Miami Dolphins RB Raheem Mostert (chest) told reporters he expects to play in Week 5 versus the New England Patriots.
Fantasy Spin: Mostert has been sidelined since Week 1, which left De'Von Achane in something of a featured role during his absence. While the Patriots have been while the Patriots have been a middle-of-the-pack defense against running backs, their offense should not threaten the Dolphins enough to get Miami to back off the run, which means the 32-year-old should see as much volume as he can handle. Mostert makes for a solid flex play in Week 5 with low-end RB2 upside, even with Miami's offense struggling as much as it is.
From TheHuddle
Miami Dolphins running back Raheem Mostert (chest) could play this weekend, according to Cameron Wolfe of the NFL Network. Wolfe noted that this will be determined following Friday's practice session. Mostert has been sidelined since Week 1 with a chest injury he suffered in the season opener. In that game, the veteran running back saw six carries and two targets. During this week, Mostert was able to log two consecutive limited practice sessions, which suggests he could be nearing a return. Fantasy managers should pay close attention to Friday's injury report, as it should provide clarity on his status heading into the weekend. If Mostert is able to suit up, he should be viewed as a flex option facing the New England Patriots, who have allowed the 18th-most fantasy points to opposing running backs.
From RotoBaller
Miami Dolphins running back Raheem Mostert (chest) was a limited participant during Thursday's practice session. This is now back-to-back limited practice sessions for Mostert who looks to get back on the field for the first time since Week 1. It seems like the veteran back is trending in the right direction ahead of the Week 5 matchup against the New England Patriots. Fellow back Jeff Wilson Jr. (knee) was a full participant on Thursday after being limited on Wednesday. He appears to be ready to go and could have a bigger role if Mostert is forced to miss another game.
From RotoBaller
Miami Dolphins RB Raheem Mostert (chest) was limited during practice Thursday, Oct. 3.
Fantasy Spin: Mostert has missed the last few games because of the injury and could sit again since he was a limited participant last week but did not play. He will see limited touches if he is active for the game and can be avoided in most leagues.
From TheHuddle
Miami Dolphins RB Raheem Mostert (chest) was limited during practice Wednesday, Oct. 2. The Dolphins did not hold a practice Wednesday, so this is an estimation.
Fantasy Spin: Mostert missed the last two games because of the injury, so his status for Week 5 is uncertain. He likely will see limited touches if he plays and can be avoided in most leagues.
From TheHuddle
Miami Dolphins running backs Raheem Mostert (chest) and Jeff Wilson Jr. (knee) were both limited in practice on Wednesday. Mostert injured his chest in the Week 1 win over the Jacksonville Jaguars and hasn't played since despite being limited in practice all of last week as well. As long as he doesn't suffer a setback this week, though, Mostert should have a good chance to return on Sunday in Week 5 against the division-rival New England Patriots. The 32-year-old doesn't offer a ton of flex appeal for fantasy managers behind De'Von Achane and now that Miami's offense is being run by quarterback Tyler Huntley for at least one more week. Wilson hurt his knee in pre-game warmups before Monday's loss to the Titans and played only two offensive snaps as a result. The 28-year-old should be available this Sunday but is well off the radar for starting fantasy lineups, especially if Mostert comes back in Week 5.
From RotoBaller
Miami Dolphins RB Raheem Mostert (chest) has been declared inactive for the Week 4 game.
Fantasy Spin: De'Von Achane will continue to receive most of the work at running back with Mostert sidelined and should be a starting option in all fantasy leagues.
From TheHuddle
Miami Dolphins running back Raheem Mostert (chest) is officially inactive for Monday night's contest against the Tennessee Titans at Hard Rock Stadium. Mostert will miss his third straight game after suffering a chest injury in the Week 1 win over the Jacksonville Jaguars. The 32-year-old veteran came into the Week 4 contest listed as questionable after three limited practices. As long as he doesn't suffer a setback in next week's practice sessions, Mostert will have a much better shot to return for a Week 5 matchup against the division-rival New England Patriots. De'Von Achane is Miami's clear lead back, especially with Mostert out again, but his fantasy upside took a big hit when quarterback Tua Tagovailoa (concussion) landed on Injured Reserve. Behind Achane, expect the Dolphins to continue sprinkling in Jeff Wilson Jr. and rookie Jaylen Wright.
From RotoBaller
The Miami Dolphins have declared RB Raheem Mostert, LB David Long Jr., CB Kendall Fuller, QB Skylar Thompson, OT Terron Armstead and LB Mohamed Kamara inactive for Week 4.
From TheHuddle
Miami Dolphins RB Raheem Mostert (chest) is unlikely to play Monday, Sept. 30, against the Tennessee Titans.
Fantasy Spin: De'Von Achane will be a high-end option at running back if you still have the spot available. Jeff Wilson Jr. will back him up, but he's really only a desperation play at flex if you were holding out hope of playing Mostert.
From TheHuddle
Miami Dolphins running back Raheem Mostert (chest) is currently listed as questionable for the Monday night contest against the Tennessee Titans, but he's not expected to be upgraded to active. According to Tom Pelissero, the veteran back will miss another game with this chest injury which will already be his third missed game of the season. At 32 years old and with a long injury history, this has always been the risk with Mostert in terms of fantasy football. De'Von Achane will get as many opportunities on the ground and through the air as possible while Jeff Wilson Jr. and Jaylen Wright will split the backup duties against a Titans team who's on the tougher side against opposing running backs, giving up 16.8 fantasy points per game to opposing backfields.
