Rodgers can have big Week 11

It is hard to believe, but the season is in Week 11. There are a just a few weeks left before the playoffs in many formats. Every game is important throughout the year, but these games late in the season carry so much importance at this time of the year. A slip up now could mean the difference between making and missing the playoffs. So get those lineups in order and plan for the future. It is never a bad idea to start looking a week ahead to make sure your lineup has all the right pieces in place to get a victory. A proactive owner is a winning owner.

Now for my random thoughts for the week. . . . .

It was great to see Christian Watson finally show what he is capable of, but I’m not convinced he will be consistent in this offense the rest of the year. I think he will be hit or miss, but should have some big games along the way. I’m not trying to be a Debbie Downer, but I just want to throw some caution to owners before they throw all their FAAB at Watson this week. He might continue to frustrate fantasy owners going forward.

I’m not sure Tua Tagovailoa gets enough love. Sure, he still misses on some throws you would like to see him make, but he has played very well this year, especially after returning from his concussion. He has three straight games with three touchdown passes. He also has three 300-yard games. Tagovailoa has two of his receivers in the top 10 in fantasy receiver scoring. He is doing a great job in this offense and should continue his hot play going forward. He seems to be gaining more confidence every week.

T.J. Hockenson has been targeted 19 times in two games with the Vikings. He is going to be a huge part of this offense going forward. Hockenson is the second best target in the offense behind Justin Jefferson. And what Jefferson playing out of his mind, this might actually help Hockenson find more room to run in the opposition’s secondary. He is going to be a top-five fantasy tight end the rest of the way.

I continue to be impressed by Geno Smith. He really is playing some great football. He is making good decisions and some amazing throws on a weekly basis. I don’t think anyone saw it coming outside of Geno Smith himself. He has multiple touchdowns four straight games. He has topped 20 fantasy points six of 10 games. He is seventh overall in fantasy quarterback scoring. Smith has a real chance to be a top 10 fantasy quarterback all season long. He is one of the best stories in football this season.

Jonathan Taylor has been a bust this year but last week was really encouraging. He looked healthy and played a ton, playing a season high 94 percent of the snaps. With Nyheim Hines gone, Taylor will be out there a lot more on passing downs. This really helps his fantasy value. Hopefully, his poor play most of the year didn’t doom your teams. He could be in for a strong finish if last week is any indication.

With Cooper Kupp out, I like both Allen Robinson and Tyler Higbee for big finishes to their fantasy seasons. Robinson has been a bust to date, but his targets could really soar with Kupp out. Kupp averaged 10.9 targets per game, so that is a lot of looks that will be going to other players. Robinson is more than capable based on his track record. His season high in targets is just seven. Higbee is the other Ram that is really intriguing. He already showed his potential last week, catching eight passes for 73 yards on eight targets. He already had three games with double-digit targets. Both these guys see their stock rise with the unfortunate injury to Kupp.

I’ll be honest. I have no idea what to do with Kyle Pitts at this point. He is getting the targets and his air yards are off the charts. All those indicators mean the huge game is there for the taking any given week. Unfortunately, those games have been few and far between. The poor quarterback play has impacted Pitts more than anything. Until Marcus Mariota starts to play better, Pitts will continue to be all over the place for fantasy teams. He has been as frustrating as any fantasy player this season.

News and Notes: The Packers released wide receiver Amari Rodgers and running back Kylin Hill on Tuesday. Rodgers has fallen out of favor with the Packers, especially after losing a fumble during last week’s game. Hill was serving as depth for the Packers at running back, getting little playing time. . . . .The Vikings signed free agent receiver Dede Westbrook to their practice squad on Tuesday. Westbrook has plenty of experience and some success, so he could work his way into the lineup at some point for the Vikings. . . . . .The Texans claimed running back Eno Benjamin off waivers on Tuesday. Benjamin was surprise release by the Cardinals. He gives the Texans some additional depth at running back and could be the top backup before long.

