The Atlanta Falcons hired Los Angeles Rams passing-game coordinator Zac Robinson as their new offensive coordinator under head coach Raheem Morris on Saturday, according to sources. Robinson was one of the most popular candidates on the offensive-coordinator circuit this cycle and he was Morris' top choice. The 37-year-old had been the quarterbacks coach and pass-game coordinator for the Rams for the past two seasons. He played QB at Oklahoma State and was drafted by the New England Patriots, but he never played in a regular-season game in the NFL. The Falcons have a glaring question mark at QB heading into the 2024 season, but they also have some intriguing skill position players in running backs Bijan Robinson and Tyler Allgeier, receiver Drake London and tight ends Kyle Pitts and Jonnu Smith.

Jan 7 9:40pm ET

Atlanta Falcons running back Tyler Allgeier was not able to get much going against the New Orleans Saints on Sunday. The second-year back rushed six times for 24 yards, while hauling in all three of his targets for 10 yards through the air in the loss. Despite the Falcons drafting Bijan Robinson in the first round, Allgeier remain a consistent part of the Falcons offense. He rushed 186 times for 683 yards with four touchdowns, while adding 18 receptions for 193 yards and an additional touchdown through the air. The assumption is that the Falcons are going to stick with this two-back committee next season. That means, Allgeier will hold some flex appeal and possibly more if Robinson ever goes down with an injury in 2024.

Jan 5 9:40am ET

Atlanta Falcons running back Tyler Allgeier has taken a backseat in this offense during the second half of this season. Over the last five games, Allgeier has seen nine or less carries in four of those five contests. Rookie back Bijan Robinson has taken over as the workhorse back, which leaves Allgeier with a minimal role. That being said, it's tough to imagine Allgeier having a ton of success against the New Orleans Saints this weekend. He rushed for 64 yards on 10 carries during their last meeting. Fantasy managers can hope for similar results, but he probably won't be worth the risk.

Dec 31 8:50pm ET

Atlanta Falcons running back Tyler Allgeier was out-touched by fellow back Bijan Robinson, but was still able to make an impact during Sunday's game. Allgeier rushed the ball five times for 13 yards as the Chicago Bears defense was able to hold him in check. Luckily, he was able to somewhat salvage his fantasy value in the receiving game. Allgeier took a screen pass on the opening play of the drive for a 75-yard touchdown. Outside of that, Allgeier did basically nothing throughout this contest. He'll be a risky flex option versus the New Orleans Saints in the regular season finale.

From RotoBaller

Dec 29 10:00am ET

Atlanta Falcons running back Tyler Allgeier hasn't seen a ton of action on the ground lately. In fact, Allgeier has single digit carries in three of his last five games. It appears the Falcons have finally decided to lean on Bijan Robinson more in the running game. The Falcons haven't involved Allgeier much in the passing game, so he's pretty much a one dimensional player. That being said, Allgeier won't have strong appeal against the Chicago Bears defense. A defensive unit that has done well against the rushing attack. They struggle to contain backs in the receiving game, but Allgeier barely gets one target per game. That being said, Allgeier will be desperation deep league flex option for Week 17.

Dec 24 4:50pm ET

Atlanta Falcons running back Tyler Allgeier was able to have plenty of success on the ground during Sunday's game against the Indianapolis Colts. Allgeier rushed nine times for 69 yards and scored a touchdown in the win. It's worth noting that a majority of those yards came on a 31-yard score in the third quarter. The young back continues to split up the workload with Bijan Robinson in the backfield. There isn't going to be much streaming appeal for Allgeier on a weekly basis. He's more of a touchdown-dependent option heading into next week's matchup against the Chicago Bears.

