The Baltimore Ravens have reportedly scheduled a visit with free-agent wide receiver Michael Gallup. The veteran wideout was recently cut by the Dallas Cowboys after another quiet season in 2023. Despite that, Gallup appears to have multiple interested suitors as the Carolina Panthers have scheduled a visit as well. The 28-year-old hasn't produced a season with more than 445 receiving yards since the 2020 season. Hopefully, a change of scenery will help Gallup get his career back on track.

Free-agent WR Michael Gallup (Cowboys) will visit the Carolina Panthers next week, per source on Saturday, March 16.

From TheHuddle

Mar 16 1:50pm ET

The Carolina Panthers are set to bring in former Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Michael Gallup for a visit next week, according to a source. Even though the Panthers acquired receiver Diontae Johnson from the Pittsburgh Steelers earlier this week, they continue to look to add weapons on offense after quarterback Bryce Young struggled mightily in his rookie season in 2023. In addition to Gallup, the Panthers will visit with Mike Williams (knee), who was recently released by the Los Angeles Chargers for salary cap purposes. The 28-year-old Gallup would join Johnson, Adam Thielen and Jonathan Mingo if he were to sign with the Panthers. Gallup had 1,000 yards in his sophomore season in 2019 in Dallas but has been on the decline since and hasn't had more than 445 receiving yards in each of the last three seasons.

Dynasty | The Cowboys have released wide receiver Michael Gallup. Dynasty Analysis: Dallas attempted to find a trade partner for Gallup but couldn't find anyone willing to give up a late-round pick. It's not as if Gallup doesn't have trade value - the problem for the Cowboys is everyone knew they were going to release him if they didn't find him a home anyway. He'll enter free agency for the first time in his career and look to show he can still play after struggling to return to form after his ACL tear. Gallup is still roster worthy for the moment but we'll need to see where he ends up to really assess his value.

The Dallas Cowboys are releasing veteran wide receiver Michael Gallup, according to Michael Gehlken on the Dallas Morning News. Gallup, a 2018 third-round pick, has struggled to produce since his 1,107-yard season in 2019. Since that year, the 28-year-old has not eclipsed 850 yards in a single season, and he's produced fewer than 500 yards in each of the last three campaigns. He will likely have a few interest suitors on the open market, but it'd be surprising if he becomes a No. 2 wide receiver with a new organization. Instead, he's probably headed for a WR3 or WR4 role in 2024, leaving him off the fantasy football radar in most formats.

Dallas Cowboys WR Michael Gallup was released on Friday, March 15.

Fantasy Spin: It is a sad end for a player who broke out in 2019 but has struggled to find the form he had before his ACL tear in 2021. Gallup will almost certainly catch on with another team before long, but he is already 28 years old. He will likely have to settle for a situational role as a third or fourth receiver wherever he lands.

Dallas Cowboys WR Michael Gallup has been granted permission to seek a trade, according to a source. However, it might be difficult for him to find someone willing to make a deal because other NFL clubs expect him to be released.

From TheHuddle

Mar 10 12:00am ET

Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Michael Gallup was given permission to seek a trade. According to Calvin Watkins of the Dallas News, the situation is tough as NFL teams expect the Cowboys to release Gallup this offseason. The 28-year-old has three seasons remaining after signing a five-year, $57.5 million extension with the Cowboys in 2022. Dallas could free up to nine million in cap space if Gallup is released post-June 1. He caught 34 passes for 418 yards and two touchdowns over 17 games last season. The former third-round pick hasn't topped 500 receiving yards since 2020. Gallup will search for a trade partner but is unlikely to return to Dallas in 2024.

From RotoBaller

Feb 22 2:30pm ET

The Athletic's Jon Machota suggests that wide receiver Michael Gallup is a potential cut candidate this offseason. The 27-year-old has three years left on the five-year, $57.5 million extension he signed in March of 2022. He was coming off a season-ending knee injury when he signed that deal, and he hasn't been the same player since. Gallup averaged 975 receiving yards and 5.5 touchdowns per season in 2019 and 2020, but he hasn't had more than 445 yards in a season since. He caught all six of his targets for 103 yards in the wild-card loss to the Packers, his best game of the last two years. If Dallas cuts Gallup before June, they'll be left with $13 million in dead-cap money in 2024, which would only save them around $800,000 in 2024 because his cap hit for 2024 is $13.85 million. A pay cut is probably coming for Gallup if he's not released.

From RotoBaller

Jan 14 11:30pm ET

Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Michael Gallup gained over 100 yards all of a sudden in the Wild Card Weekend loss to the Green Bay Packers. Gallup was targeted six times, making all six catches for 103 yards, including a long gain of 42 yards. It was the first 100-yard game of the season for Gallup, but it was ultimately not enough to keep the Cowboys season alive. Gallup disappeared for most of the season and despite this solid playoff performance, will probably be way down on most draft boards next season.

From TheHuddle

Dec 28 7:30pm ET

Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Michael Gallup is not a fantasy option in a Week 17 game against the Detroit Lions. Gallup has made just seven total catches in his past five games, and has scored just two touchdowns all season. The Cowboys passing game runs through CeeDee Lamb with a little help from Brandin Cooks and Jake Ferguson. Gallup has a blocking role on the real offense, but that's not helpful in fantasy lineups. He should remain on the waiver wire in almost all formats.

From RotoBaller

Dec 24 9:33pm ET

Dallas Cowboys WR Michael Gallup ended up with two receptions for four yards on his two targets in Week 16 against the Miami Dolphins.

From TheHuddle

Dec 24 8:30pm ET

Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Michael Gallup continued to struggle in a Week 16 loss to the Miami Dolphins. Gallup was targeted twice in the passing game and made both catches, but ended up gaining a total of just four yards. It was another poor performance in a season that's unfortunately been full of them for Gallup, who has now seemingly fallen behind Jalen Tolbert in the Dallas wide receiver pecking order. He's no longer worth rostering in any formats, in case anyone's still holding on for some reason.

From RotoBaller

Dec 21 9:30pm ET

Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Michael Gallup is not a legitimate fantasy option in most leagues in a Week 16 game against the Miami Dolphins. Gallup made just one catch last week and has put up double digit fantasy points just twice in his past 11 games. He plays a role on the "real life" Cowboys offense, but it is not a fantasy relevant one and he shouldn't even be rostered in the majority of formats.

From RotoBaller

Dec 17 10:53pm ET

Dallas Cowboys WR Michael Gallup had one catch for nine yards in a 31-10 loss to the Buffalo Bills in Week 15.

From TheHuddle

Dec 17 8:20pm ET

Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Michael Gallup made just one catch in a Week 15 loss to the Buffalo Bills. Gallup was targeted only once despite quarterback Dak Prescott throwing the ball 34 times. He made his catch for a nine yard gain. Gallup shouldn't have been in any fantasy lineups this week, and likely won't change that opinion next week when the Cowboys face the Dolphins.