HOT PLAYS

Aaron Rodgers, QB, Packers. Rodgers had his best fantasy game of the season last week, scoring 23.6 fantasy points. He had three touchdowns for the first time all season. And he did this against a very good Cowboys defense. And while Rodgers hasn’t been great this year, he has been consistent, having multiple touchdowns all but three games. He can keep up his hot ways this week against the Titans. Tennessee allows the fourth most fantasy points to quarterbacks and rank 31st against the pass, allowing 272.6-passing yards per game.

Antonio Gibson, RB, Commanders. Gibson might not be starting anymore but he is still helping fantasy teams. He has at least 14 fantasy points three of four games. The Commanders gave him 14 carries last week, which tied a season high. And his work in the passing game gives him a high weekly floor, having at least three receptions six of seven games. Gibson should perform well again this week against the Texans, a team that allows the most fantasy points to running backs. Houston has allowed at least 136-rushing yards all but one game this season.

Tee Higgins, WR, Bengals. Higgins has double-digit fantasy points all but the first game of the season. He has not been outstanding but very consistent. And with JaMarr Chase out of the lineup, he can be the go-to option in this passing attack. He tied a season high in receptions his last game out with seven. Higgins should get a heavy workload this week against the Steelers, a team that allows the second most fantasy points to receivers.

David Montgomery, RB, Bears. With Khalil Herbert placed on Injured Reserve, this leaves Montgomery to get nearly all the work at running back. He no longer has to split the workload, which is very encouraging for his fantasy value. Montgomery hasn’t done a whole lot this year but does have three games with double-digit fantasy points and a 100-yard showing in Week 2. He is setup for maybe his best game of the season this week against the Falcons. Atlanta allows the 12th most fantasy points to running backs and gave up 232-rushing yards to the Panthers last week. Atlanta has allowed 169 or more rushing yards two of three games.

Dalton Schultz, TE, Cowboys. Schultz is a different player with Dak Prescott as his starting quarterback. He has two straight games with at least 13 fantasy points and at least five receptions three consecutive games. He gets a heavy workload with Prescott as the signal caller. He is a legit TE1 for fantasy teams. Schultz can produce big once again in Week 11 against the Vikings. Minnesota allows the 10th most fantasy points to tight ends and rank 29th overall abasing the pass.

COLD PLAYS

D’Andre Swift, RB, Lions. Sure, Swift scored a touchdown last week but he still didn’t hit double-digit fantasy points. That is pretty hard to do. He wasn’t even listed on the Injury Report for Week 10, but still didn’t get near a full workload. Swift played behind both Jamaal Williams and Justin Jackson much of the game. Swift is so hard for fantasy owners to trust right now, getting very sporadic work. If you have better options, go with them in Week 11. Swift gets the Giants, a team that allows the fifth fewest fantasy points to running backs.

DeVonta Smith, WR, Eagles. Smith scored a touchdown last week and was targeted eight times in the game. That was the good news. The bad news is he had just 39 yards. He has failed to top 50 yards four straight gams and five of six. He has been a little boom or bust for fantasy owners. He might get volume again this week but look for his yardage numbers to struggle once again. Smith plays a shutdown Colts pass defense. Indy allows the fewest fantasy points to receivers and rank seventh overall against the pass.

Derek Carr, QB, Raiders. Carr scored had two touchdowns for the second straight game last week. He has looked a little better lately, but his overall numbers still haven’t been great this year. He has been more mediocre than good for a team that is underachieving. Carr has a real tough matchup this week against the Broncos, a team that held him out of the end zone in Week 4. Carr did not even reach 200-passing yards in that game. Denver allows the fewest fantasy points to quarterbacks and are first overall against the pass. Go with other options at quarterback in Week 11.

