Los Angeles Rams TE Tyler Higbee (knee) said the Rams plans to bring him along slowly, 'knowing we have some time before the season.'

Fantasy Spin: Higbee can have an occasional solid game, but Cooper Kupp has become the clear focal point of the Los Angeles passing attack now that Matthew Stafford is under center. Assuming his recovery remains on track, Higbee can be a matchup-based streaming option, but he isn't an every-week play.

Los Angeles Rams tight end Tyler Higbee (knee) continued on-field football activity during organized team activities this week after ramping up his rehab process throughout the spring. Higbee had knee surgery after the Super Bowl. Hybrid tight end/wide receiver Jacob Harris (knee) worked on the sideline for the first time in practice open to the media this week after tearing his ACL last year. He looked fluid and explosive, even running at partial speed in straight-line sprint drills. Barring setbacks, Higbee and Harris should be ready for training camp and the regular season. With plenty of weapons around him, Higbee will continue to be a low-end, touchdown-dependent TE1 for fantasy managers in 2022.

Los Angeles Rams tight end Tyler Higbee (knee), who did have surgery on his knee, said he's in a good place now and is progressing in his rehab. Higbee was able to start on-field work a couple of weeks ago, but the Rams won't rush him to get back to full speed at this time of the year. The 29-year-old suffered a sprained MCL in the NFC Championship game against the San Francisco 49ers and wasn't able to play in the Super Bowl against the Cincinnati Bengals. The Rams are being smart with him right now, and he should be good to go by Week 1, barring any setbacks. Higbee finished last year with 61 receptions on 85 targets for 560 yards and five touchdowns and should once again be a low-end TE1 for fantasy managers in 2022.

Los Angeles Rams TE Tyler Higbee (knee) started on-field work a couple of weeks ago after undergoing offseason surgery on the knee injury he suffered in the NFC Championship Game, according to Jourdan Rodrigue of The Athletic.

Los Angeles Rams TE Tyler Higbee was placed on the Reserve/Injured list Friday, Feb. 11.

Fantasy Spin: Higbee was not able to recover his injury in two weeks, so he will miss Super Bowl LVI. Kendall Blanton likely will be the starting tight end for the Rams this week but probably will not be a big part of the passing game.

From TheHuddle

Feb 11 4:10pm ET

The Los Angeles Rams placed tight end Tyler Higbee (knee) and offensive tackle Joseph Noteboom (chest) on Injured Reserve on Friday, so they will both be out for the Super Bowl on Sunday against the Cincinnati Bengals. Higbee sprained his MCL in the NFC Championship win over the San Francisco 49ers, and head coach Sean McVay said earlier this week that it was unlikely that Higbee would be available for the big game. With the 29-year-old officially out, Kendall Blanton will need to step up as LA's primary pass-catching tight end against the Bengals. Blanton caught all five of his targets for 57 yards in the NFC Championship while playing 79% of the offensive snaps, so he could be a sleeper against Cincinnati.

Feb 10 7:30pm ET

Los Angeles Rams tight end Tyler Higbee (knee) was unable to suit up for Thursday's practice session, further elevating concern that he may not return in time for Sunday's Super Bowl LVI. Higbee departed the NFL Championship Game early due to the knee ailment and has been sidelined since, paving the way for Kendall Blanton to serve as the team's primary tight end. Higbee has developed a solid rapport with Matthew Stafford, having hauled in multiple receptions in each of his past seven outings. At this stage, even if Higbee is able to play vs. Cincinnati, he would likely be limited in some capacity, complicating his DFS status. Fantasy managers will want to stay abreast of Higbee's practice output over the coming days as Blanton's DFS appeal would skyrocket if Higbee is ultimately held out.

Los Angeles Rams TE Tyler Higbee (knee) did not participate in practice Thursday, Feb. 10. OT Joseph Noteboom (chest) was limited during practice. RB Cam Akers (shoulder), CB Grant Haley (quadriceps), WR Van Jefferson (knee), CB Jalen Ramsey (shoulder), S Taylor Rapp (concussion), LB Christian Rozeboom (elbow) and OT Andrew Whitworth (quadriceps) fully participated in practice.

