New York Giants wide receiver Jalin Hyatt didn't have a memorable rookie campaign. He finished his inaugural year with only 23 catches for 373 yards. He also failed to find the end zone. However, John Fennelly of Giants Wire believes there's reason for fantasy managers to be optimistic for various reasons. Hyatt led the team with 16.2 yards per catch. He also had no issues finding the field, appearing in 557 of the snaps on offense, the third-most out of the receiving corps behind Wan'Dale Robinson and Darius Slayton. That said, it's too early to predict Hyatt's outlook heading into next season, at least until most of the offseason activities have concluded. Yet, the 2023 No. 73 overall pick is worth adding to any dynasty roster, and his fantasy ceiling could rise even more if the Giants get stability at the quarterback position.

Jan 7 5:20pm ET

New York Giants wide receiver Jalin Hyatt (hamstring) exited during the first half of Sunday's game against the Philadelphia Eagles. At the time of his departure, he had caught one of two targets for just five yards. It was a somewhat underwhelming campaign for the rookie as he failed to emerge as a top pass-catching option. He ultimately finishes the season with 23 catches, 373 receiving yards, and zero receiving touchdowns. New York will surely add reinforcements at wide receiver this offseason, creating a lack of clarity around Hyatt's role heading into 2024.

From RotoBaller

Jan 6 11:20am ET

New York Giants wide receiver Jalin Hyatt has secured five catches in four weeks, following his first 100-yard performance in Week 12. His snap counts have remained mostly the same, if not better, as he logged a career-high 77 percent of the plays against Los Angeles. He only has himself (and inconsistent quarterback play) to blame for the lack of targets. The Eagles' secondary allows the most fantasy points to wide receivers. However, two weeks ago, Hyatt wasn't able to earn a target against this same secondary. With consistently low target numbers, the rookie can't be played in any leagues, even in a matchup where he could torch cornerbacks with his speed.

From RotoBaller

Dec 30 11:10am ET

New York Giants wide receiver Jalin Hyatt hasn't logged a catch in two weeks and didn't even earn a target in the team's loss to the Eagles in Week 16. The rookie has pulled a disappearing act since the first 100-yard performance of his career against New England in Week 12. Inconsistent quarterback play is a factor, and the Giants don't score enough (14.3 points per game) to support one wide receiver, let alone a rookie a bit further down the depth chart. Hyatt can remain on waiver wires in redraft formats and shouldn't be trusted even in the deepest of leagues against the Rams.

Dec 23 11:10am ET

New York Giants rookie wide receiver Jalin Hyatt has been a disappointment since his first 100-yard performance in Week 12. In the two following weeks, the former Biletnikoff Award winner saw six targets, catching just two of them for 13 yards. His snap counts have remained mostly the same, so inconsistent quarterback play is largely to blame. If there was ever a matchup for Hyatt to bounce back, it's Philadelphia this week. The Eagles' secondary allows the most fantasy points to wide receivers. He's still too risky of a play in all leagues, especially during the fantasy playoffs, but an above-average performance from the rookie wouldn't surprise many people.

From RotoBaller

Dec 18 2:30pm ET

New York Giants wide receiver Jalin Hyatt failed to catch any of his three targets in the Week 15 loss to the New Orleans Saints. Eight Giants players caught a pass on Sunday, but Hyatt was not one of them. The third-round rookie now has two or fewer receptions in nine games this year, so he's fallen completely off the fantasy radar. He can continue to be stashed in dynasty leagues, but he cannot be trusted even in deep redraft leagues based on his overall body of work this year. Even in a favorable matchup against the struggling Philadelphia Eagles in Week 16, keep him on the bench or waiver wire.

From RotoBaller

Dec 16 10:20am ET

New York Giants wide receiver Jalin Hyatt followed up his first 100-yard performance in Week 12 with a Week 14 dud. The rookie secured just two of his three targets for 13 yards, despite playing nearly two-thirds of the snaps. With Tommy Devito under center and a lack of experience himself, Hyatt simply can't be trusted in any fantasy football format. The third-round pick ranks outside of the top 60 at the position. He's still more than worthy of a roster spot in dynasty leagues but it appears that's all he'll be in his rookie year.

