The Las Vegas Raiders restructured wide receiver Jakobi Meyers' contract on Friday to create $4.125 million in salary cap space for 2024. Meyers joined the Raiders in free agency last offseason and signed a three-year, $33 million deal. He immediately paid off for the Raiders as the No. 2 behind All-Pro Davante Adams, as Meyers finished his first year in Sin City with 71 receptions on 106 targets for 807 yards and a career-high eight touchdowns in 16 starts. The 27-year-old pass-catcher has now gone over 800 receiving yards in each of the last three seasons, although keeping that trend alive could be more difficult in 2024 with the Raiders potentially using a rookie signal-caller under center for much of the year. Still, he should at least be in play as a WR3/flex option on a weekly basis with a solid target floor.

Jan 7 7:50pm ET

Las Vegas Raiders wide receiver Jakobi Meyers was second on the team in receiving yards in the win against the Denver Broncos. Meyers brought in three catches for 61 yards and a touchdown on five targets in the team's season finale. Meyers also found the endzone on the ground, rushing for five yards on his score. Meyers was not the most reliable fantasy option since the Raiders made front-office and quarterback changes, but he salvaged his day with touchdowns again. It is tough to predict Meyers' fantasy value heading into next season. Still, if Aidan O'Connell remains the team's starting quarterback, hopefully, the duo can build their chemistry from their time together this season.

Jan 7 3:00am ET

Las Vegas Raiders wide receiver Jakobi Meyers put together a decent performance against the Indianapolis Colts in Week 17. Meyers caught six passes for 56 yards on 10 targets last week. The Raiders take on the Denver Broncos this week for the final game of the regular season. The Broncos defense is much improved from the unit that started the season, and the team has allowed the 10th-fewest fantasy points to wide receivers per game. Despite the tough matchup, Meyers may see increased usage due to Pro Bowl corner Patrick Surtain II. Surtain will likely cover Davante Adams for most of the game, which could free up targets for Meyers in the middle of the field. Fantasy managers in the championship probably did it without Meyers, but he could be a sneaky start if you're desperate.

Dec 31 4:20pm ET

Las Vegas Raiders wide receiver Jakobi Meyers was second on the team in receptions and receiving yards in the loss to the Indianapolis Colts. Meyers brought in six catches on 10 targets for 56 yards. Meyers once again played second fiddle to fellow wide receiver Davante Adams but still managed to put up a decent stat line in the loss. The Raiders take on the Denver Broncos in Week 18. With Adams likely to draw the coverage of Broncos corner Patrick Surtain II, Meyers may find himself more open next week. Despite the neutral matchup, Meyers' fantasy production has been inconsistent since Aidan O'Connell took the starting quarterback job. Fantasy managers should continue to look elsewhere for starting options at the wide receiver position.

Dec 30 2:50am ET

Las Vegas Raiders wide receiver Jakobi Meyers caught three of his five targets for 42 yards in Week 16 against the Kansas City Chiefs. Meyers had another unexciting stat line, which has been the story of his season since the Raiders made front-office and quarterback changes. The fantasy value of Meyers is coming almost exclusively from touchdowns, but his reliability as a touchdown scorer is not trustworthy. The Raiders take on the Indianapolis Colts in Week 17. The Colts are tougher against the pass than the run, so teams typically utilize their run game against the Indianapolis defense. Fantasy managers should not put their faith in Meyers for championship week.

From RotoBaller

Dec 26 4:00am ET

Las Vegas Raiders wide receiver Jakobi Meyers led the team in receptions and receiving yards in the win against the Kansas City Chiefs. Meyers reeled in three of his five targets for 42 yards. The Raiders offense generated almost nothing through the air, and Meyers accounted for 68% of the team's passing yardage in this contest. The game's real story was the contribution of the Las Vegas defense, which scored two touchdowns in about seven seconds of game time. The run game headed by Zamir White was also dominant. White generated 145 yards on the ground, all on his own. The Raiders take on the Indianapolis Colts in Week 17. The Colts are tougher against the pass than the rush, so it could be another pedestrian afternoon for Meyers next week. Fantasy managers should look elsewhere for pass-catchers because the Raiders offense is too inconsistent to trust in the fantasy playoffs.

Dec 24 12:20am ET

Las Vegas Raiders wide receiver Jakobi Meyers caught two of his four targets for 32 yards and a touchdown in Week 15 against the Los Angeles Chargers. Meyers also threw a touchdown pass to fellow receiver Davante Adams in the contest. Despite the Raiders historic offensive performance, Meyers was held under 50 receiving yards for the sixth time in the last seven games. Meyers has been a touchdown-dependent flex since the Raiders moved on from quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo. The Raiders take on the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 16. The Chiefs defense is better against the pass than the run, so Meyers could continue to struggle in this matchup. Fantasy managers should look elsewhere for fantasy production.