Michael Carter, RB, Jets. Carter had a season high in rushing yards his last time out, rushing 12 times for 76 yards and a touchdown. He has been decent much of the year, having double-digit fantasy points five times. But he has been shutdown rushing at times and that could happen again this week. He gets the Patriots, a team that held him to seven carries for 26 yards in Week 8. The Patriots allow the second fewest fantasy points to running backs. New England has allowed fewer than 80-rushing yards three of four games.

George Pickens, WR, Steelers. Pickens scored his second touchdown of the season last week, but that came on the ground. He has been a little quiet catching the ball the last few weeks, having three receptions for 32 yards on seven targets his last two games. He is a little hard to trust, especially in matchups that aren’t too favorable. And a game against the Bengals isn’t a great one for him. He had a catch for three yards on three targets against the Bengals in Week 1. Cincinnati allows the sixth fewest fantasy points to receivers.

SLEEPERS

Darius Slayton, WR, Giants. Slayton had a season-high 95 yards last week and scored his second touchdown of the season. He has scores two of three games and reached double-digit fantasy points in all those games. He has really emerged as the go-to receiver for the Giants passing game. Slayton can reach double-digit fantasy points once again in Week 11 against the Lions. Detroit is playing better defense the last few weeks but still allow the seventh most fantasy points to receivers and rank 27th overall against the pass.

Melvin Gordon, RB, Broncos. Gordon has not taken off since becoming the starter for the Broncos. He hasn’t been all bad, though. He has two straight games with double-digit fantasy points. He has double-digit touches three straight games, getting the chances in the Broncos offense. If Gordon gets that workload this week, he should do well. He plays the Raiders, a team that allows the fourth most fantasy points to running backs. Las Vegas allowed more than 200-rushing yards last week.

Jimmy Garoppolo, QB, 49ers. Garoppolo didn’t have a passing touchdown but ran one in last week. He failed to top 20 fantasy points in the game, breaking a streak of four straight games with 20-plus fantasy points. He has been very consistent since becoming the starter in San Francisco. Look for Garoppolo to top 20 fantasy points this week against the Cardinals. Arizona allows the seventh most fantasy points to quarterbacks and 17-passing touchdowns. He is a solid low-end QB1 for this week

Kenyan Drake, RB, Ravens. Gus Edwards is expected to return this week, but Drake might carry the load with his hot ways lately. He has 16-plus fantasy points three of four games. He had a season-high 24 carries his last time out. Drake is a solid No. 2 fantasy back for teams in Week 11 against the Panthers. Carolina allows the fifth most fantasy points to running backs. The Panthers have allowed 135-plus rushing yards three straight games. Carolina gave up more than 200-rushing yards to a below average Bengals rush offense just two weeks ago. Don’t be afraid to play Drake despite the return of Edwards.

Tyler Conklin, TE, Jets. If you can believe this, Conklin is sixth overall in fantasy tight end scoring. And his is after a game that he had just a catch for seven yards. He has been solid most of the year, having four games with double-digit fantasy points. And his best game of the season came against his opponent this week, the Patriots. In Week 8 against New England, Conklin has six receptions for 79 yards and two touchdowns. The Patriots have struggled to stop tight ends much of the season, allowing the sixth most fantasy points to tight ends.

High/Low Scoring Games

Each week we will take a look at some of the high and low scoring games for the coming week. In high scoring affairs, get your marginal players on those teams in your lineup to take advantage of the possible points barrage. And in the low scoring games, keep those marginal players on the bench and make sure to have your defenses involved in those contests.

High Scoring Games: Bears/Falcons, Chiefs/Chargers, Cowboys/Vikings.

Low Scoring Games: Titans/Packers, Jets/Patriots, Rams/Saints.

Bye Weeks: Jaguars, Dolphins, Seahawks, Bucs.

