Thompson-Robinson drew the start and played the entire first half of the game, giving way to Tyler Huntley after halftime. While Thompson-Robinson didn't throw for any touchdowns, he led the Browns on a scoring drive culminating in a D'Onta Foreman touchdown on their first offensive possession of the contest. Thompson-Robinson is looking to hold off Huntley for the right to open the season as the No. 3 quarterback in Cleveland behind Deshaun Watson and Jameis Winston.

Thompson-Robinson completed 14 of his 18 passes for 134 yards while adding two yards on his lone rushing attempt. The second-year signal caller led the team's lone touchdown-scoring drive in the fourth quarter, which culminated in an Aidan Robbins touchdown run. Cleveland Browns quarterback Dorian Thompson-Robinson (hip) is set to have a follow-up MRI exam on his hip on Monday, and if all goes as planned, he's hoping to be back out on the field during the team's minicamp next weekend. The 24-year-old signal-caller suffered a subluxation of his hip on Christmas Eve last season and missed the rest of the year, which prompted the Browns to add veteran QB Joe Flacco. Thompson-Robinson has made good progress this offseason and is close to being cleared to throw during the team's offseason workouts. The Browns aren't going to rush him, though, and when healthy, he's going to be buried on the QB depth chart in Cleveland behind Deshaun Watson, Jameis Winston and Tyler Huntley.

Cleveland Browns general manager Andrew Berry said on Tuesday that the team might slow play things with quarterback Dorian Thompson-Robinson (hip) as the offseason program opens on April 15. However, Berry said the signing of former Baltimore Ravens backup Tyler Huntley on March 17 was independent of Thompson-Robinson's injury. Before his season-ending injury in 2023, Thompson-Robinson, a fifth-round pick out of UCLA, went 1-2 in his first three NFL starts, throwing for 440 yards, one touchdown and four interceptions. The Browns were happy with DTR's contributions as he was forced to step into a starting role in his rookie season. However, with Jameis Winston also in town, he's likely to begin training camp as the team's No. 4 QB.
