Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Skyy Moore (knee), who was activated from Injured Reserve on Wednesday, practiced in full all week and doesn't carry an injury designation into Sunday's Super Bowl against the San Francisco 49ers. Moore will be available to play in this weekend's big game, but he could still be a healthy scratch since he hasn't played in a game since Week 15. Even if the 23-year-old is active, fantasy managers shouldn't expect the second-year wideout to be on the field all that much for the Chiefs' offense. In 14 regular season games (eight starts), Moore was a disappointment in his second year in the NFL with only 21 catches for 244 yards and one touchdown on 38 targets. Marquez Valdes-Scantling and Justin Watson should play in three-wide sets alongside rookie Rashee Rice in the Super Bowl.

Feb 8 11:40pm CT

Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Skyy Moore (knee) managed to put in another day of full practice on Thursday. The Chiefs officially activated Moore from Injured Reserve on Wednesday, but that doesn't guarantee that he'll actually be active on Sunday for the Super Bowl against the San Francisco 49ers. The 23-year-old second-year wideout hasn't played in a game since Week 15, so even if he does suit up for the big game, fantasy managers shouldn't be expecting Moore to have a major role on offense for the Chiefs. In 14 games during the regular season, Moore wasn't really fantasy relevant, catching 21 of his 38 targets for 244 yards and only one touchdown. Stay away from him in fantasy lineups for Super Bowl LVIII.

Feb 7 6:40pm CT

The Kansas City Chiefs officially activated wide receiver Skyy Moore (knee) from Injured Reserve on Wednesday. The Chiefs originally designated Moore to return from Injured Reserve on Jan. 17 and had until Wednesday to activate him so that he can be available for the Super Bowl this Sunday against the San Francisco 49ers. The 23-year-old's activation doesn't guarantee he'll be active this weekend, though, and he has not played in a game since Week 15. If Moore is active against San Francisco, fantasy managers would be wise to avoid him in DFS, since he's unlikely to see much of the field. He's going to need to show the Chiefs that he's at full speed in practices this week to have a shot at suiting up on Super Bowl Sunday. Moore had only 21 catches for 244 yards and a touchdown during the regular season before getting hurt.

Feb 2 5:30pm CT

The Kansas City Chiefs have listed wide receiver Skyy Moore (knee) as questionable for Super Bowl LVIII on Sunday, Feb. 11, against the San Francisco 49ers after the first week of practice. Moore was limited in practice all week and is trending towards a return, but the Chiefs will have to decide whether to officially activate him from Injured Reserve by next Wednesday. The 23-year-old second-year wideout has not played for the team since Week 15, so even if he's activated and available to face San Francisco, it's unlikely that Moore will be very involved on offense, especially with Kadarius Toney looking likely to suit up after also being out since Week 15. In 14 regular-season games, Moore had only 21 catches for 244 yards and one touchdown on 38 targets.

Feb 1 7:00pm CT

Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Skyy Moore (knee), who is still on Injured Reserve and hasn't played in a game since Week 15, was limited in the team's practice on Thursday for the second straight day this week. Moore didn't practice at all last week before missing the AFC Championship win over the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday. It sounds like the 23-year-old is getting closer to a return, but the Chiefs will have to officially activate Moore from Injured Reserve by next Saturday, Feb. 10, for him to be eligible to play in the Super Bowl against the San Francisco 49ers. Even if Moore is activated and plays against the Niners, fantasy managers should look to avoid him after he caught only 21 passes for 244 yards and one touchdown during the regular season.

Jan 31 6:20pm CT

Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Skyy Moore (knee) was listed as limited on the team's estimated practice report for Wednesday. Moore remains on Injured Reserve and has not played since Week 15. He was designated to return from IR on Jan. 17 but has not been activated for any of the team's three playoff games. The 23-year-old will need to be officially activated from IR by Feb. 7 to be eligible to play in the Super Bowl against the San Francisco 49ers on Feb. 11. Even if Moore is activated by the end of next week, he figures to have a very minimal role in KC's offense and won't be worth looking at for DFS lineups. During the regular season, the second-year wideout caught only 21 of 38 targets for 244 yards and one touchdown.

