According to ESPN's Jeremy Fowler, speaking on Saturday's edition of SportsCenter, the Bengals are reportedly "willing to listen" to offers for wide receiver Tee Higgins. Cincinnati tagged Higgins almost immediately after the end of the 2023-24 campaign, which wasn't surprising to anyone. But the latest update on Higgins doesn't mean the team is actively shopping him, nor does it imply other clubs have called about him. The wideout struggled last season, amassing 656 yards and five touchdowns off 42 catches. He was also limited to only 12 games due to various ailments. With that said, no matter where Higgins ends up, he must stay healthy to get back to the 1,000-yard receiving mark. But if he remains with the Bengals, he'll need Joe Burrow (wrist) to stay on the field, something that's been an issue for the signal-caller since entering the league.

Dynasty | Bengals wide receiver Tee Higgins has requested a trade. Dynasty Analysis: Higgins clearly isn't thrilled the Bengals haven't had any substantive long-term contract talks with him and doesn't have a lot of interest in playing on the franchise tag this year. While it's anyone's guess if the Bengals will oblige, it stands to wonder now if Higgins will threaten to hold out and not play on the tag. It's a bit of a mess but should be resolved in some way shape or form here soon. If Higgins is moved, it will likely help his dynasty value as any team acquiring him would likely see him as their new WR1. Stay tuned.

Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Tee Higgins is requesting a trade, according to Ari Meirov of the 33rd Team. The organization used the franchise tag on Higgins this offseason and reportedly wants to keep him around, but it appears Higgins is ready to move on. The 2020 second-round pick has racked up 257 receptions for 3,684 yards and 24 touchdowns through his first 58 NFL games. He posted at least 1,000 receiving yards in 2021 and 2022, but he was limited to just 656 yards in 12 games last season. With Ja'Marr Chase on the roster, Higgins is stuck in the WR2 role, meaning he's unlikely to post monster seasons that will earn him a high-figure contract. He could operate as a team's top receiver if he lands in an ideal spot, but we'll see if the organization is willing to move him before the start of the 2024 campaign.

Cincinnati Bengals director of player personnel Duke Tobin hinted that the team doesn't plan on trading impending free-agent wide receiver Tee Higgins, who was given the franchise tag. "Really simple. He's a good player. We want to keep him. We have resources to do that. We're a better team with Tee," Tobin said. While it's great news for the Bengals if they keep Higgins around for another season, it's also bad news for his fantasy value entering the 2024 campaign. The 25-year-old would make $21.8 million this year if he ends up playing on the franchise tag. He played in just 11 games in 2023 due to hamstring and rib injuries, finishing with a disappointing 42 receptions for 656 yards and five touchdowns on 76 targets. A bounce-back season in 2024 for Higgins should be expected if he's healthy, but the presence of Ja'Marr Chase will continue to affect Higgins' ceiling if he remains in Cincy.

Dynasty | The Bengals have informed wide receiver Tee Higgins of their intention to use the franchise tag on him. Dynasty Analysis: The move will pay Higgins around $22 million this upcoming season. It's a hearty number to spend on a number two receiver but Higgins is hardly your typical second option and would be the top target for a number of teams in the league. He had a down season last year with just a 42/656/5 season but much of that can be attributed to injuries he suffered and the loss of Joe Burrow for part of the season. It's still disappointing to dynasty managers who were hoping to see him cash in on the open market. It's unlikely the Bengals can keep him long-term so this could also represent a one-year buy low window for our WR18.

Feb 24 1:10pm ET

The Cincinnati Bengals informed impending free-agent wide receiver Tee Higgins on Friday that they will place the franchise tag on him, according to a source. Instead of trying to negotiate a long-term contract extension with Higgins right now, they will place the franchise tag on him by the deadline next week. This was always the most likely outcome for the 25-year-old, who played in just 12 games in 2023 due to injuries. He was a disappointment for fantasy managers, finishing with a career-low 42 catches on 76 targets for 656 yards and five touchdowns. Higgins could certainly bounce back with better health in 2024, but getting out from under the shadow of No. 1 receiver Ja'Marr Chase in Cincinnati would have been the best scenario for Higgins' fantasy value moving forward.