Caleb Williams Apr 25 4:50pm ET
Caleb Williams

The Chicago Bears are expected to select USC quarterback Caleb Williams with the first overall pick in the 2024 NFL draft, but they are willing to trade down from the No. 9 overall selection, according to Dianna Russini of The Athletic. Chicago only has four total picks in this year's draft, so moving down to acquire more selections makes plenty of sense. The team has been linked to Washington wide receiver Rome Odunze, Alabama edge rusher Dallas Turner, and UCLA edge rusher Laiatu Latu if they stay put, but the options become plentiful if they decide to move down the board. QB-needy teams like the Denver Broncos and Las Vegas Raiders could be potential trade partners. Quarterbacks Bo Nix, Michael Penix Jr., and J.J. McCarthy could still be available at that spot.

J.J. McCarthy Apr 25 4:40pm ET
J.J. McCarthy

The Minnesota Vikings secured an additional first-round pick in the 2024 NFL draft via a trade with the Houston Texans in March. The organization held the No. 11 overall pick after finishing 7-10 in 2023, and they sent a bundle of picks to acquire the No. 23 overall selection from Houston (via Cleveland Browns). Many believe the Vikings are trying to use their two picks to move into the range to select a quarterback, and NFL insider Peter Schrager projects the Titans to be that trade partner. Tennessee holds the No. 7 selection, which could put the Vikings in range to pick Michigan quarterback J.J. McCarthy. Schrager has the Vikings making that pick and the Titans landing Notre Dame tackle Joe Alt at pick 11. There are likely multiple avenues Minnesota can take if the speculation is current, but Tennessee could be willing to trade down since they do not have a third-round selection.

It's no secret that the Buffalo Bills need to add some wide receivers in this year's NFL draft after trading Stefon Diggs to the Houston Texans and losing Gabe Davis in free agency this offseason. At No. 28 overall in the first round of Thursday night's draft, the Bills would seem to be set to take a pass-catcher. However, NFL Network's Tom Pelissero thinks the draft class' depth at the receiver position could lead the Bills to wait perhaps until the second round to take a receiver, potentially adding a defensive player in the first round instead. As Buffalo's depth chart stands right now, their top three receivers are Khalil Shakir, Justin Shorter and veteran Curtis Samuel. Even if the team adds a few wideouts in this year's draft, tight end Dalton Kincaid could be Buffalo's leading receiver in 2024.

Matthew Stafford Apr 25 2:30pm ET
Matthew Stafford

The Los Angeles Rams, who haven't picked in the first round since 2016, are calling up to try to get into the top 10 of the first round of this year's NFL draft on Thursday evening, according to sources. The Rams currently sit at pick No. 19, so it would take a lot to pull off a move into the top 10 this year. It's unclear who they might be eyeing if they were to pull it off, but the best bet would be to select Georgia pass-catching tight end Brock Bowers, who has been projected to go at 10th overall to the New York Jets in a lot of mock drafts. The Rams have also been rumored to be looking for a successor to aging quarterback Matthew Stafford, but it's unlikely they pull off a move all the way into the top five to take one of the high-end signal-callers in this year's draft. A defensive tackle is also on their draft wish list.

Jarrett Stidham Apr 25 2:20pm ET
Jarrett Stidham

The Denver Broncos are a contender to select a quarterback and potentially make a move in the first round of Thursday night's NFL draft, even after trading for quarterback Zach Wilson earlier this week. Denver sits at No. 12 overall, but NFL Network's Tom Pelissero reiterated that he thinks the Broncos could trade down within the first round. They likely don't have enough draft capital to move into the top-four picks to take a high-end QB, so instead, they could move down to take a pass-rusher or even Oregon QB Bo Nix. The Broncos have been linked to Michigan QB J.J. McCarthy as well, but McCarthy's draft stock has been soaring in the lead-up to the draft, which means the Broncos would likely have to trade into the top five to get him. As of right now, Wilson is set to compete with Jarrett Stidham for the starting job under center in 2024.