From RotoBaller
Miami Dolphins running back Raheem Mostert (chest) is listed as questionable in the final injury report of the week for the team. The Dolphins play on Monday night against the Titans and Mostert has a chance to return after missing the last two games with a chest injury. Even if he does return, the veteran running back would be operating behind De'Von Achane on the depth chart and thus would have limited upside. He was listed as a limited participant on Saturday, making it three straight limited practice sessions. Mostert has the big-play ability to break long runs and do damage on limited carries but if he does return it might be wise to wait and see what his role is upon getting back on the field. A healthy Achane has dominated opportunities in the Dolphins' backfield and the offense in general hasn't been very explosive this season even when Tua Tagovailoa was healthy.
From RotoBaller
Miami Dolphins RB Raheem Mostert (chest) was limited at practice for the third straight day on Saturday, Sept. 28, and is questionable for Week 4.
Fantasy Spin: Mostert is reportedly "trying to play in the worst way" but chances are he's going to sit after a week of limited practices. Fire up De'Von Achane as a high-end RB2 with upside depending on how Miami's offense operates.
From TheHuddle
Miami Dolphins OT Terron Armstead (concussion) and CB Kendall Fuller (concussion) did not practice on Saturday, Sept. 28, and were ruled out for Week 4. Also, LB David Long Jr. (hamstring) did not practice and is doubtful, RB Raheem Mostert (chest), QB Skylar Thompson (ribs) and WR Malik Washington (quadriceps) were limited and are questionable, and CB Storm Duck (shoulder), FB Alec Ingold (shoulder, knee), CB Siran Neal (hamstring) and LB Jaelan Phillips (Achilles, shoulder) practiced in full and were removed from the injury report.
From TheHuddle
Miami Dolphins running back Raheem Mostert (chest) "is trying" to be ready to play in Week 4 on Monday night against the visiting Tennessee Titans, according to head coach Mike McDaniel. However, McDaniel said "we are not going to prematurely put ourselves out there if we are going to take steps back and not protect ourselves. He wants to (play) in the worst way." Mostert was limited in practice for the second straight day on Friday after missing the last two games, so he is certainly on the road to recovery. However, it doesn't mean he'll play on Monday, and he could be questionable on Saturday's final injury report. Especially with the game being on Monday, the 32-year-old isn't a recommended flex play this wee. If Mostert does suit up, he'll be the RB2 behind De'Von Achane and could also have his snaps limited.
From RotoBaller
Miami Dolphins running back Raheem Mostert (chest) was listed as a limited participant in practice on Friday for the second day in a row. Mostert suffered a chest injury in the Week 1 win over the Jacksonville Jaguars and has missed the last two games. However, with two limited showings this week, he could be on his way to returning for a Week 4 tilt on Monday night versus the Tennessee Titans at Hard Rock Stadium. Pain tolerance is the issue for the 32-year-old veteran, but he is optimistic he'll have a chance to play on Monday. Even if Mostert manages to be active against the Titans, he'll most likely be the No. 2 behind explosive back De'Von Achane, limiting his flex appeal in fantasy lineups, especially if he's eased back in. In the season opener, Mostert played 44% of the snaps (Achane had 52%) and produced just nine yards on six carries while catching two passes for 10 yards. Mostert is shaping up as an extremely volatile flex option in Week 4.
From RotoBaller
Miami Dolphins RB Raheem Mostert (chest) is optimistic about his availability for Week 4 but a final decision as not been made at this point.
Fantasy Spin: Fantasy players can keep an eye on the situation over the next few days to see if Mostert has a chance to play. He will be behind De'Von Achane on the depth chart when he returns and probably can be avoided in most leagues.
From TheHuddle
Miami Dolphins RB Raheem Mostert (chest) was limited at practice for the second straight day on Friday, Sept. 27.
Fantasy Spin: Mostert followed the same path last week before turning in a limited session on the last day of practice and not playing. He's probably another week away, but Saturday's report will tell the full story. It's probably best to leave him on the bench even if he does suit up. De'Von Achane is the only back on Miami's offense you can remotely trust and even he's a shaky play this week with how bad Miami's offense has looked without Tua Tagovailoa (concussion) under center.
From TheHuddle
Miami Dolphins OT Terron Armstead (concussion), CB Kendall Fuller (concussion) and LB David Long Jr. (hamstring) did not practice on Friday, Sept. 27. Also, CB Siran Neal (hamstring), CB Storm Duck (shoulder), RB Raheem Mostert (chest), QB Skylar Thompson (ribs), WR Malik Washington (quadriceps) and WR Tyreek Hill (rest) were limited and DL Calais Campbell (rest), FB Alec Ingold (shoulder, knee) and LB Jaelan Phillips (Achilles, shoulder) practiced in full.
From TheHuddle
Miami Dolphins running back Raheem Mostert (chest) was a limited participant in practice on Thursday. It was somewhat promising to see Mostert, who hasn't played since Week 1, get on the field in some capacity a full four days before Miami's game against the Tennessee Titans. Having Mostert available would be great for a Dolphins offense in need of playmakers amidst injuries to quarterbacks Tua Tagovailoa (concussion) and Skylar Thompson (ribs). All signs point to Tyler Huntley starting under center for Miami, and their best shot at defeating Tennessee might be running their offense through the rushing attack. De'Von Achane still remains atop the Dolphins' backfield, but a healthy Mostert might see enough volume to make him an RB3 in fantasy football. Managers should continue to monitor the injury reports and check to see whether Mostert gets an official designation on Saturday.