Jan 26 3:10pm CT

The Kansas City Chiefs have ruled out wide receiver Skyy Moore (knee) for Sunday's AFC Championship game against the Baltimore Ravens. The Chiefs designated Moore to return from Injured Reserve on Jan. 17, but he hasn't been able to practice since and will miss yet another game. The 23-year-old second-year pass-catcher was a big disappointment during the regular season as well, catching just 21 of his 38 targets for 244 yards and one touchdown. If the Chiefs advance to another Super Bowl, Moore could certainly be activated from IR and play, but he probably wouldn't see the field all that much since he hasn't seen game action since the team's Week 15 win over the New England Patriots.

Jan 24 1:50pm CT

Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Skyy Moore (knee) is not practicing on Wednesday to begin AFC title game prep. The second-year pass-catcher was designated to return from Injured Reserve on January 17 and logged limited practice sessions last Wednesday and Thursday. However, he did not practice on Friday and isn't participating today, so he might not be ready to be activated for Sunday's matchup with the Baltimore Ravens. Moore has hauled in just 43 of his 71 targets for 494 yards and one touchdown through his first 30 regular season games, so he's not worth much consideration in DFS lineups if he is activated.

Jan 19 2:20pm CT

Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Skyy Moore (knee) will not come off the Injured Reserve to play in Sunday's Divisional Round game versus the Buffalo Bills. Moore returned to practice this week but isn't ready to contribute on offense. The 23-year-old second-year player was a disappointment once again before even getting injured, catching 21 of his 38 targets for 244 yards and the first touchdown of his career in 14 regular season games before getting injured in Week 15. Moore has not played since but could be available as receiver depth for KC if they beat the Bills in Buffalo and advance to another AFC Championship next weekend. Rookie Rashee Rice has become the Chiefs' only reliable pass-catcher for fantasy purposes, outside of tight end Travis Kelce. Justin Watson and Marquez Valdes-Scantling are the starters alongside Rice.

Jan 18 5:50pm CT

Kansas City Chiefs wide receivers Kadarius Toney (ankle, hip), Skyy Moore (knee) and Justyn Ross (calf) were all limited in practice on Thursday for the second straight day this week. Toney and Moore both last played back in Week 15, so even if both of them are active for the Divisional Round game this Sunday against the Buffalo Bills, they could both be eased back into the offense, thus making them entirely too risky to count on for DFS lineups. Neither pass-catcher was very involved during the regular season when they were healthy anyway, with Toney going for 27 catches, 169 yards and one touchdown in 13 games, while Moore had 21 catches for 244 yards and one touchdown in 14 games. Moore is still on Injured Reserve, so he'll need to be activated on Saturday if the Chiefs want him available on Sunday.

From RotoBaller

Jan 17 12:10pm CT

The Kansas City Chiefs designated wide receiver Skyy Moore (knee) to return from Injured Reserve on Wednesday. It means that Moore can resume practicing with the team, but he won't be active for Sunday's Divisional Round playoff game against the Buffalo Bills unless the Chiefs officially activate him from Injured Reserve by Saturday's deadline. The 23-year-old will have to prove he's healthy enough in practice this week to be activated for Sunday's game, but even if Moore is cleared to play this weekend, it's unlikely that he'll have a big role after being out since Week 15. The second-year wideout wasn't really a big part of KC's offense when he was healthy in 2023, either, catching only 21 of 38 targets for 244 yards and one touchdown in 14 games. Rookie Rashee Rice is the only realistic DFS receiver play for the Divisional Round from the Chiefs.

Dec 18 5:30pm CT

The Kansas City Chiefs placed wide receiver Skyy Moore (knee) on Injured Reserve on Monday, meaning he'll miss the next three games and the rest of the 2023 regular season. Moore was injured in the team's Week 15 loss to the New England Patriots on Sunday due to knee swelling and will now take some time off and hope to return to help the Chiefs in the playoffs. The 23-year-old was expected to have a much larger role in Kansas City's offense going into his second NFL season, but that really didn't end up happening. In 14 games (eight starts) for the Chiefs, Moore caught 21 of his 38 targets for 244 yards and one touchdown. For the next three games at least, Moore's absence will mean more snaps for Marquez Valdes-Scantling, Kadarius Toney and Richie James behind rookie Rashee Rice and Justin Watson.