Drake Maye Apr 25 2:10pm ET
Drake Maye

The New York Giants have been trying to trade up to No. 3 overall with the New England Patriots in the first round of Thursday night's NFL draft, with the belief being that they want to select North Carolina quarterback Drake Maye, according to multiple league sources. The prevailing thought is that it's a long shot to happen, though, but the Patriots are listening to all calls. The Giants and Vikings appear to be the most aggressive teams that are trying to trade into the top five in order to take a QB of the future in this year's draft. The Patriots have been open to trading down, but so far they've reportedly not received any serious enough offers, and they are also looking for a QB of their own after trading away Mac Jones this offseason. Most pundits are expecting New England to stand pat and take Maye if LSU's Jayden Daniels goes to the Commanders at No. 2.

From RotoBaller

Jamin Davis Apr 25 2:10pm ET
Jamin Davis

The Washington Commanders are declining the fifth-year contract option of linebacker Jamin Davis, according to a source. It's been heading this way for on and off-field reasons. The plan in 2024 is to have the athletically gifted Davis become a "hybrid" defender, which should translate to less pass coverage and more attempts to rush the quarterback. Davis played his rookie season in 2021 at Mike linebacker before moving to the off-ball role in the team's 4-2-5 base defense. According to Pro Football Focus, he tied for the highest yards per catch allowed (12.1) last year and ranked fourth-worst in average depth of target (5.5) because of his limited coverage instincts. The 25-year-old former 19th overall pick out of Kentucky has just seven sacks in his three seasons, but he could be more productive in that category if he's rushing the passer more in 2024.

From RotoBaller

Ja'Marr Chase Apr 25 8:24am ET
Ja'Marr Chase

Dynasty | The Bengals are picking up the fifth year option on the contract of Ja'Marr Chase. Dynasty Analysis: Consider this a placeholder as Cincinnati now needs to prepare to make Chase the highest paid receiver in the league. Amon-Ra St. Brown has set the market with a four-year, $120 million extension ($77 million guaranteed), so the Bengals are going to need to assemble a few armored cars here soon. Chase and Justin Jefferson should both be set to sign historic deals and while the option being picked up buys the Bengals one more season, dynasty managers shouldn't worry about him hitting free agency any time soon. Chase remains a bona fide candidate for the top overall selection in dynasty leagues.

J.J. McCarthy Apr 24 11:50pm ET
J.J. McCarthy

When asked by Rich Eisen if he has any idea on where he's going to end up in this week's NFL draft, Michigan quarterback J.J. McCarthy hinted at the New York Giants, who currently own the No. 6 overall pick in the first round on Thursday night. "I have somewhat of an Idea, New York, #Giants, I've spent the most time with. They're a phenomenal staff," McCarthy said. The young QB's stock has been rising rapidly ever since his pro-day workout. Reports suggest the Giants and Vikings could be in a raise to trade up to select McCarthy, who is attractive because of his experience running a pro-style offense in college. With Daniel Jones (knee) coming off a torn ACL and with no guaranteed money owed to him beyond 2024, the G-Men have done their due diligence on QBs in this year's draft and feel like a lock to take one at some point this week.

From RotoBaller

Bo Nix Apr 24 9:20pm ET
Bo Nix

Denver Broncos' connections to Oregon quarterback Bo Nix have persisted with the 2024 NFL draft just a day away on Thursday night. Nix is a player that teams could wait on until the second round, but the Broncos don't have a current second-round pick this year and are slated to select in the first round at No. 12. Their acquisition of former first-rounder Zach Wilson adds another layer to their QB situation heading into Thursday evening. The Broncos have done their homework on the QB draft class -- they hosted Washington's Michael Penix Jr. on a top-30 visit and watched Michigan's J.J. McCarthy work out -- and have discussed a potential trade up in the first round. However, they have plenty of other needs and have also talked about trading down. Right now, Jarrett Stidham and Wilson are slated to compete for the starting job in training camp.

From RotoBaller

Michael Penix Jr. Apr 24 9:10pm ET
Michael Penix Jr.

