Carolina Panthers wide receiver Terrace Marshall Jr. (coach's decision) is inactive for the second consecutive week. He won't suit up on Sunday versus the Tennessee Titans. Marshall has appeared in eight games this season, primarily serving as a depth option while logging 18 catches for 134 yards. The former second-round pick hasn't panned out through three years in Carolina. He can be dropped to waivers in all redraft formats and most dynasty leagues.

Carolina Panthers wide receiver Laviska Shenault Jr. (ankle) is officially active for the Week 11 game against the visiting Dallas Cowboys on Sunday. As a result, Terrace Marshall Jr. will be a healthy scratch. Shenault was listed as questionable for this one, but the 25-year-old will make his return after a three-game absence. Still, he's well off the fantasy radar and could be eased back into the offense as a depth option behind wideouts Adam Thielen and rookie Jonathan Mingo. Given how bad Carolina's offense has been in 2023 with rookie quarterback Bryce Young at the helm, only Thielen has been a consistent fantasy option this year. Shenault has just seven catches for 43 yards and no touchdowns in six games so far this season.

Carolina Panthers wide receiver Terrace Marshall Jr. could see a larger role in Week 10 as his team gears up to face off against the Chicago Bears in the Thursday night game. D.J. Chark Jr. (elbow) is listed as doubtful for the game as he missed practice all week. The last time the Panthers were missing a starting receiver, in Week 4, Marshall stepped in and caught nine passes for 56 yards. If Chark ultimately ends up getting ruled out, Marshall will be a boom/bust flex option against a Bears defense that is allowing the 15th-most fantasy points per game to wide receivers in 2023.

Dynasty | Panthers receiver Terrace Marshall has been given permission to seek a trade Dynasty Analysis: A bust in his three years with the Panthers after being selected in the second round of the 2021 NFL Draft, Marshall has grown frustrated with his role and production behind the continually rebuilding team. He has yet to log play a full season and the constant quarterback carousel has taken its toll. At 6'2/200 lbs., the 23-year-old has the profile to be a productive receiver in the right system and it stands to reason he'll be looking for a more consistent and capable quarterback situation, though the team says he will be welcomed back if no trade arises. Given his low cost, a reuniting with Joe Burrow and Ja'Marr Chase from his time at LSU would be an intriguing situation though not likely to pay dividends in 2023. Found as DLF's WR94, Terrace Marshall is a fading dynast asset but could increase his standing in a new situation.

Carolina Panthers wide receiver Terrace Marshall Jr. has been given permission to seek a trade as the team heads into their Week 7 bye. The former second-round pick has languished in the Panthers' lackluster offense for the last three seasons and now finds himself buried behind Adam Thielen, DJ Chark Jr., and Jonathan Mingo on the depth chart. Marshall did have a nine-catch performance in Week 4, but that aberration was owed to Mingo missing the game due to a concussion. So far in 2023, Marshall has put up goose eggs in Weeks 2 and 6 and was scratched from Week 5 altogether. Should he be unable to find a suitor before the NFL trade deadline, Carolina will continue rostering Marshall, though his fantasy relevance will still depend on one or more injuries to his teammates.

Carolina Panthers wide receiver Terrace Marshall Jr. caught nine of his 11 targets for 56 yards in a 21-13 loss to the Minnesota Vikings in Week 4. Marshall saw an uptick in playing time with rookie Jonathan Mingo (concussion) inactive and he made the most of those chances by leading the Panthers in catches and targets in the loss. The third-year receiver has been busy over the past two weeks as he has drawn 18 targets, turning those into 14 receptions for 91 scoreless yards. That being said, Marshall is likely to return to a backup role once Mingo is ready to return, which could be as soon as Week 5 against the Detroit Lions.