Dec 12 10:13am ET

Dynasty | Giants rookie receiver Jalin Hyatt couldn't follow-on to his week-13 performance in which he eclipsed 100 yards (109) receiving. Dynasty Analysis: On the night, Hyatt could only manage 13 yards on 2-of-3 receiving. For the season, the well-hyped rookie has produced only 343 yards on 19-of-31 receiving with no touchdowns. Given the Giants quarterback struggles in 2023, Hyatt's role and limited production could still be considered fair and with little above him on the depth chart along with another off-season of development on-tap, it's not out of the question that a bigger 2024 could result. Found as DLF's WR70, could be worth a look for speculative-minded dynasty coaches.

From Dynasty League Fantasy

Dec 9 11:30am ET

New York Giants wide receiver Jalin Hyatt is fresh off of the first 100-yard performance of his career and followed that with a bye week. Frequently, teams use the time off to better integrate their young offensive weapons that haven't fully emerged yet. Still, for fantasy football, Hyatt remains more of a stash candidate than a plug-and-play option. The Giants' passing offense still ranks as the worst in the NFL, so it's tough to trust anyone on that side of the football (outside of Saquon Barkley). Hyatt is the most exciting option of the receivers in New York but is a mid-range WR4 in the grand scheme of things.

Dynasty | Giants wide receiver Jalin Hyatt had five catches for 109 yards in the Giants win against the Patriots. Dynasty Analysis: It's hard to get too upset about a quiet rookie season from Hyatt, who has been the victim of terrible quarterback play and an offensive line that doesn't allow him to do what he does best - get over the top of the defense. Still, this was a good sign for Hyatt and hopefully the sign of something big to come. He remains a solid hold in dynasty leagues.

From Dynasty League Fantasy

Nov 26 8:10pm ET

New York Giants wide receiver Jalin Hyatt posted a career-best performance against the New England Patriots. The third-round rookie led the team in targets (6), catches (5), and receiving yards (109) to help lead the Giants to a 10-7 victory. New York only tallied 220 yards of total offense, meaning the reigning Biletnikoff Award winner accounted for nearly half of the team's yards. Hyatt's stat line will draw the attention of fantasy managers scouring the waiver wire for help at the wide receiver position, but the Giants are now heading into their bye. Hyatt is still a better roster fit in deep keeper and dynasty formats.

From RotoBaller

Nov 26 4:30pm ET

Giants' WR Jalin Hyatt had 5 receptions for 109 yards but no touchdowns in Sunday's win against the Patriots.

Nov 25 11:00am ET

New York Giants wide receiver Jalin Hyatt may get more chances to show off his speed against the Patriots with starting wideout Darius Slayton (neck) doubtful to take the field. Despite tallying just three catches for 26 yards over the last three games with Tommy Devito under center, Hyatt's speed has been a weapon that the Giants' coaching staff has been pushing to get on the field. The other deep threat at the position is the veteran Slayton, who has led the team in receiving yards in two of the last three weeks. The rookie Hyatt is still just a stash candidate in dynasty and deep redraft formats, but he could see an increased number of routes and targets against New England.

Nov 18 10:50am ET

New York Giants wide receiver Jalin Hyatt (concussion) has cleared the league's concussion protocol and will be able to play against the Washington Commanders in Week 11. It's an opportunity for the rookie to repeat or build off of one of the better performances of his young career when he played Washington the first time around. Then, he caught two passes for 75 yards. Tyrod Taylor was under center for that contest. This time, it will be undrafted rookie Tommy Devito picking up his second start. His longest completion has gone for just 34 yards. There aren't any options in the New York passing game worth rostering in redraft formats. Keep hanging on to the third-round rookie in dynasty formats, but don't let him near starting lineups.