The Las Vegas Raiders are thought to be high on Washington quarterback Michael Penix Jr., and if the QB market starts drying up quickly in the first round of Thursday night's NFL draft and they feel the need to trade up in order to avoid being shut out, the Los Angeles Chargers at No. 5 and the Tennessee Titans at No. 7 are two teams that people think are willing to trade down. The Raiders would love to be able to get up high enough to take LSU's Jayden Daniels to reunite him with head coach Antonio Pierce, but they know they might not be able to do that. The Raiders have talked with the Arizona Cardinals about what it would take to trade up to No. 4, but Vegas' interest in that pick would likely cool off significantly if Daniels is among the top three picks, as expected.

From RotoBaller

Drake Maye Apr 24 9:00pm ET
Drake Maye

New England Patriots ownership seems to have a strong preference to come out of the first round of this year's NFL draft with a quarterback, so moving back to, say, No. 11 with the Minnesota Vikings or No. 13 with the Las Vegas Raiders might be too far of a drop for the team to still ensure their ability to do that. But if they move back only three spots to No. 6 in a trade with the New York Giants, they could still be in position to pick a QB in the first round and add multiple extra premium picks. The Patriots gathered information on Washington QB Michael Penix Jr. in the pre-draft process in case they decide to trade down. The Pats appear to be high on him, but ESPN's Dan Graziano doesn't think he'll be in consideration if they stay at No. 3. Most pundits believe New England will take North Carolina's Drake Maye if they stick in the third spot.

From RotoBaller

J.J. McCarthy Apr 24 8:50pm ET
J.J. McCarthy

The Athletic's Jeff Howe predicts that New York Giants will trade the sixth overall pick in this year's NFL draft and a 2025 second-round pick to the Arizona Cardinals in order to move up to fourth overall to take Michigan quarterback J.J. McCarthy on Thursday night. Cardinals general manager Monti Ossenfort is eager to trade down for a second straight year. If LSU's Jayden Daniels or North Carolina's Drake Maye remain available at No. 4, the Minnesota Vikings or Las Vegas Raiders would probably become more aggressive in pursuing the fourth overall pick. "I think there's going to be a race to McCarthy between the Giants and Vikings," a coach said. McCarthy doesn't have the upside that the top three QBs in this class do, but rival executives cited concerns with Giants current QB Daniel Jones' (knee) health after tearing his ACL and dealing with a neck injury in 2023.

From RotoBaller

Drake Maye Apr 24 8:40pm ET
Drake Maye

The Athletic's Jeff Howe thinks No. 3 to the New England Patriots in Thursday night's NFL draft feels like the spot for North Carolina quarterback Drake Maye, although a couple executives made a case for Michigan's J.J. McCarthy. Maye has prototypical size, arm strength and athletic ability, but there's genuine concern about his inconsistencies in 2023, and his tape shed light on some erratic throws and tendencies. He has a reputation as a high-character person with great leadership abilities. Maye would be the more traditional pick at No. 3 to the Pats, with McCarthy being viewed as more of a surprise. If Maye is still available at No. 3, one executive thinks the Minnesota Vikings "would move heaven and Earth" to try and move up to draft him. If Maye lands in New England, he could sit and learn behind veteran Jacoby Brissett in 2024.

From RotoBaller

Micah Parsons Apr 24 8:30pm ET
Micah Parsons

The Dallas Cowboys officially picked up hybrid defensive end Micah Parsons' fifth-year option for the 2025 season on Wednesday, according to a person familiar with the move. Parsons' salary is worth $21.32 million as a defensive end, which is the position at which he played the majority of his snaps in 2023. The 24-year-old former 12th overall pick in 2021 out of Penn State has been a beast rushing the passer so far in his first three NFL seasons. He's made the Pro Bowl in all three seasons and has a total of 213 tackles (142 solo), 40.5 sacks, 51 tackles for loss, 89 QB hits, eight passes defended, seven forced fumbles and four fumble recoveries (one returned for a touchdown) in 50 regular-season starts. Parsons had 64 tackles and a career-high 14 sacks in 2023 and will once again be a highly coveted pass-rusher in IDP fantasy formats this fall.