Los Angeles Rams tight end Tyler Higbee (knee) did not take part in practice on Wednesday. Higbee hasn't practiced since he sprained his MCL in the NFC Championship win over the San Francisco 49ers on Jan. 30. He'll have two more chances to get on the practice field to close out the week, but Higbee's chances aren't looking very great to play in the Super Bowl this Sunday against the Cincinnati Bengals. Kendall Blanton would be LA's primary pass-catching tight end this weekend if Higbee is limited or cannot play at all. Blanton had four catches for 37 yards on seven targets in 11 regular season games, but he stepped up to haul in all five of his targets for 57 yards in the NFC Championship, and he even scored his lone touchdown of the year in the Divisional Round against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

From TheHuddle

Feb 7 7:40pm ET

Los Angeles Rams tight end Tyler Higbee (knee) is not expected to suit up for any of the team's practices early in the week ahead of Super Bowl LVI on Sunday. Higbee injured his knee during the NFL Championship Game, hauling in two receptions for 18 yards prior to his departure. Kendall Blanton emerged in place of Higbee and brought in five catches for 57 yards in his own right, a role that he would be likely to reprise for the big game if Higbee is ultimately held out. A vital member of L.A.'s offense, Higbee tied his career high in 2021 by bringing down five touchdown catches across 15 games. Managers eyeing him in DFS will want to check back later in the week to see if he is able to return to the practice field in some capacity.

From RotoBaller

Feb 7 6:33pm ET

Los Angeles Rams TE Tyler Higbee (knee) is considered day-to-day because of his knee injury and probably will not practice early in the week.

Fantasy Spin: Higbee probably can play in Super Bowl LVI even if he does not practice much this week. He will see a handful of targets if he plays and can be a No. 1 fantasy tight end.

From TheHuddle

Feb 4 8:30pm ET

Los Angeles Rams tight end Tyler Higbee (knee) missed practice for the third straight day this week on Friday. If the Rams were playing this Sunday, Higbee would be listed as doubtful. Thankfully, the Rams won't face the Cincinnati Bengals in the Super Bowl until next Sunday, so Higbee will have another week to heal. The 29-year-old suffered a sprained MCL in the NFC Championship win over the San Francisco 49ers, and he'll have a chance to play in the big game. Because of his injury, Higbee will be a shaky fantasy option in the Super Bowl. Even if he's active, backup Kendall Blanton, who caught five passes after Higbee left with his injury last week, could have a bigger role in LA's passing game against Cincinnati.

Feb 4 5:23pm ET

Los Angeles Rams OT Joseph Noteboom (chest) and TE Tyler Higbee (knee) did not participate in practice Friday, Feb. 4, and are currently listed as doubtful for Super Bowl LVI. RB Cam Akers (shoulder), CB Grant Haley (quadriceps), WR Van Jefferson (knee), CB Jalen Ramsey (shoulder) and OT Andrew Whitworth (quadriceps) did not practice and are currently listed as questionable. LB Christian Rozeboom (elbow) fully participated in practice but is currently listed as questionable. S Taylor Rapp (concussion) fully participated in practice and is not on the injury report.

From TheHuddle

Feb 3 7:40pm ET

Los Angeles Rams tight end Tyler Higbee (knee) was held out of Thursday's practice. He suffered a sprained MCL during the NFC Championship game and hasn't practiced since then. To be fair, the Super Bowl is 10 days away, so Higbee has plenty of time to prepare and get back on the field. The Rams are calling Higbee's status day-to-day, so there shouldn't be too much concern. However, the organization will likely wait until next week sometime to give more information on his injury status. Kendall Blanton would be the primary tight end if Higbee does end up missing the Super Bowl.

Los Angeles Rams RB Cam Akers (shoulder), CB Grant Haley (quadriceps), TE Tyler Higbee (knee) and OT Joseph Noteboom (chest) did not participate in practice Friday, Feb. 3. WR Van Jefferson (knee), S Taylor Rapp (concussion) and LB Christian Rozeboom (elbow) were limited during practice.

From TheHuddle

Feb 3 9:50am ET

Los Angeles Rams tight end Tyler Higbee (knee) was listed as a non-participant on Wednesday's estimated injury report. He suffered a sprained MCL in the NFC Championship Game win over the San Francisco 49ers. The 29-year-old caught two passes for 18 yards before exiting. He has a chance to be ready for the Super Bowl in two weeks against the Cincinnati Bengals. Higbee will look to practice somehow, but the tight end's status for the Super Bowl probably won't be known until next week. If Higbee cannot suit up, Kendall Blanton would be the Rams' primary tight end.

Los Angeles Rams OT Joseph Noteboom (chest), RB Cam Akers (shoulder), LB Christian Rozeboom (elbow), TE Tyler Higbee (knee) and S Grant Haley (quadriceps) did not participate in practice Wednesday, Feb. 2. S Taylor Rapp (concussion) and WR Van Jefferson (knee) were limited during practice. The Rams did not hold a practice Wednesday, so the practice report is an estimation.

From TheHuddle

Jan 31 8:23pm ET

Los Angeles Rams TE Tyler Higbee (knee) suffered a sprained medial collateral ligament during the NFC Championship game and is considered day-to-day.

Fantasy Spin: Higbee has two weeks to recover from the injury but probably will not do much during practice leading up to Super Bowl. He has been a reliable part of the passing game this season and can be a starting fantasy option if he plays.