From RotoBaller

Dec 21 7:00pm ET

Atlanta Falcons running back Tyler Allgeier saw a bulk of the carries during last week's loss to the Carolina Panthers. Oddly, Allgeier looked to be the featured back during this game. He carried the ball 14 times for 45 yards in the 9-7 loss. The former fifth-round has been splitting up the backfield duties with Bijan Robinson throughout most of the season. However, Allgeier has seen his workload take a hit lately, but saw an uptick last week. It's difficult to know what the Falcons plan to do on a weekly basis. Allgeier does have a plus matchup versus the Indianapolis Colts next week. Despite that, Allgeier isn't anything more an a touchdown-dependent option.

From RotoBaller

Dec 17 9:50pm ET

Atlanta Falcons running back Tyler Allgeier has seen a decreased role in the offense over the last few weeks. However, the young back seemed to function as the lead back for Sunday's game against the Carolina Panthers. Allgeier rushed the ball 14 times for 45 yards during the loss. Normally, Allgeier functions as the primary backup to Bijan Robinson. However, Robinson only saw seven touches in this game. It was a bad game all around for the Falcons offense. Right now, it's hard to trust either back heading into the Week 16 matchup against the Indianapolis Colts. Allgeier might hold low-end RB3 value, but it depends on what the Falcons decide to do in the backfield.

From RotoBaller

Dec 15 10:00am ET

Atlanta Falcons running back Tyler Allgeier has been limited to single digit carries in three of his last four games. The Falcons are now starting to lean on rookie back Bijan Robinson in the backfield. That means, Allgeier is having a decreased role in the rushing game and remains a non-factor in the receiving game. The Falcons do use a run-heavy offensive gameplan, but it's not enough to give Allgeier reliable value. He does have plus matchup against the Carolina Panthers, but remains a risky RB4 for Week 15.

From RotoBaller

Dec 10 10:10pm ET

Atlanta Falcons running back Tyler Allgeier saw nearly as many carries as Bijan Robinson during Sunday's game. Actually, Allgeier was more efficient on the ground with 40 yards on nine carries in the loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The difference between the two was that Robinson was able to score a touchdown and get involved in the receiving game. Allgeier continues to be the second option in this running attack. That is likely going to remain the case going forward. Fantasy managers shouldn't consider Allgeier anything more than a RB4 for the Week 15 matchup against the Carolina Panthers.

From RotoBaller

Dec 8 10:10am ET

Atlanta Falcons running back Tyler Allgeier has taken a backseat in the rushing attack over the last few weeks. In fact, Allgeier has topped 50 rushing yards once over the last five games. In those contests, Allgeier has seen double digit touches just twice. The Falcons appear committed to Bijan Robinson as the lead back in this offense. That means, Allgeier is unlikely to have a big role while Robinson is healthy. It's hard to imagine Allgeier having much success in a limited role versus the Tampa Bay Buccaneers this weekend. He'll be a touchdown-dependent option for Week 14.

From RotoBaller

Dec 3 7:50pm ET

Atlanta Falcons running back Tyler Allgeier has taken a backseat in this offense over the last few weeks. It appears the Falcons are putting more faith in Bijan Robinson, which isn't a good sign for Allgeier's fantasy value. On Sunday, Allgeier rushed eight times for 26 yards in the win over the New York Jets. The Falcons weren't able to get anything going on offense during this game. Fantasy managers shouldn't count on a bounce back effort from Allgeier next week. He'll get a tough matchup against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers solid run defense. Fantasy managers shouldn't consider Allgeier anything more than a touchdown-dependent option.

From RotoBaller

Nov 30 5:50pm ET

Atlanta Falcons running back Tyler Allgeier has seen a reduced role in the offense over the last four games. In fact, Allgeier has seen 10 or fewer carries in three of those four contests. Fellow back Bijan Robinson has been seeing a bulk of the carries and is playing extremely well right now. That being said, the Falcons are likely going to continue giving Robinson nearly 20 carries per game. That means, Allgeier is probably going to fall into RB3 or a touchdown-dependent option in fantasy formats. He does have a decent matchup against the New York Jets in Week 13, but fantasy managers shouldn't expect too much from Allgeier.