Jayden Daniels Apr 24 8:30pm ET
Jayden Daniels

Word around the league is that the Washington Commanders have advocates in their building for both LSU quarterback Jayden Daniels and North Carolina QB Drake Maye. However, almost everyone polled for The Athletic's story believed Daniels was destined for Washington with new general manager Adam Peters hot for Daniels. The belief from rival teams is that the Commanders had been leaning toward Maye much earlier in the pre-draft process, but Daniels has done enough to lock himself into the No. 2 pick. One executive from a team outside of the top 10 wouldn't rule out a brief Daniels slide, perhaps down to No. 4. Still, it's highly unlikely Daniels drops out of the top five. If he goes to D.C., he'll be favored to start from Day 1 in his rookie season.

Tarik Cohen Apr 24 8:20pm ET
Tarik Cohen

Carolina Panthers linebacker Shaq Thompson (leg), offensive guard Austin Corbett (knee), pass-rusher Jadeveon Clowney and running back Tarik Cohen (Achilles) have all been taking part in drills during voluntary offseason workouts this week. Meanwhile, offensive guard Chandler Zavala (knee) and linebackers D.J. Wonnum (quadriceps) Amare Barno (knee) weren't participating in drills. Thompson, who suffered a fractured fibula in Week 2 last year against the New Orleans Saints, is the most notable name of this group. The 30-year-old should be ready to go for training camp and the preseason later this year as long as he doesn't suffer a setback before then. The former 25th overall pick in 2015 out of Washington recorded 100-plus combined tackles in each of his previous four seasons with Carolina before getting hurt in 2023.

From RotoBaller

Trey Hendrickson Apr 24 8:10pm ET
Trey Hendrickson

Cincinnati Bengals three-time Pro Bowl defensive end Trey Hendrickson has requested to be traded from the Bengals, according to a league source. Hendrickson is due to make $15 million in 2024 and is looking for more long-term security than the Bengals have been willing to offer. It remains to be seen if the 29-year-old's wish will be granted with the first round of the 2024 NFL draft coming on Thursday evening. The former third-round pick of the New Orleans Saints in 2017 out of Florida Atlantic has made the Pro Bowl in each of the last three seasons with the Bengals. In 17 starts in 2023, he had a career-high 43 tackles (28 solo), a career-high 17.5 sacks, 16 tackles for loss, 25 QB hits and three forced fumbles. Even if he heads to a new team for 2024, Hendrickson should still be in play as a weekly starting defensive lineman in IDP fantasy leagues.

Ezekiel Elliott Apr 24 8:10pm ET
Ezekiel Elliott

The Dallas Cowboys are currently meeting with free-agent running back Ezekiel Elliott's representatives around the facility on Wednesday, a day before the start of the 2024 NFL draft, according to a source. There has been mutual interest from both sides in a reunion this offseason as the Cowboys look to bolster their running back position after losing Tony Pollard in free agency. As of right now, Dallas' RB room consists of Rico Dowdle, Deuce Vaughn, Malik Davis, Royce Freeman and Snoop Conner. The 28-year-old Elliott had 184 carries for 642 yards (career-low 3.5 yards per carry) and three touchdowns while adding 51 catches for 313 yards and another two scores through the air in 17 games for the New England Patriots in 2023. At this point in his career, Zeke needs volume to be fantasy relevant, and that probably won't happen if he returns to Dallas.

Ezekiel Elliott Apr 24 7:13pm ET
Ezekiel Elliott

Free-agent RB Ezekiel Elliott's (Patriots) representative is meeting with the Dallas Cowboys Wednesday, April 24, according to a source.

Fantasy Spin: The Cowboys do not have a clear starter at running back, so Elliott probably would have a big role if he decided to return to the Cowboys. Fantasy players can monitor the situation because Elliott could be at least a flex option if he starts in 2024.
