Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Rashod Bateman registered the best season of his career and capped it off with another touchdown in the loss to the Buffalo Bills on Sunday. The fourth-year wideout out of Minnesota finished the game with four receptions on five targets for 66 yards and a touchdown which brought his total to 11 touchdowns between the regular and postseason. Most of his damage came in the first half along with his 16-yard catch that kicked off all of the scoring in the opening drive. Bateman still has another year left on his contract, so he's likely looking at more of the same role going into the 2025 season.

Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Rashod Bateman scored his first career postseason touchdown in the big win over the Pittsburgh Steelers during the Wild Card round. It's likely going to be a bit more difficult against the Buffalo Bills as they roll into freezing cold weather with a chance of a bit of snow. Derrick Henry and company dominated in Week 4 while Bateman saw just one target and caught it for 23 yards. That seems to be all Bateman needs, however, as he had two catches for 24 yards and the touchdown last week. With Zay Flowers (knee) listed as doubtful, Bateman could serve as the outlet outside of the backfield and tight ends.

Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Rashod Bateman came into Saturday's Wild Card game as the number-one receiver with Zay Flowers (knee) inactive and got in on the scoring action to help beat the Pittsburgh Steelers. In his third career postseason game, Bateman finished with two catches for 24 yards and a touchdown on two targets. His 15-yard touchdown started off all of the scoring in the first quarter when Lamar Jackson found him going over the middle in the end zone. That was also Bateman's first postseason touchdown in his four-year career. He'll look to find the end zone again in the divisional round against either the Buffalo Bills or Houston Texans.

Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Rashod Bateman steps into the top receiver role with Zay Flowers (knee) getting ruled out for the opening playoff matchup against the Pittsburgh Steelers. While Bateman did score against the Steelers in their last outing, he has only posted 44 total yards and three receptions on eight targets. He'll likely play a bigger role in the offense rather than serve as a deep threat while both tight ends will play important parts as well. Bateman always carries big play ability, but the Steelers' corners are good in coverage which makes him more of an intriguing option in bigger DFS tournaments rather than cash games.

Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Rashod Bateman finished off the best season of his career with another touchdown as the team wrapped up the division with a win over the Cleveland Browns. The Minnesota product finished with five receptions for 76 yards and a touchdown on eight targets. After four touchdowns combined in his first three seasons, Bateman registered nine scores this season to go along with 756 yards and 45 receptions on 72 targets. Before the rest of the Week 18 games kickoff, Bateman is tied for the ninth-most receiving touchdowns in the NFL.

From RotoBaller

Jan 2 9:10pm CT

Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Rashod Bateman has been a boom-or-bust option all season long despite logging the best year of his career so far. He remains the most consistent deep threat on the team as he averages 17 yards per reception and 10.6 yards per target. The Cleveland Browns are a bit banged up and don't have any playoff aspirations, so Bateman could find his way behind the defense for another long touchdown play. His boom-or-bust nature leaves him as more of a flex play though.

Dec 24 3:30pm CT

Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Rashod Bateman has surpassed almost every career high this season except for receptions. He's even quadrupled his previous-best touchdown mark (eight this season). In the Ravens' Week 17 matchup with the Houston Texans, they'll be without Nelson Agholor (concussion) and Justice Hill (concussion), and Zay Flowers (shoulder) is considered questionable. Bateman may be the number-one wideout on the depth chart, but he'll remain the primary deep threat even if Flowers plays. The Texans allow 29.6 fantasy points per game to receivers in half-PPR formats, so Bateman has a borderline WR2 ceiling in this game.

Dec 22 6:50am CT

Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Rashod Bateman caught only one pass Saturday against the Pittsburgh Steelers, but made it count for a 14-yard touchdown. He was targeted three times in the 34-17 victory, but Baltimore heavily leaned on its running game, rushing for 220 yards. The Minnesota product was questionable with a foot injury and played through it, but wasn't involved much as the Ravens completed only 15 passes in the game. Bateman should continue to be a boom-or-bust option as Baltimore takes on the Texans in Week 17.

