Kansas City's QB Patrick Mahomes passed for 378 yards on 33-of-44 with three touchdowns in Sunday's win against the Bills. It was Mahomes's 2nd consecutive 300+ yard passing game. He has averaged 391 yards passing in those games.

Jan 23 10:20pm ET

Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes led his squad back to the AFC Championship Game with a victory over the Bills on Sunday that saw the signal caller sling three passing touchdowns, in addition to adding a rushing score. Arguably Mahomes' most impressive moment came with just 13 seconds remaining in regulation, when he got his team into field-goal range, thereby forcing overtime. Mahomes finished 33-for-44 through the air, slicing the elite Bills defense for 378 passing yards. If being the game's preeminent pass maestro wasn't difficult enough to gameplan, Mahomes also led Kansas City's ground attack with a season-high 69 rushing yards. He next squares off with a Bengals defense that he dropped 259 passing yards and two touchdowns on back in Week 17. He remains the premier DFS threat on any slate due to his propensity for finding the end zone.

The Denver Broncos defense/special teams should be avoided to close out their season in Week 18 against the Kansas City Chiefs on Saturday. Not only is this a bad matchup against a strong offense, but the Broncos D will be missing key personnel to slow down Patrick Mahomes and Company. Head coach Vic Fangio announced Thursday that starting cornerbacks Patrick Surtain II (calf) and Ronald Darby (shoulder) will not play Saturday. Starting safety Kareem Jackson (back) went on Injured Reserve earlier this week. In addition, starting defensive end Shelby Harris and cornerback Nate Hairston are questionable to play with illnesses. Denver ranks third with 18.4 points allowed this year and gave up just 22 points to the Chiefs in their first meeting, but with their secondary compromised, they could be in for a second straight rough week.

Jan 6 12:00pm ET

Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes has thrown 10 touchdowns and one interception over his last four games. He has a plus matchup against the Denver Broncos on Saturday, who are 20th in pass DVOA. The 26-year-old didn't play well in his last appearance against Denver, throwing for 184 yards and a pick in his previous game against them. Kansas City has to beat Denver and will need the Titans to lose to Houston to have a shot at the No.1 seed. Mahomes is the most expensive quarterback on FanDuel with an $8,500 price tag and should be a popular option in Saturday's two-game slate.

Jan 2 11:03pm ET

Kansas City Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes completed 26 of 35 attempts for 259 yards, two touchdowns and no interceptions at the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 17 on Sunday, Jan. 2. He ran twice for 25 yards and wasn't sacked.

Fantasy Spin: KC heads to Denver in Week 18, and Mahomes remains a must-start in playoff fantasy action. He rushed for a TD vs. Denver in Week 13, which was the only bright spot of his 16.4-point fantasy day.

From TheHuddle

Jan 2 4:50pm ET

Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes completed another game without a turnover in a Week 17 loss versus the Cincinnati Bengals. Despite the loss in one of the better games of the season, Mahomes was 26-for-35 for 259 yards and a pair of touchdowns. His first touchdown was on a 29-yard pass to Demarcus Robinson and his second would be on a three-yard toss to tight Travis Kelce. He also picked up 25 yards on the ground. Mahomes and the Chiefs offense has been rolling of late and although he failed to go for over 300 yards for third time in his last four games, he has still been doing enough to help managers. Mahomes will close the regular season in a tough matchup versus the Denver Broncos in Week 18.

From RotoBaller

Dec 31 12:40pm ET

Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes has been catching fire for managers at the right time and he will look to continue that success against the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 17. The Bengals have been in the middle of the pact of against the quarterback position this year allowing 270 yards per game to the position with 22 touchdowns and 12 interceptions on the season. From a fantasy perspective Mahomes has heated up at the right time and has passed for 926 yards with eight touchdowns and one interception. Going up against another hot quarterback in Joe Burrow, this could be one of the higher scoring contests in Week 17. Managers should have confidence starting Mahomes as a QB1 on Sunday.

From RotoBaller

Dec 26 10:53pm ET

Kansas City Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes completed 23 of his 30 passes for 258 yards and three touchdowns in a 36-10 win over the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 16.

Fantasy Spin: Don't look now, but Mahomes has tossed eight touchdowns compared to just one interception over the last three games, and he and the Kansas City offense appear to be peaking down the stretch.

From TheHuddle

Dec 24 8:50am ET

Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes has had a rough season and his Week 16 matchup versus the Pittsburgh Steelers doesn't present the most appetizing matchup on paper. The Steelers have limited quarterbacks to just 242 yards and a little over one touchdown per game with nine interceptions on the season. Mahomes just hasn't been what managers expected this season and has thrown for 4052 yards with 30 touchdowns and 13 interceptions. Already a tough opponent to deal with, Mahomes' top two options, wide receiver Tyreek Hill (COVID-19) and tight end Travis Kelce (COVID-19) are both currently on the reserve/COVID-19 list. Hill and Kelce still have a chance to suit up on Sunday, but missing one or both would be a major downgrade for Mahomes and the Chiefs offense. Regardless, managers have made it this far with Mahomes and shouldn't consider benching the QB1 in Week 16.

Dec 18 3:30pm ET

Chiefs' QB Patrick Mahomes passed for a monster 410 yards on 31-of-47 with three touchdowns in Thursday's win in Los Angeles Chargers.

Dec 17 12:33am ET

Kansas City Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes completed 31 of 47 passes for 410 yards, 3 TDs and 1 INT against the Los Angeles Charges on Thursday, Dec. 16. Mahomes also ran three times for 32 yards.

Fantasy Spin: Whatever the rest of the NFL has figured out about defending the Chiefs continues to elude the rest of the AFC West. Over his last 10 games, Mahomes has averaged 315 yards passing, 2.5 TDs and 0.5 INTs per game in four contests against the Chargers, Raiders and Broncos; in the six non-division starts, those numbers are 263 yards, 1 TD and 1.2 INTs. Until we see the Chiefs do this against a decent defense it's best to retain a healthy skepticism, but Mahomes should be a QB1 against Pittsburgh in Week 16.

From TheHuddle

Dec 16 11:50pm ET

Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes went 31-for-47 with 410 yards, three touchdowns, one interception and a fumble in a thrilling Week 15 overtime victory versus the Los Angeles Chargers. He also chipped in on the ground for 32 yards. The former MVP looked very shaky on the evening with some errant throws, but got hot in the fourth quarter with a two touchdown passes. He would carry that momentum into overtime with a game winning 34-yard touchdown pass to tight end Travis Kelce to secure the Chiefs victory. Despite his good numbers on paper, Mahomes still doesn't look like himself this season, but he did enough to help managers in Week 15. Mahomes will now have plenty of time to prepare for a Week 16 matchup against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
