Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Zay Jones (hamstring, knee) returned from a two-game absence for the Week 18 meeting with the Titans. He finished with six catches (nine targets) for 47 yards. However, it was enough, as the Jags couldn't beat the Titans to earn a postseason berth. Nevertheless, Jones struggled with various injuries and underwhelming play throughout the 2023-24 campaign. Although Trevor Lawrence didn't help make things easy for Jones, fantasy managers were still disappointed with how things ended. At any rate, he's not a lock to be back in Jacksonville next season. However, Lawrence must turn things around if Jones hopes to be a week-to-week fantasy option in 2024-25.

Jan 7 12:10pm ET

Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Zay Jones (hamstring, knee), who was questionable to play on Sunday, is officially active for the Week 18 regular season finale against the Tennessee Titans on the road in a must-win game. Jones will return following a two-game absence due to a hamstring injury and should have a significant role now that we know Christian Kirk (groin) isn't going to play. Still, the 28-year-old could have his snaps monitored, which makes him a pretty risky DFS play. Jones has only played in eight games this year, mainly due to a knee injury, and he's cobbled together 28 catches for 274 yards and two touchdowns on 55 targets. However, in three games before his injury with Kirk sidelined, he was targeted a healthy 30 times and caught 15 of them for 166 yards and no touchdowns.

Jacksonville Jaguars WR Zay Jones (hamstring, knee) is officially active for the Week 18 game.

Fantasy Spin: Jones should see a few targets in the passing game but can be avoided in most leagues since fantasy players should have better options available.

From TheHuddle

Jan 7 9:43am ET

Jacksonville Jaguars WR Zay Jones (hamstring, knee) is expected to play in Week 18's game against the Tennessee Titans.

Fantasy Spin: Jones had been listed as questionable on the injury report after logging three limited practice sessions during the week. He should see a few targets if he is active for Sunday afternoon's game but can probably be avoided in most fantasy leagues.

From TheHuddle

Jan 7 8:40am ET

Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Zay Jones (knee, hamstring) is expected to play in Week 18 versus the Tennessee Titans, per NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. He had been listed as questionable after logging three consecutive limited practices. The wide receiver's fantasy value will heavily depend on the statuses of Trevor Lawrence (right shoulder) and Christian Kirk (groin). He could certainly rank as a fantasy WR3, but only if his starting quarterback is available and he's the No. 2 receiver behind Calvin Ridley.

Jan 6 2:10pm ET

Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Zay Jones (knee/hamstring) faces the Tennessee Titans and their leaky secondary in Week 18. The veteran wideout hasn't played the last two weeks as he continues to nurse multiple injuries, but he was able to log limited practices this week. The Titans are a great matchup for opposing wide receivers, but with the nagging injuries and possibility of C.J. Beathard starting another game, Jones makes for a riskier flex option in Week 18. It's worth noting that Lawrence loves throwing to Jones when he's on the field, so if the QB1 is able to go, Jones becomes a much more intriguing flex play in the last week of the regular season

Jan 5 5:00pm ET

Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Zay Jones (knee, hamstring) is officially questionable to play in Week 18 after logging three limited practices in a row. Despite the vague injury designation, head coach Doug Pederson told the media that Jones will play on Sunday. His presence will be key for the Jaguars who haven't secured a playoff berth but do control their own destiny this week versus Tennessee. The Jaguars are somewhat shorthanded at wide receiver with Christian Kirk (core) on injured reserve and questionable to return this week. Assuming Jones operates as the Jaguars' No. 2 receiver, he'll rank as a mid-range WR4 option in most fantasy leagues.

Jan 5 4:13pm ET

Jacksonville Jaguars WR Zay Jones (hamstring, knee) was limited during practice Friday, Jan. 5, and is listed as questionable for Week 18.

Fantasy Spin: Jones may be a game-time decision for the Week 18 game, so fantasy players will need to check the inactive list. He will see a few targets if he is active for the game but probably can be avoided in most leagues.

From TheHuddle

Jan 4 9:40pm ET

Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Zay Jones (knee, hamstring) was once again a limited participant during Thursday's practice session. Jones was limited through practice last week before ultimately sitting out on Sunday. Jones has started off this week with back-to-back limited practice sessions. At this point, it's hard to tell if Jones is actually making solid progress or not. Regardless, Jones is unlikely to be much of a fantasy factor even if he does play versus the Tennessee Titans in Week 18. He should be viewed as a WR4 or a risky dart throw in DFS contests for this weekend.

Jan 4 4:43pm ET

Jacksonville Jaguars WR Zay Jones (hamstring, knee) was limited during practice Thursday, Jan. 4.

Fantasy Spin: Jones has been dealing with injuries for most of the second half of the season, so his status for Week 18 is uncertain at this point. He will see a few targets if he is active for the game but is only a possible flex option in deeper leagues.