Dec 21 2:30pm CT

Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Rashod Bateman (foot) is officially active for Saturday's divisional tilt against the Pittsburgh Steelers. Bateman popped up on the injury report on Wednesday as a non-participant but was able to upgrade to limited participation on Thursday. He carried a questionable tag into today's game but was able to clear protocol. Last weekend, Bateman brought in three of his five targets for 80 yards and two scores. Over his past eight games, he has found the end zone five times and averaged 47.6 yards per contest. Fantasy managers should expect him to continue to operate as the No.2 wide receiver alongside Zay Flowers. Bateman should be viewed as a solid flex option in 14+ team formats and a high-upside, high-risk option in DFS facing a tough Pittsburgh secondary.

Dec 21 1:10pm CT

According to Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network, there is some optimism around Rashod Bateman's (foot) availability for Saturday afternoon's game against the Pittsburgh Steelers. Rapoport noted that despite his current foot injury that kept him sidelined for most of practice this week, if he is able to turn in a successful pregame warmup, "he should be out there." Bateman popped up on the injury report on Wednesday as a limited participant and was downgraded to a non-participant on Thursday. Last weekend, Bateman brought in three of his five targets for 80 yards and two scores. Through 14 games this season, Bateman has tallied seven touchdowns while averaging 46.7 yards per game. If he is able to suit up, he should be viewed as a decent flex option in deeper 14+ team formats.

According to Jonas Shaffer of the Baltimore Banner, wide receivers Rashod Bateman (foot) and Nelson Agholor (concussion) are listed as questionable for Saturday's divisional matchup against the Pittsburgh Steelers. Bateman popped up on the injury report on Wednesday but was downgraded to a non-participant earlier this afternoon. However, seeing him with a questionable tag keeps the door open for him to suit up, even though he may face an uphill battle. Agholor suffered a concussion last weekend during their victory over the New York Giants. He could not practice all week and will need a quick turnaround to clear the league's protocol in time for kickoff. If one of the wide receivers sits out, fantasy managers should expect Zay Flowers to see a start increase in targets as well as tight end Mark Andrews.

Dec 19 12:30pm CT

Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Rashod Bateman (foot) did not practice on Thursday due to a foot injury and was wearing a walking boot in the locker room. Bateman popped up on the Week 16 injury report on Wednesday and was listed as limited in practice. Mid-week additions to the injury report are usually bad news, and that's especially the case for Bateman after he was downgraded to a DNP on Thursday. The Ravens receiving corps could be thinned out on Saturday in a tough matchup against the division-rival Pittsburgh Steelers if both Bateman and Nelson Agholor (concussion) cannot play. Tylan Wallace and Devontez Walker could be thrust into bigger roles alongside Zay Flowers and tight ends Mark Andrews and Isaiah Likely in the passing game. The 25-year-old Bateman is in the midst of a career year in 2024, but fantasy managers could be without him in semifinal matchups this week.

Dec 19 11:50am CT

Baltimore Ravens wide receivers Rashod Bateman (foot) and Nelson Agholor (concussion) were both missing from practice on Thursday. Agholor was working on a side field but is unlikely to play on Saturday against the division-rival Pittsburgh Steelers after not practicing on Tuesday or Wednesday. Bateman, meanwhile, popped up on the Week 16 injury report on Wednesday and was listed as limited. We'll have to wait and see how the Ravens list Bateman on Thursday's final injury report, but a DNP on the final day of practice isn't a good sign for his availability this weekend. If both Bateman and Agholor are ruled out, it will mean more targets for both Zay Flowers and tight ends Mark Andrews and Isaiah Likely, with receivers Tylan Wallace and Devontez Waker seeing bigger roles in the passing game as well. Against a tough defense, quarterback Lamar Jackson's struggles against Pittsburgh could continue.

Dec 18 4:40pm CT

Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Rashod Bateman (foot) was added to Thursday's Week 16 injury report after putting in a limited practice. Bateman could now be up in the air to play on a short week this Saturday against the division-rival Pittsburgh Steelers, but we'll have a better idea of his status when the Ravens release their final injury report for the week on Thursday. The 25-year-old is having the best season of his career and is coming off a three-catch, 80-yard, two-touchdown performance in the Week 15 win over the New York Giants. With Nelson Agholor (concussion) looking unlikely to play this weekend, Bateman's status is more important for the Ravens. If he were to be inactive, Tylan Wallace and Devontez Walker would be thrust into starting roles alongside Zay Flowers. Bateman will be a touchdown-dependent WR4/flex, if active, in a tough matchup against Pittsburgh.