Dec 1 11:10pm CT

Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Skyy Moore (knee) practiced fully all week and has been removed from Week 13's injury report. Moore has emerged with a knee injury, but it didn't cost him any game action during Week 12's 31-17 win over the division-rival Las Vegas Raiders. The 23-year-old was not a big part of the comeback victory, collecting each of his three targets for 34 yards. A consolation prize for Moore is that last Sunday marked his highest output in catches and yards since Week 4, which is a more an indictment of the 2022 second-round pick's Year 2 struggles than anything else. Moore hasn't participated on 50% of his possible routes in any game since that Week 4 contest, remaining miles from fantasy relevance in Week 13 against the Green Bay Packers on Sunday Night Football as a WR5/6.

Nov 29 8:30pm CT

Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Skyy Moore (knee) was listed as a full participant in practice on Wednesday ahead of his team's Week 13 matchup against the Green Bay Packers. Moore didn't appear to suffer any injuries in a Week 12 win over the Las Vegas Raiders, so his being listed as a full participant on the injury report doesn't appear to be a major issue. That being said, it will be worth monitoring his participation in practice sessions on Thursday and Friday. Stay tuned.

Nov 25 11:40pm CT

Though we're about three quarters of the way through the 2023 season, Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Skyy Moore has a chance to kick-start his campaign in Week 12's road date with the division-rival Las Vegas Raiders. It would be better late than never for Moore, who has recorded a scant 17 receptions on 32 targets with 205 receiving yards and one touchdown in 10 games played this season. Though they haven't played very much anyway, Kadarius Toney (ankle/hip) and Mecole Hardman Jr. (thumb) will be inactive on Sunday. It gives Moore a chance to be a more frequent member of three-receiver sets for head coach Andy Reid in this one, after Marquez Valdes-Scantling logged a season-low 46.2% of K.C.'s offensive snaps and dropped a would-be game-winning score in Week 11. Even so, Moore is a dart-throw WR5/6 pick in an offense that tends to spread the ball around and a game where the Chiefs could be playing from ahead.

Nov 18 10:00pm CT

The Kansas City Chiefs finally responded to wide receiver Skyy Moore's lack of productivity in the Week 9 win over the Miami Dolphins in Frankfurt. They handed Moore his lowest snap share of the year (21.1%) after regularly employing him for at least 50% in each of the preceding eight outings. The 23-year-old has one 2023 highlight, which was a 3/70/1 receiving line on four targets in Week 2 against the Jacksonville Jaguars. Fantasy managers may be searching waiver wires for a Chiefs wideout in a plum spot against the Philadelphia Eagles, who are getting pummeled for the most average fantasy points to opposing WRs (47.53). They would be better suited taking a gamble on deep threats Marquez Valdes-Scantling or Justin Watson getting the behind Philly's aging secondary in this cushy draw, the latter of whom registered a season-high 66.7% of K.C.'s offensive snaps in his last outing.

Nov 3 11:10pm CT

Year 2 has been a difficult one for Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Skyy Moore, who has recorded a measly 14 receptions, 168 yards, and 6.2 yards per target covering eight games. Moore has joined teammate Kadarius Toney as an abject late-round fantasy failure from this past summer's drafts, logging one real usable score back in Week 2 with 16.0 full-PPR points. But at least Moore's 59.3% snap share ranks second among K.C.'s wideouts, which still isn't exactly saying much with Marquez Valdes-Scantling leading the crew at a 62.4% rate. Greater than four targets haven't gone Moore's way since Week 3, leaving production few and far between entering Week 9 against a Miami Dolphins defense sacrificing the 10th-most fantasy points per game (37.83) to WRs. The 23-year-old former second-round pick is an unreliable WR5/6 without much to be excited about leading into Sunday.
