Pittsburgh Steelers kicker Chris Boswell drilled his lone field goal and converted on both of his extra-point tries in a Week 18 victory over the Baltimore Ravens. The veteran will hope to find continued success against the Buffalo Bills in the wild-card round of the NFL playoffs. This is a difficult matchup for Boswell and the Steelers as the Bills have surrendered just 14.8 points per game when playing at Highmark Stadium this season. Furthermore, Sunday's contest is expected to be a slow-paced battle with gusting winds and snow limiting offensive production. Weather conditions in Buffalo could keep Boswell off the field for much of the game, so fantasy managers should consider other options this weekend.

Jan 5 10:40pm ET

Pittsburgh Steelers kicker Chris Boswell was perfect in Week 17, drilling all three of his field goal attempts and going three-for-three on extra-point tries. He'll hope to have similar involvement in a Week 18 divisional showdown with the Baltimore Ravens. Boswell has been unreliable for fantasy purposes with the Steelers struggling to score points for most of the season, but Pittsburgh's offense has been clicking recently with Mason Rudolph under center. The Steelers, who are battling for their playoff lives, could continue to find success on Saturday as the Ravens are expected to rest many starters. Production is far from guaranteed, but fantasy managers could get solid output from Boswell this week.

Dec 29 7:50pm ET

Pittsburgh Steelers kicker Chris Boswell was excellent in Week 16, drilling both of his field goal attempts and converting on all four of his extra-point tries. He'll look to stay busy in a Week 17 road matchup against the Seattle Seahawks. Although Pittsburgh's offense showed signs of life with Mason Rudolph under center last week, it has been difficult to trust the Steelers to put up points throughout the campaign. Seattle's defense has been relatively vulnerable but Pittsburgh is averaging just 15.3 points in away contests this season. While Boswell could certainly produce on Sunday, fantasy managers should be able to find a more reliable option in championship matchups.

Dec 22 8:10pm ET

Pittsburgh Steelers kicker Chris Boswell did not attempt a field goal in Week 15 and converted on just one of his two extra-point tries in a 30-13 loss to the Indianapolis Colts. This marked Boswell's first missed extra point since the 2021-2022 campaign. The 32-year-old will hope to get back on track against the Cincinnati Bengals on Saturday. Although Boswell turned in a solid fantasy showing in a meeting with Cincinnati in Week 12, he'll be more difficult to trust this week with quarterback Mason Rudolph leading the Steelers' offense. This contest is not projected for an abundance of points scored, so fantasy managers would be wise to look elsewhere for a starting kicker.

Dec 18 10:53pm ET

Pittsburgh Steelers PK Chris Boswell made just one of his two extra-point attempts in Week 15 against the Indianapolis Colts, and he did not attempt a field goal. He ended up with just one point, and he has four or fewer points in each of the past three, and four of his previous five outings.

Dec 15 9:10pm ET

Pittsburgh Steelers kicker Chris Boswell drilled his lone field goal attempt and converted on his only extra-point try of a 21-18 loss to the New England Patriots in Week 14. The 32-year-old will hope to be much more involved on Saturday against the Indianapolis Colts. Although the Steelers' offense led by quarterback Mitch Trubisky is unlikely to find the end zone many times, it should be noted that the Colts have surrendered at least 25 points in seven of their 13 contests this season. Indianapolis has also given up the second-most fantasy points to kickers. Boswell may not be the most dependable source of production, but fantasy managers can take a chance on him in this matchup.

Dec 6 7:50pm ET

Pittsburgh Steelers kicker Chris Boswell was successful on one of his two field goal attempts and converted on his lone extra-point try of a Week 13 loss to the Arizona Cardinals. The 32-year-old will hope to see more opportunities in a Thursday night showdown with the New England Patriots. Although New England's defense has held its opponents in check in recent weeks, the Patriots have surrendered the 10th-most fantasy points per game to kickers this season. That being said, this contest is not expected to feature much offensive output. Boswell could turn in a solid showing, but fantasy managers should check waivers for other options in more enticing matchups.