From RotoBaller

Nov 26 9:20pm ET

Atlanta Falcons running back Tyler Allgeier began the season splitting the backfield duties with rookie Bijan Robinson. However, it appears the Falcons are finally ready to let Robinson loose and he has been making the most of it. That means, Allgeier will become the No. 2 option and see a reduced role going forward. On Sunday, Allgeier rushed 10 times for 64 yards in the win over the New Orleans Saints. A majority of his carries came in the fourth quarter as the Falcons were just trying to run out the clock. He did average 6.4 yards per carry, but the volume is going to be the biggest concern going forward. Fantasy managers should consider Allgeier a touchdown-dependent RB3 heading into next week's matchup against the New York Jets.

From RotoBaller

Nov 23 9:20pm ET

Atlanta Falcons running back Tyler Allgeier has been held to 39 rushing yards or less in each of the last three games. The young back has only scored one touchdown on the ground since the season opener. He also continues to lose snaps to emerging rookie back Bijan Robinson. That being said, it's tough to imagine Allgeier being a trustworthy fantasy option for Week 12. He'll get a New Orleans Saints defense that has defended well against the run all season long. At the moment, Allgeier shouldn't be considered anything more than a low-end flex option in deep leagues.

From RotoBaller

Nov 12 10:50pm ET

Atlanta Falcons running back Tyler Allgeier was unable to get much going on the ground this week. Fellow back Bijan Robinson saw a majority of the carries, which is a bit surprising. Normally, the Falcons split up the workload almost evenly, but that wasn't the case in Week 10. Allgeier rushed nine times for 31 yards in what ended up being a loss to the Arizona Cardinals. The fact Robinson did so well on the ground could mean they continue giving him an increased role going forward. Allgeier might not be much of a flex option anymore, but that remains to be seen what they do after the bye in Week 11.

From RotoBaller

Nov 10 11:20am ET

Atlanta Falcons running back Tyler Allgeier has seen double digit carries in four of the last five games. It's worth noting that Allgeier saw a majority of the end zone carries against the Minnesota Vikings last week. He was able to find the end zone for the first time on the ground since season opener. The expectation is that Allgeier will continue getting significant carries in this offense. He's normally not a great fantasy option, but does have a favorable matchup against the Arizona Cardinals in Week 10. A defense that has allowed the fourth-most rushing yards this season. Fantasy managers should be able to count on Allgeier as a possible flex option for this upcoming game.

From RotoBaller

Nov 5 9:30pm ET

Atlanta Falcons running back Tyler Allgeier had a tough time getting anything going on the ground during the Week 9 matchup against the Minnesota Vikings. In fact, Allgeier had negative yardage on the ground until the final five minutes of the game. He finished with 39 rushing yards on 12 carries with a touchdown as well. The Falcons continue to split up the carries between Allgeier and Bijan Robinson. That is likely to remain the gameplan going forward, so Allgeier should be able to carry some flex value heading into the Week 10 matchup versus the Arizona Cardinals.

From RotoBaller

Nov 3 10:10am ET

Atlanta Falcons running back Tyler Allgeier was held to single digit carries for the third time this season last week. His usage has been all over the place this season, which is frustrating for fantasy managers. The Falcons continue to split up the workload between Allgeier and rookie back Bijan Robinson. However, Robinson is more of the lead back, so Allgeier doesn't always get a ton of work. That being said, Allgeier is tough to trust as anything more than a low-end flex option right now. He could have a tough time finding room to run against the Minnesota Vikings in Week 9.

From RotoBaller

Oct 29 5:30pm ET

Atlanta Falcons running back Tyler Allgeier returned to his role as the backup in this backfield on Sunday. Allgeier saw 21 carries last week, but saw that number take a dramatic hit this week. The young back carried the ball eight times for 31 yards in the loss to the Tennessee Titans. Rookie back Bijan Robinson only saw 11 carries with the Falcons passing 34 times during this game. Allgeier has been a frustrating player to roster this season. He should remain in the mix, but don't expect anything more than a low-end flex option heading into next week's matchup against the Minnesota Vikings.