Dynasty | All indications are pointing towards Bengals receiver Tee Higgins receiving the franchise tag. Dynasty Analysis: This isn't exactly a stunning development as the Bengals currently have a pretty good salary cap situation going on. However, this isn't great news for dynasty managers who were looking for Higgins to escape the shadow of Ja'Marr Chase and establish himself as a true WR1 for another team. Higgins struggled with nagging injuries and the loss of Joe Burrow this season en route to a 42/656/5 season. Higgins has dropped to our WR18 but there could be some value in acquiring him here soon as there's little way Cincinnati could keep him and Chase together long-term.

Feb 13 1:00pm ET

The Athletic's Paul Dehner Jr. writes that all indications are pointing to the Cincinnati Bengals using their franchise tag on impending free-agent wide receiver Tee Higgins this offseason. The franchise tag for a receiver for 2024 would cost Cincy $20.7 million. One league source suggested the Bengals could place the tag on Higgins early in the window as a statement acknowledging that no long-term deal will be reached and opening the door for the rest of the league to consider or submit tag-and-trade offers. The team could also tag Higgins again in 2025 but would do so at 120 percent of this year, which would be for $24.8 million. The 25-year-old wideout was a major source of frustration for fantasy managers in 2023, as he played in a career-low 12 games, finishing with 42 catches for 656 yards and only five touchdowns. If he remains in Cincy, his ceiling and floor will be capped as long as he's in the shadow of Ja'Marr Chase.

Jan 7 12:40pm ET

Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Tee Higgins (hamstring) is officially inactive for the Week 18 regular season finale on Sunday against the Cleveland Browns, as expected. Higgins was listed as doubtful on Friday's final injury report, so fantasy managers should have already been ignoring Higgins everywhere for the final game of the year. The 24-year-old tweaked his hamstring in last week's loss to the Kansas City Chiefs, and with the Bengals not having anything to play for in Week 18, they understandably aren't going to let Higgins suit up. He finishes his fourth year in the NFL with his most disappointing season to date, catching 42 passes for 656 yards and five touchdowns on 76 targets over 12 games. Higgins should be able to bounce back in 2024 with better health, but his fantasy value will depend on where he winds up in free agency. Ja'Marr Chase and Tyler Boyd will be Cincy's top two wideouts on Sunday.

Jan 5 2:50pm ET

Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Tee Higgins (hamstring) did not practice on Friday and is listed as doubtful to play in the Week 18 regular season finale on Sunday against the Cleveland Browns. Higgins didn't practice all week after tweaking his hamstring in the Week 17 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs. If the Bengals were still in playoff contention, the 24-year-old wideout might have made a bigger push to play, but Cincy doesn't have anything to play for besides pride in this one. Higgins played in only 12 games in his fourth NFL season due to various injuries and finished with career-lows in receptions (42), targets (76), receiving yards (656) and touchdowns (five). It didn't help that quarterback Joe Burrow (wrist) dealt with injuries, too, and didn't play a full season. With Higgins out on Sunday, Ja'Marr Chase (shoulder) and Tyler Boyd will be the team's top two wideouts.

Jan 4 6:40pm ET

Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Tee Higgins (hamstring) missed the team's practice for the second straight day on Thursday. Higgins injured his hamstring in the Week 17 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs and is looking unlikely to play in the Week 18 regular season finale on Sunday against the Cleveland Browns with the Bengals eliminated from postseason contention. As of right now, fantasy managers shouldn't anticipate having the 24-year-old available in a game that doesn't matter for either team this weekend. Ja'Marr Chase (shoulder) is practicing in full and is expected to play, so he should be quarterback Jake Browning's top target. For those playing in DFS contests in Week 18, Tyler Boyd would become much more attractive as a low-cost sleeper if Higgins is inactive.

From RotoBaller

Jan 3 6:30pm ET

Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Tee Higgins (hamstring) was unable to practice with the team on Wednesday after stretching. Higgins tweaked his hamstring in the Week 17 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs last Sunday and finished with only one reception for 19 yards a week after going off for a 5-140-1 line. The Bengals don't have anything to play for in Week 18 against the Cleveland Browns after getting eliminated from playoff contention in Week 17, so the Bengals won't be in any rush to get Higgins back on the field this weekend. If he doesn't play against Cleveland, Higgins would wrap up a disappointing fourth year with Cincy with 42 receptions for 656 yards and five touchdowns in a career-low 12 games. Tyler Boyd would be the team's No. 2 wideout behind Ja'Marr Chase (shoulder) if Higgins ultimately ends up being inactive.