Dec 1 7:10pm ET

Pittsburgh Steelers kicker Chris Boswell drilled all three of his field goal attempts and was successful on his lone extra-point try of a Week 12 victory over the Cincinnati Bengals. He'll look to stay busy against the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday. Pittsburgh showed signs of life on offense last week and could keep rolling with Arizona surrendering 26.8 points per contest this season. With six teams on bye this week, Boswell can be added and streamed by fantasy managers in need of a starter.

Nov 24 8:10pm ET

Pittsburgh Steelers kicker Chris Boswell was successful on his lone field goal attempt and converted on an extra-point try in a Week 11 loss to the Cleveland Browns. The 32-year-old will face another divisional foe in the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday. With the team firing offensive coordinator Matt Canada earlier this week, the Steelers will hope to find more success moving the ball and thus putting Boswell in a position to score. The Bengals have given up a fair amount of points this season but fantasy managers should wait to see signs of improvement from Pittsburgh before considering Boswell in starting lineups.

Nov 17 2:20pm ET

Pittsburgh Steelers kicker Chris Boswell was busy last week, connecting on all three of his field goal attempts and drilling both of his extra-point tries. Unfortunately, he is unlikely to find similar success in Week 11 against the Browns in Cleveland. The Browns have surrendered just over 10 points per game at home this season and this contest has the lowest projected point total of any matchup this week. Boswell should not be expected to have many opportunities on Sunday and thus should be avoided in fantasy lineups.

From RotoBaller

Nov 10 9:20pm ET

Pittsburgh Steelers kicker Chris Boswell was perfect in Week 9, drilling both of his field goal attempts and converting on each of his two extra-point tries. He'll hope to stay consistent in a Week 10 matchup against the Green Bay Packers. Although Boswell has scored at least eight fantasy points in five of eight games this season, his ceiling for fantasy purposes isn't particularly high with Pittsburgh struggling offensively. Because Green Bay's defense is surrendering fewer than 20 points per game, fantasy managers should look to avoid Boswell on Sunday.

From RotoBaller

Nov 1 9:40pm ET

Pittsburgh Steelers kicker Chris Boswell converted on one of his two field goal attempts and drilled his lone extra-point try in a Week 8 loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars. Boswell missed a 61-yard field goal after his successful 55-yard kick was nullified by a penalty. He'll look to bounce back on Thursday Night Football against the Tennessee Titans. Tennessee's defense has been solid this season, allowing exactly 20 points per contest. However, the Titans have surrendered the most field goals and fantasy points per game to opposing kickers. It's difficult to trust Boswell with Pittsburgh's offense struggling to score, but the 32-year-old is worth a look for fantasy managers in need of a starting option this week.

From RotoBaller

Oct 27 9:00pm ET

Pittsburgh Steelers kicker Chris Boswell drilled a 53-yard field goal and was successful on all three of his extra-point tries in a victory over the Los Angeles Rams in Week 7. He'll look to repeat this success against the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday. Although the Jaguars have not surrendered much fantasy production to kickers this season, Jacksonville's defense has allowed its opponents to score at least 20 points in three straight games. Still, it's difficult to trust Boswell for fantasy purposes due to the inconsistency of Pittsburgh's offense and there are likely better options available on waivers.

From RotoBaller

Oct 20 9:00pm ET

Pittsburgh Steelers kicker Chris Boswell has been successful on all of his field goal attempts and extra-point tries this season and will look to stay perfect in a Week 7 matchup against the Los Angeles Rams. Despite his consistency as an NFL kicker, Boswell is difficult to trust for fantasy purposes as the Steelers have scored the third-fewest points per contest in 2023. Fantasy managers should be able to find better options on waiver wires and should look to avoid Boswell in this difficult matchup.

From RotoBaller

Oct 6 5:20pm ET

Pittsburgh Steelers kicker Chris Boswell has drilled all of his field goal attempts and extra-point tries so far this season and will look to stay perfect in a divisional matchup against the Baltimore Ravens. Unfortunately for Boswell, Pittsburgh's offense has struggled to sustain drives and is unlikely to turn things around this week against a stingy Baltimore defense in what projects to be a low-scoring affair. Fantasy managers should avoid starting Boswell in all lineups this week.
