Kansas City Chiefs kicker Harrison Butker joined in on the team's uncharacteristic woes in last Monday's 20-14 loss to the division-rival Las Vegas Raiders, sinking both of his extra-point attempts but missing his lone field-goal try. Butker had been flawless on kicks from last year's Super Bowl up until Week 14 of this season, but the 28-year-old has now missed two boots in his last two weeks. With K.C.'s scuffling offense netting just 19.4 points per game through their last eight contests, Butker has secured a single-digit fantasy outcome just twice over this period. The Chiefs next welcome in the Cincinnati Bengals, who have surrendered the ninth-most fantasy points to opposing kickers on the campaign. Butker should be treated as a top-10 choice in Sunday's plus draw for title-hopeful fantasy rosters.

2023 has been a season of perfection for Kansas City Chiefs Harrison Butker, who is absolutely locked in with 23-of-23 field goals and 31-of-31 extra points converted. Butker's flawlessness has unfortunately not translated over to the world of fantasy. Dallas Cowboys rookie Brandon Aubrey is the only other every-week starter to not miss a field goal this year, except Aubrey is appropriately leading the charge with 147 fantasy points. Butker, on the other hand, ranks 13th in total scoring (109 points). The 28-year-old began the campaign with five out of eight showings in double-figure fantasy points but has been reduced to five consecutive single-digit displays. A middling Chiefs offense that's struggled to sustain drives all season has kept Butker's opportunities in check, but a kicker who hasn't missed yet shouldn't be displaced from fantasy's top 10 in Week 15 against the New England Patriots.

Dec 9 9:20pm ET

Kansas City Chiefs kicker Harrison Butker hasn't missed a single boot since the Super Bowl LVII triumph over the Philadelphia Eagles, burying 22-of-22 field goals and 29-of-29 extra points this season. Dallas Cowboys rookie Brandon Aubrey is the only other every-week starting kicker to not miss a field goal this year. Butker's accuracy hasn't been an issue, but his lack of opportunity has been. The 28-year-old has logged single-digit fantasy points in five out his last six games, having been unable to reach at least three FG attempts in a single game since Week 8. Butker hit two tries inside 40 yards during last Sunday night's loss against the Green Bay Packers, and he remains a top-10 fantasy option against the Buffalo Bills in Week 14.

Dec 2 12:00am ET

Kansas City Chiefs kicker Harrison Butker hasn't missed a single kick since Super Bowl LVII, burying 20-of-20 field goals and 28-of-28 extra points this season. Dallas Cowboys standout rookie Brandon Aubrey is the only other every-week kicker to not miss a field goal this year. With Justin Tucker and Tyler Bass on a Week 13 bye, Butker is a popular candidate to top weekly positional rankings alongside Jason Sanders on Sunday Night Football against the Green Bay Packers. Snow is in the forecast at Lambeau Field during the afternoon, but the kicking conditions should be fairly manageable by the time nightfall arrives on SNF, considering the type of weather the "frozen tundra" is prone to experience during the winter months as we begin December. Despite averaging the fourth-fewest fantasy points (5.3) over the last four weeks since Week 9, Butker remains worth starting in all season-long fantasy leagues in a humming Chiefs offense.

Kansas City Chiefs Harrison Butker (illness) overcame his illness and kept the team's lethargic offense afloat in Week 8's ugly 24-9 defeat to the division-rival Denver Broncos, drilling three field goals and accounting for all nine of the team's points. The Chiefs may have dropped their first game to Denver since 2015, but not by the hands of Butker's afternoon. The 28-year-old's effort was highlighted by booting a 56-yard try past the uprights before halftime, keeping him a perfect 18-of-18 on field goals this season. Butker's was K.C.'s leading fantasy scorer on Sunday, which should tell you all you need to know about how rough a day it was for them. The seventh-year man hopes his squad gets back on track in Week 9's International Series affair in Frankfurt against the 6-2 Miami Dolphins and their world-beating offense.

Oct 28 1:30am ET

Kansas City Chiefs kicker Harrison Butker (illness) was able to participate in Friday's practice after missing Thursday's session due to an illness, but he's officially off the Week 8 injury report. Butker is still without a missed kick in 2023, a big jump for him after going 18-for-24 on field goals last year. The 28-year-old has converted all fifteen of his FG attempts and is 19-of-19 on extra-point tries. In Week 8, the seventh-year man squares off with a Denver Broncos team that has permitted the seventh-most fantasy points per game (9.57) to opposing kickers. The weather forecast for Empower Field at Mile High calls for freezing temperatures on Sunday afternoon, which could play a part in Butker's ability to execute his kicks. The two-time Super Bowl champion is a weekly top-five play in K.C.'s potent offense, but expectations should be tempered a bit due to the predicted conditions.

Oct 21 3:30pm ET

Kansas City Chiefs kicker Harrison Butker has turned it up a notch over the last month, generating four straight double-digit fantasy performances. Butker was responsible for 12 of the Chiefs' 19 points in Week 6's 19-8 win over the division-rival Denver Broncos, comfortably burying a kick from 60 yards out as time expired in the first half. That's not to mention a late 52-yarder to help ice the game at the second half's two-minute warning last Thursday. Sunday's home divisional battle with the Los Angeles Chargers should present plenty of scoring opportunities, with the Week 7 slate's second-highest implied point total (47.5). The 28-year-old remains a top-five kicking play most weeks, and he should inserted into all fantasy lineups while a perfect 29-for-29 on all kicking tries this season.

Oct 11 11:10pm ET

Kansas City Chiefs kicker Harrison Butker has rebounded thus far from a shaky 2022 that saw him convert just 75% of his field goal attempts. The 28-year-old is a perfect 10-for-10 on FGs and 14-for-14 on extra points, setting him up as a bankable Week 6 choice versus the Denver Broncos on Thursday night. For what it's worth, Butker is 30-for-30 on all kicking attempts in six career Thursday games. Considering the Chiefs are sizable favorites at home against the 1-4 Broncos, Butker is a confident fantasy start, having also cracked double figures in fantasy points in three straight weeks. It could be a windy night at Arrowhead Stadium on Thursday, so this potential factor is worth monitoring.

From RotoBaller

Oct 7 4:30pm ET

Kansas City Chiefs kicker Harrison Butker is still flawless on all tries this season, hitting 8-of-8 field goals and 11-of-11 extra points in four outings. Butker remains waiting on the Chiefs offense to really start clicking, which would enhance his weekly prospects a bit. The 28-year-old is tied for 13th place at the position with a pedestrian 36 fantasy points on the campaign. In the confines of U.S. Bank Stadium on Sunday against the Minnesota Vikings, however, Butker is an easy top-five play with his squad boasting the second-highest implied team total of the Week 5 slate.

From RotoBaller

Sep 30 11:50pm ET

Kansas City Chiefs kicker Harrison Butker is 14-for-14 on all kicking attempts so far in three 2023 games. The 28-year-old made a considerable five extra points amid last Sunday's 41-10 drubbing of the Chicago Bears. Butker represents a great bet for a busy day on Sunday against a New York Jets defense that has a propensity to bend but not break. Gang Green has allowed an NFL-high 12 field-goal tries en route to the highest fantasy points per game to kickers (13). The seventh-year man could be called upon often if the Chiefs get ahead of the Jets, and fantasy managers can safely start him as a top-tier choice on Sunday.