Nov 16 8:00pm ET

New York Giants wide receivers Jalin Hyatt (concussion) and Wan'Dale Robinson (knee) were both limited in the team's practice on Thursday. Hyatt's participation carries more weight after he didn't practice on Wednesday following a concussion he suffered in the Week 10 loss to the Dallas Cowboys. Still, the 22-year-old's return to practice on Thursday doesn't guarantee he'll ultimately be cleared from the league's concussion protocol and play this Sunday against the Washington Commanders. Robinson continues to have his repetitions managed in practices following a torn ACL he suffered in 2022. Neither receiver will be a recommended flex play if they are both active with rookie quarterback Tommy Devito running the offense.

From RotoBaller

Nov 15 12:50pm ET

New York Giants rookie wide receiver Jalin Hyatt (concussion) remains in the league's concussion protocol and will not practice on Wednesday. Hyatt suffered a head injury in the second half of the Week 10 blowout loss to the Dallas Cowboys last Sunday and is now firmly in question to play this Sunday against the Washington Commanders. The 22-year-old third-rounder really only deserves to be stashed in dynasty/keeper leagues, as he's recorded only 11 catches for 214 yards and no touchdowns in New York's disastrous offense in 2023. If Hyatt doesn't get cleared to play in Week 11, it will mean more playing time for Isaiah Hodgins and possibly Sterling Shepard.

From RotoBaller

Nov 13 9:30am ET

New York Giants wide receiver Jalin Hyatt (head) is dealing with a concussion, suffered during the third quarter of the team's blowout loss to the Dallas Cowboys. The speedy rookie was targeted just once, a deep ball that ended up being intercepted. He appeared to be shaken up on that play and was subsequently ruled out later in the fourth quarter. Fantasy managers will need to monitor his status, although it's unlikely he will clear protocol prior to Sunday's game against the Washington Commanders. The Giants average the fewest points per game and have an undrafted rookie starting at quarterback for the foreseeable future. Unless it's a dynasty format, Hyatt does not need to be on fantasy football radars at all.

From RotoBaller

Nov 12 7:30pm ET

New York Giants wide receiver Jalin Hyatt (head) was ruled out of Sunday's loss to the Dallas Cowboys. The wideout suffered a concussion, finishing the game by failing to catch his only target. Hyatt, who entered Week 10 with the third-most receiving yards for the Giants, will likely appear on the injury report ahead of the Week 11 matchup with the Commanders. However, Hyatt hasn't been productive for fantasy managers, so his potential absence wouldn't benefit others within the receiving corps.

From RotoBaller

Nov 10 5:20pm ET

New York Giants wide receiver Jalin Hyatt is still looking for his breakout game in his young NFL career, but it's highly unlikely that comes against the Dallas Cowboys in Week 10. The Cowboys' secondary allows the sixth-fewest passing yards and ranks in the top five for fewest fantasy points to opposing wideouts. Plus, Hyatt will be on the receiving end of passes from undrafted rookie Tommy Devito, who is making his first career start in the NFL. Hyatt's best skill right now is his speed and the two rookies connecting on a deep ball seems like a lofty goal. The reigning Biletnikoff Award winner is only worthy of a roster spot in dynasty formats.

From RotoBaller

Nov 6 10:10am ET

New York Giants wide receiver Jalin Hyatt caught two of his five targets for 19 yards in the team's 30-6 blowout loss to the Las Vegas Raiders. The rookie's target share was tied for second on the team. Hyatt saw his snap percentage tick back up near 60 percent but the offense was a mess without a serviceable quarterback under center. Starter Daniel Jones (knee) missed Hyatt on two deep passes before suffering a major knee injury. Backup Tyrod Taylor (ribs) is already on injured reserve. That left undrafted rookie Tommy Devito to take the majority of the snaps. Whether it's DeVito or another quarterback taking snaps against Dallas in Week 10, Hyatt and the rest of the Giants' receivers can not be trusted. The 2023 third-round pick only needs to be rostered in dynasty formats.