From TheHuddle

Jan 4 4:23pm ET

Jacksonville Jaguars WR Zay Jones (knee, hamstring), WR Christian Kirk (groin) and QB Trevor Lawrence (shoulder, finger) were limited in practice on Thursday, Jan. 4. OG Ezra Cleveland (knee), OT Walker Little (hamstring) and QB C.J. Beathard (shoulder) practiced in full.

From TheHuddle

Jan 3 9:40pm ET

Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Zay Jones (knee/hamstring) was limited in practice on Wednesday ahead of his team's Week 18 matchup against the Tennessee Titans. Jones is dealing with a pair of injuries, one to his knee and another to his hamstring, as he looks to return from a two-game absence. The Jaguars could use his services as they still have a chance to win their division heading into the final game of the regular season. Jones has only appeared in nine of a possible 17 games in 2023 thanks to a variety of ailments throughout the season. Rookie Parker Washington would continue to see extra playing time if Jones can't suit up.

Jan 3 7:13pm ET

Jacksonville Jaguars WR Zay Jones (hamstring, knee) was limited during practice Wednesday, Jan. 3.

Fantasy Spin: Jones has missed the last few games because of the injuries, and his status for Week 18 is uncertain at this time. He will see a few targets if he plays but can be avoided in most leagues.

From TheHuddle

Jan 1 2:10pm ET

Jacksonville Jaguars head coach Doug Pederson said he would expect wide receiver Zay Jones (hamstring, knee) to "potentially" get in more practice time this week and potentially play in the Week 18 regular season finale against the Tennessee Titans. Jones was limited all of last week in practice and eventually was held out of the Week 17 win over the Carolina Panthers for the second straight game. The 28-year-old has missed a whopping eight games this year due to injuries, but if he does end up suiting up and quarterback Trevor Lawrence (shoulder) also makes it back for a must-win game against the Titans, Jones could have some deep-league flex appeal in Week 18. When healthy, Jones should return to his role as the No. 2 behind Calvin Ridley with Christian Kirk (core) done for the year. In Weeks 13-15, Jones drew 30 targets and had 15 catches for 166 yards.

From RotoBaller

Dec 31 12:20pm ET

Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Zay Jones (hamstring, knee), who was listed as questionable coming into Sunday, is officially inactive for the Week 17 battle against the visiting Carolina Panthers. This will be Jones' eighth missed game of the year due to injuries, mostly a knee ailment. The Jags will also be without starting quarterback Trevor Lawrence (shoulder) for the first time in his career, so Jacksonville's offense is going to have a lot less upside against Carolina. They could choose to lean heavily on running back Travis Etienne Jr. to take pressure off backup QB C.J. Beathard if game script allows. With Jones out again, rookie Parker Washington and Jamal Agnew should see bigger roles behind Calvin Ridley and tight end Evan Engram. It remains to be seen if Jones will be feeling better in order to play in the Week 18 regular season finale against the Tennessee Titans.

Dec 29 5:43pm ET

Jacksonville Jaguars WR Zay Jones (hamstring, knee) was limited during practice Friday, Dec. 29, and is listed as questionable for Week 17.

Fantasy Spin: Jones has been dealing with various injuries during the last several weeks but seems to have a decent chance to play this week. He will be working with a new quarterback if he is active and probably can be avoided in most leagues.

From TheHuddle

Dec 29 4:30pm ET

Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Zay Jones (knee, hamstring) was limited in practice all week long and is officially questionable to play against the Carolina Panthers on Sunday. The 28-year-old has seen increased volume ever since Christian Kirk (core) was placed on injured reserve. Over that three-game span, Jones has 30 targets, 15 catches, and 166 yards. Fantasy managers should view him as a fine WR3/FLEX option in deeper leagues, though his value could take a hit with C.J. Beathard starting in place of Trevor Lawrence (right shoulder).

From RotoBaller

Dec 28 6:13pm ET

Jacksonville Jaguars WR Zay Jones (hamstring, knee) was limited during practice Thursday, Dec. 28.

Fantasy Spin: Jones seems to have a chance to play in the Week 17 game, but fantasy players will need to keep an eye on the situation over the next few days. He has not posted great numbers this season and can be avoided if better options are available.

From TheHuddle

Dec 28 4:50pm ET

Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Zay Jones (hamstring, knee) was limited in practice for the second straight day on Thursday. Jones missed the Week 16 loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers due to a hamstring injury he suffered the week prior, but he could have a chance to return for a must-win game this Sunday against the Carolina Panthers at home. For what it's worth, the Jaguars are optimistic that the 28-year-old will be able to play in Week 17. In three games since Christian Kirk (core) went down with a season-ending injury, Jones has seen more involvement in the passing game, catching 15 of 30 targets for 166 yards and no touchdowns. He's going to need to be more efficient with his opportunities, but Jones will at least be in consideration for a flex spot in deeper fantasy leagues this weekend if he returns to action, although only if quarterback Trevor Lawrence (shoulder) plays as well.