Dec 15 6:30am ET

Las Vegas Raiders wide receiver Jakobi Meyers caught two of his four targets for 32 yards and a touchdown in a blowout win against the Los Angeles Chargers. Meyers also completed two pass attempts for 12 yards and a passing touchdown to Davante Adams. The Raiders were able to impose their will on offense against the Chargers, scoring 63 points against the Los Angeles team. Although his target total was not eye-popping, Meyers continued to be involved in the Raiders passing attack. The Raiders take on the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 16. With fellow receiver Adams likely drawing the coverage of L'Jarius Sneed, Meyers could have a decent performance playing from the slot. Despite the excellent performance on Thursday night, fantasy managers may need to look elsewhere for wide receiver production because Meyer's fantasy outputs have been inconsistent with Aidan O'Connell behind center this season.

From RotoBaller

Dec 14 2:50am ET

Las Vegas Raiders wide receiver Jakobi Meyers caught five of his six targets for 25 yards in Week 14 against the Minnesota Vikings. Meyers has at least five targets in the last three games and is firmly entrenched in the Raiders passing attack. With Josh Jacobs and Davante Adams listed as questionable this week, Meyers could find himself atop the pecking order. Meyers will face the Los Angeles Chargers in Week 15. The Chargers defense has been an easy matchup for wide receivers this season and Meyers could put up a decent performance if he is the WR1 in this contest. Based on the uncertainty of his teammates and the juicy matchup, fantasy managers should consider starting Meyers this week.

From RotoBaller

Dec 10 12:20am ET

Las Vegas Raiders wide receiver Jakobi Meyers caught six of his seven targets for 79 yards and a touchdown in Week 12 against the Kansas City Chiefs. Meyers finished the game with his most receiving yards since Week 3. Since the coaching and quarterback changes, Meyers has become a secondary option in the Raiders passing attack, but he found success before the team's bye week. Meyers will face the Minnesota Vikings in Week 14. The Vikings defense is much better against the run than the pass, so Meyers could be in for another strong performance. Based on his recent production, Meyers should still be considered a WR3/flex play, but fantasy managers can feel optimistic about him moving forward.

From RotoBaller

Nov 26 7:40pm ET

Las Vegas Raiders wide receiver Jakobi Meyers caught six of his seven targets for 79 yards and a touchdown in the loss to the Kansas City Chiefs. With rookie quarterback Aidan O'Connell remaining the starter, Meyers accrued the most receiving yards on the team and was tied with Davante Adams for the most targets. Meyers out-performed Adams in this contest, as L'Jarius Sneed shadowed the latter. Meyers and the Raiders have a bye in Week 13 but will face the Minnesota Vikings in Week 14. Meyers' performance is encouraging, and he should continue to be considered a borderline WR2 moving forward.

From RotoBaller

Nov 26 1:00am ET

Las Vegas Raiders wide receiver Jakobi Meyers caught four of his five targets for 49 yards last week against the Miami Dolphins, including a 23-yard catch and run. Meyers finished the game with his best stat line since Week 7. Since the coaching and quarterback changes, Meyers has become a secondary option in the Raiders passing attack. Meyers will face the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 12. The Chiefs defense is much improved, but there is reason for optimism in this matchup. With Davante Adams likely to draw shadow corner L'Jarius Sneed, Meyers could see production as the second read in the offense. Based on his recent production, Meyers should be considered a WR3 against the Chiefs, and fantasy managers may need to look elsewhere this week.

From RotoBaller

Nov 19 5:20pm ET

Las Vegas Raiders wide receiver Jakobi Meyers caught four of his five targets for 49 yards in the loss to the Miami Dolphins. With rookie quarterback Aidan O'Connell remaining the starter, Meyers accrued the second-most receiving yards on the team despite being guarded by Jalen Ramsey. The Raiders wide receiver was often out-performing Davante Adams earlier in the season, but that has shifted with the benching of Jimmy Garoppolo. Meyers will face the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 12. The Chiefs secondary is among the most improved in the league, and this should be a tough matchup for the Raiders WR2. Meyers should continue to be considered a low-end WR2/flex play this week against the Chiefs.

From RotoBaller

Nov 19 1:30am ET

Las Vegas Raiders wide receiver Jakobi Meyers caught both of his targets for 21 yards last week against the New York Jets. The Jets are a tough matchup for wide receivers, but Meyers has failed to catch more than three passes in the last three games. With rookie quarterback Aidan O'Connell remaining the starter, Meyers' production will not be as consistent as it was with Jimmy Garoppolo. Meyers will face the Miami Dolphins in Week 11. The Dolphin's defense has been decent against the pass, but Meyers should be more involved in a game the Raiders should be trailing in. Considering his concerning usage, Meyers should be regarded as a low-end WR2/flex play against the Dolphins.

