Baltimore Ravens running back Rasheen Ali (neck) has been activated from injured reserve and will play on Sunday against the Washington Commanders. He is slated to make his NFL debut in Week 6 as a depth option behind Derrick Henry and Justice Hill. Ali is a fifth-round pick out of Marshall who tallied 1,348 scrimmage yards and 16 touchdowns in his final collegiate season last year. He remains off the fantasy radar at the moment but could have some fantasy intrigue if Henry or Hill ever gets injured.

Baltimore Ravens rookie running back Rasheen Ali (neck) was set to return to practice on Thursday, which opened his 21-day practice window to return from Injured Reserve. The fifth-round selection made the 53-man roster out of training camp but was moved to IR due to a neck injury in Week 1. Ali wasn't exactly wowing the coaches in training camp in August with his play, so we wouldn't be surprised if the Ravens took the whole 21 days to evaluate him in practices before adding him to the active roster as RB depth behind Derrick Henry and Justice Hill. The Marshall product also dealt with some injuries in college and primarily relies on speed in open space. Unless Henry or Hill miss time with an injury later in the year, Ali is probably going to primarily one to stash in dynasty/keeper formats.

The Baltimore Ravens on Thursday placed rookie running back Rasheen Ali (neck) on Injured Reserve and signed linebacker Josh Ross to the active 53-man roster in a corresponding move. The Ravens also activated defensive back Ka'dar Hollman and running back John Kelly from the practice squad for Thursday night's season opener against the Kansas City Chiefs. Ali, who was looking overmatched in training camp and the preseason, will now be forced to miss at least the first four games of his rookie campaign in the NFL. Kelly will provide depth for the Baltimore backfield in the season opener behind Derrick Henry and Justice Hill. the 23-year-old speedy Ali might be in for more of a developmental redshirt year with the Ravens in his first season after getting off to a tough start both performance-wise and due to his injury.

Baltimore Ravens running back Rasheen Ali (neck) is doubtful to suit up on Thursday against the Kansas City Chiefs. The rookie fifth-round pick suffered a stinger early in the preseason and has been a limited participant in practices leading up to the regular season opener. The team officially lists Ali as doubtful. As expected, Derrick Henry and Justice Hill will handle the touches out of the backfield for the Ravens. Baltimore could call up John Kelly or Chris Collier from the practice squad to serve as depth. Ali is more likely to make his NFL debut when the Ravens host the Las Vegas Raiders in Week 2.

Baltimore Ravens rookie running back Rasheen Ali (neck) stayed limited in practice for the second straight day on Tuesday as the team prepares for their Week 1 regular-season opener on Thursday Night Football against the defending Super Bowl-champion Kansas City Chiefs. Ali suffered a stinger in the team's preseason opener and is still recovering, but the good news is that the 23-year-old has avoided a concussion and should have a good shot to make his regular-season NFL debut on Thursday night. However, the fifth-round selection didn't look impressive at all in training camp and will be the RB3 if active this week behind starter Derrick Henry and backup Justice Hill. For now, Ali is only worth stashing in dynasty/keeper fantasy leagues.

Baltimore Ravens rookie running back Rasheen Ali (neck) finds himself on the team's first official injury report of the season ahead of Thursday night's regular-season opener against the defending Super Bowl-champion Kansas City Chiefs on Monday. Ali was listed as limited with a neck injury. The 23-year-old fifth-rounder suffered a stinger in the preseason opener and is still recovering from it. If Ali is active on Thursday night in his first regular-season NFL contest, he'll serve as Baltimore's No. 3 back behind starter Derrick Henry and backup Justice Hill, which means he won't be worth starting in the vast majority of fantasy lineups. He was limited by injuries at times in college and didn't exactly impress during training camp when given opportunities. Right now, Ali is merely a stash candidate in dynasty/keeper formats.

Baltimore Ravens rookie fifth-round running back Rasheen Ali (neck) had a quiet start to training camp, struggled in short-yardage situations in the preseason opener against the Eagles and suffered what head coach John Harbaugh called a stinger. Ali hasn't been on the field since and didn't play in the second preseason game on Saturday against the Falcons. His top competitor for the No. 3 RB role, Owen Wright, caught a touchdown pass on Saturday. Ali has a lot of ground to make up on Wright this week and must first get back on the field at training camp. The Athletic's Jeff Zrebiec suggests Ali isn't guaranteed a 53-man roster spot out of camp at this point, and the Ravens have cut or traded rookie fifth-round picks in two of the past three years. The 23-year-old obviously is not on the fantasy radar in redraft leagues right now.

Baltimore Ravens running back Rasheen Ali (undisclosed) sustained a stinger partway through Friday's preseason game against the Philadelphia Eagles, according to Brian Wacker of the Baltimore Sun. As a result, he was absent from practice on Sunday. Ali rushed a whopping 10 times in the contest but was held to just 26 yards on the ground. He should make the 53-man roster with Keaton Mitchell (knee) on the PUP list, but he'll need a strong camp and start to the season in order to gain a firm hold on his role within the Ravens' offense. For the time being, he fills a depth spot and can be avoided in most redraft leagues.
From RotoBaller
Baltimore Ravens running back Rasheen Ali received the most touches in the backfield during the team's 16-13 loss in their preseason debut. The fifth-round pick took 10 carries for 26 yards and caught one of his three targets for four yards. He wasn't able to find much room on the ground in his first game, but he'll continue to get plenty of opportunities during the preseason while Keaton Mitchell (knee) is still on the mend. Owen Wright was the top back in this contest, but Ali will be one to watch for all of the dynasty managers out there looking for a diamond in the rough candidate.
From RotoBaller
Baltimore Ravens running back Rasheen Ali was selected in the fifth round of the 2024 NFL Draft, meaning he's not guaranteed a Week 1 roster spot. The Ravens have Derrick Henry, Justice Hill, and Keaton Mitchell (knee) on the roster, so he's likely to need to carve out a special teams role. "Ali faces a battle to find a role as a rookie," Clifton Brown of BaltimoreRavens.com wrote. "Special teams may represent Ali's best opportunity. He suffered a biceps injury at the Senior Bowl that sidelined him during rookie minicamp, but Ali was on the field for mandatory minicamp and figures to see plenty of preseason action. With Mitchell not scheduled to return until sometime during the preseason, Ali has an opportunity to provide added depth to the running back room." Ali rushed 212 times for 1,135 yards and 15 touchdowns in his final season at Marshall, and his 28 receptions for 213 yards prove he has at least some pass-catching chops, too. Ali should be on the fantasy radar in deep dynasty leagues, but it would be a surprise if he's fantasy-friendly in 2024 redraft setups.