Jan 1 1:30am ET

Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Tee Higgins (hamstring) finished with one catch for 19 yards in Sunday's loss to the Kansas City Chiefs. The wideout exited briefly because of a hamstring issue. However, he returned, although it didn't make a difference on the fantasy end. After the game, Higgins reported he injured the same hamstring that kept him out of the lineup earlier in the 2023-24 campaign. As a result, there's a good chance he won't suit up in Week 18 against the Cleveland Browns, especially since Cincinnati can't make the postseason.

Dec 31 6:20pm ET

Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Tee Higgins (hamstring) returned to Sunday's matchup with the Chiefs. Higgins had three touchdowns in the last two games entering the contest, so he is likely starting in more fantasy lineups than in previous weeks. With the Bengals up four points midway through the third quarter, there's a good chance he'll see more than a few looks from Jake Browning throughout the remainder of the contest.

Dec 31 5:10pm ET

Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Tee Higgins (hamstring) exited during the first quarter of Sunday's game against the Kansas City Chiefs and is officially questionable to return. At the time of his departure, he had caught one pass for 19 yards. The former second-round pick is fresh off a big game as the Bengals' No. 1 receiver in which he totaled five catches, 140 yards, and one touchdown. Although his role was expected to decrease this week with Ja'Marr Chase (shoulder) back in the fold, there was optimism that he could still have standalone value while catching passes from Jake Browning. Fantasy managers certainly hope the talented pass-catcher can return later in this contest.

Dec 29 11:40pm ET

Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Tee Higgins hasn't met expectations throughout the 2023-24 campaign. However, the wideout had one of his best performances of the season in the Week 16 loss to the Steelers, catching five passes for 140 yards and a touchdown. Of course, with Ja'Marr Chase (shoulder) sidelined for that one, Higgins received extra attention from Jake Browning. But with three touchdowns in the last two games, he'll look to keep it going versus the Chiefs in Week 17. Without question, Higgins' fantasy ceiling is higher without Chase in the lineup. On the other hand, he's played well enough recently to warrant a spot in fantasy lineups even if Chase is back on the field.

Dec 23 11:13pm ET

Dynasty | Bengals wide receiver Tee Higgins had five catches for 140 yards and a touchdown in a loss against Pittsburgh. Dynasty Analysis: Fantasy managers will take out even though much of the damage from Higgins came on one single 80-yard touchdown reception. Regardless, this was a big day for him as Ja'Marr Chase missed the game with an injury. Higgins is going to be a very interesting player to value this off-season as he's quite possibly playing his last few games as a Bengal. Higgins comes in as our WR15.

From Dynasty League Fantasy

Dec 23 10:40pm ET

Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Tee Higgins caught five of eight targets for 140 yards during the AFC North showdown with the Steelers on Saturday. The wideout also had a touchdown, an 80-yard scoring catch early in the third quarter for his third trip to the end zone in the last two games. Higgins has struggled for most of the 2023-24 campaign. However, he's earned the right to be included in fantasy lineups for the Week 17 road encounter with the Kansas City Chiefs, even if Ja'Marr Chase (shoulder) is back in the lineup.

Dec 23 7:30pm ET

Bengals' WR Tee Higgins had 5 receptions for 140 yards with one touchdown in Saturday's loss in Pittsburgh.

Dec 22 10:30pm ET

Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Tee Higgins hasn't had a productive 2023-24 campaign. He's dealt with a few injuries. Additionally, the 24-year-old found the end zone just twice ahead of the meeting with the Vikings. Most fantasy managers had lost hope, so he wasn't included in many starting lineups in Week 15. However, he caught four passes and was targeted eight times versus Minnesota, ending with 61 yards and two touchdowns. He's still hard to trust despite coming off an impressive performance. But with Ja'Marr Chase (shoulder) unavailable, Higgins is a must-start.