From RotoBaller

Nov 12 12:40am ET

Las Vegas Raiders wide receiver Jakobi Meyers continued to perform despite the Raiders making a quarterback change. With rookie quarterback Aidan O'Connell behind center, Meyers has two catches on five targets for 38 yards and a 17-yard rushing touchdown. Meyers will follow up his solid performance with a matchup against the New York Jets in Week 10. The Jets defense has been one of the toughest matchups for wide receivers this season, but Meyers' involvement in the passing attack makes him a dependable option nearly every week. Based on his ability to produce fantasy points, fantasy managers will have a tough time benching Meyers in this contest.

From RotoBaller

Nov 5 7:50pm ET

Las Vegas Raiders wide receiver Jakobi Meyers had two catches on five targets for 38 yards in the Week 9 win against the New York Giants. Meyers had no trouble finding success with rookie quarterback Aidan O'Connell behind center, as he ran in a touchdown early in the first quarter. Meyers did not have a fantastic performance due to the blowout, but fantasy managers should be excited for the improved Raiders offense moving forward. The Raiders will face the New York Jets in Week 10. The Jets have been one of the better defenses against wide receivers, but Meyers has proven his ability to produce. Fantasy managers should still start Meyers in their lineups every week based on his production this season.

From RotoBaller

Nov 5 12:50am ET

Las Vegas Raiders wide receiver Jakobi Meyers had a poor performance, with one catch for 19 yards against the Detroit Lions. Meyers will follow up his weak performance with a matchup against the New York Giants in Week 9. The Giants defense has been a neutral matchup for wide receivers this season. With the Raiders moving on from Jimmy Garoppolo, fantasy managers will want to watch what the change means for Meyers' value. Rookie quarterback Aidan O'Connell will be the starter moving forward. The last time O'Connell started a game, Meyers had two catches on four targets for 33 yards. Meyers should continue to be a high-end WR, but fantasy managers should temper expectations with Garoppolo gone.

From RotoBaller

Oct 31 12:50am ET

Las Vegas Raiders wide receiver Jakobi Meyers caught his only target for 19 yards in the Week 8 loss to the Detroit Lions. Meyers had no catches in the first half, nor did Davante Adams or Michael Mayer. The Raiders offense has been among the worst all season, but Meyers has usually been able to produce for fantasy. This week was a disaster for the entire Raiders offense, and it is difficult to predict much improvement in the future. The Raiders will face the New York Giants in Week 9. The Giants have been a better defense of late, but they are still middle of the pack against wide receivers in terms of fantasy points allowed. Fantasy managers should still start Meyers in their lineups every week based on his production this season.

From RotoBaller

Oct 22 4:30pm ET

Las Vegas Raiders wide receiver Jakobi Meyers had seven receptions for 50 yards and a touchdown on 13 targets in the Week 7 loss to the Chicago Bears. Meyers salvaged his day with a touchdown in garbage time, but it was ugly for most of the game. With Brian Hoyer filling in at quarterback, the Raiders offense was ineffective. The Raiders did not score a touchdown until the rookie quarterback Aidan O'Connell entered the game in the fourth quarter. Meyers will face the Detroit Lions in Week 8. The Lions are a tougher matchup for running backs than wide receivers, so Meyers could be in for another decent game. Based on his production this season, fantasy managers should continue to lock Meyers into their weekly lineups.

From RotoBaller

Oct 21 1:40am ET

Las Vegas Raiders wide receiver Jakobi Meyers had yet another strong performance in the Week 6 win against the New England Patriots. Meyers finished the game with five catches on seven targets for 61 yards and a touchdown against his former team. Meyers developed a rapport with Garoppolo but will be without his teammate in Week 7. Garoppolo left the game in the second half with a back injury and has been ruled out for Sunday's contest. Veteran quarterback Brian Hoyer will step into the starting role for the Raiders. It remains to be seen what this quarterback change will mean for Meyer's value since he had his worst game of the season when Garoppolo was ruled out with a concussion in Week 4. Meyers saw a season-low two catches on four targets for 33 yards when Raiders rookie Aidan O'Connell took over for Garoppolo. Meyers will face off against the Chicago Bears this Sunday. The Bears are one of the most favorable matchups for wide receivers, so Meyers will still likely have a good game. Fantasy managers should be excited to start Meyers as a high-end WR2 against the Bears in Week 7 but should temper expectations without Garoppolo throwing him passes.