Dec 15 4:20pm CT

Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Rashod Bateman caught three of his five targets for 80 yards and two touchdowns during their victory over the New York Giants. Bateman exploded in the second quarter, catching a 49-yard touchdown pass and a 20-yard touchdown pass. His second score of the quarter eventually ended up serving as the game-winner. Bateman's 80 total yards paced all other Baltimore pass catchers, and five targets tied him for the second-most on the team, only behind Zay Flowers. This was a nice breakout showing for Bateman as he did not catch a pass in their previous game in Week 13 and has caught only four total passes since Week 11 coming into today's game. Bateman will look to stay hot facing a tough Pittsburgh Steelers secondary next weekend.

Dec 13 2:00pm CT

Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Rashod Bateman (knee) was removed from the injury report ahead of the Week 15 matchup against the New York Giants. Bateman suffered a knee injury in Week 13, but it sounds like it was a minor issue as he's ready to go after the bye week. He has been practicing in full this week and looks fully healthy heading into Sunday's game. He'll be a boom-or-bust flex option heading into a plus-matchup against the Giants secondary.

From RotoBaller

Dec 11 9:50pm CT

Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Rashod Bateman (knee) was a full participant in the team's first practice of the week on Wednesday. Bateman injured his knee in the Week 13 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles and had last week's bye to get his knee some extra treatment. After the week of rest and recovery, the 25-year-old pass-catcher looks good to return this weekend when the Ravens head to New York to face the Giants. The former 27th overall pick in 2021 out of Minnesota has seen more involvement this year and has 35 catches for a career-high 574 yards and a career-high five touchdowns on 55 targets in 13 games in 2024 as Baltimore's WR2 behind Zay Flowers. In a plus matchup against the Giants, Bateman should be on the fantasy map in Week 15 as a WR4/flex. Bateman enters the week as the WR42 in PPR formats.

From RotoBaller

Dec 9 2:50pm CT

Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Rashod Bateman (knee) returned to the team's unofficial practice on Monday as they come out of their bye week. Bateman played only 18 offensive snaps in the Week 13 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles due to a knee injury. The 25-year-old's injury isn't considered serious, though, so with the benefit of a Week 14 bye, he could be ready to play in Week 15 against the New York Giants. Diontae Johnson will be suspended during Week 15, so it would be Zay Flowers, Nelson Agholor and Tylan Wallace serving in three-wide sets for the Ravens if Bateman is held out this week. We'll have a better idea of Bateman's Week 15 status once the Ravens return to official practice on Wednesday. Bateman has had a much bigger role on offense in 2024 but is still averaging only 8.7 half-PPR fantasy points, which ranks him 48th among all wideouts.

Dec 2 5:50pm CT

Baltimore Ravens head coach John Harbaugh said that wide receiver Rashod Bateman (knee) has a sore knee and is getting treatment after getting injured in the Week 13 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles. "It's not a long-term thing," Harbaugh said. Bateman avoided a serious injury on Sunday, and with the Ravens going on bye this week, it sounds as though the 25-year-old will have a good shot at returning for a Week 15 tilt against the New York Giants. He played only 18 snaps on offense on Sunday before getting injured and wasn't targeted at all. Surprisingly, neither Nelson Agholor or Diontae Johnson finished with a catch -- Johnson didn't even play an offensive snap -- after Bateman got hurt. In the event that Bateman isn't available coming out of the bye week, tight ends Mark Andrews and Isaiah Likely could benefit the most in the receiving pecking order behind top wideout Zay Flowers.

From RotoBaller

Dec 1 5:50pm CT

Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Rashod Bateman (knee) won't return to Sunday's game against the Eagles. The 25-year-old entered Week 13 by catching a touchdown in two of the last three games. However, he'll finish this one without making any statistical contributions. Fortunately, the Ravens are off in Week 14, so he'll have more time to recover. But until he's back on the field, Zay Flowers and Mark Andrews should benefit the most.
