Carolina Panthers tight end Tommy Tremble (back) is inactive for Week 10 against the New York Giants. He had been listed as questionable after logging a full practice on Friday. Despite his improved practice status, Tremble will miss his second game in a row and fourth game in the last five weeks. His absence creates additional opportunities for rookie Ja'Tavion Sanders, who has 16 catches over his last four games.

Carolina Panthers tight end Tommy Tremble (back) is officially listed as questionable to play in Week 10 against the New York Giants on Sunday in Munich, Germany. Tremble practiced in full on Wednesday and Friday while being limited on Thursday. Meanwhile, rookie Ja'Tavion Sanders (ankle, wrist) was cleared to play after popping up on the injury report on Thursday. The 24-year-old Tremble has missed four of the last five games due to injury, but he appears to be on the right track to suit up overseas this weekend. Still, fantasy managers desperate at the tight end position should be able to find better streaming options in deep leagues. Tremble will probably take a back seat to Sanders, who has become a bigger part of the offense in recent weeks. In his five games played in 2024, Tremble has nine grabs on 12 targets for just 72 yards and no touchdowns.

Carolina Panthers tight ends Tommy Tremble (back) and Feliepe Franks (concussion) have both been officially ruled out for the Week 9 divisional clash on Sunday against the New Orleans Saints. Tremble was able to practice in full on Friday but still picked up a questionable tag on the final injury report. The 24-year-old missed Weeks 6 and 7 with a back injury but returned in last week's loss to the Denver Broncos to catch two of his three targets for 13 yards. Apparently his back issue worsened after last Sunday's game, causing him to miss another contest. With both Tremble and Franks out this weekend, it will open the door for rookie Ja'Tavion Sanders to operate as the team's clear pass-catching TE. At best, the 21-year-old fourth-rounder will be a deep-league TE2 streaming option. Sanders has 20 receptions for 158 yards and no scores in his first eight NFL games.

Carolina Panthers tight end Tommy Tremble (back) is officially active for Week 8 against the Denver Broncos. He had been listed as questionable but was trending in the right direction after logging a full practice on Friday. The 24-year-old has been active for four games this season, totaling just seven catches and 59 yards. Despite being healthy this week, Tremble is expected to operate as the Panthers' backup tight end behind up-and-coming rookie Ja'Tavion Sanders.
From RotoBaller
Carolina Panthers tight end Tommy Tremble (back) upgraded to a full participant in practice on Friday. However, he is still listed as questionable to face the Denver Broncos in Week 8. The 24-year-old was Carolina's top tight end when healthy, but he only caught seven passes through parts of four games. Since his last appearance in Week 5, rookie Ja'Tavion Sanders has taken on a much bigger role offensively, registering 11 receptions and 110 yards over his two most recent games. The stats would suggest that Sanders starts at tight end in Week 8, even if Tremble is healthy enough to play.

Carolina Panthers tight end Tommy Tremble (back) is officially inactive for Sunday's game against the Washington Commanders. He had cleared concussion protocol a few days ago but was still questionable for Week 7 with a back issue. Ultimately, he'll have to wait at least one more week before returning to the lineup. Ja'Tavion Sanders and Ian Thomas should operate as Carolina's primary tight ends this Sunday.
From RotoBaller
Carolina Panthers tight end Tommy Tremble (back, concussion) did not practice on Friday and is listed as questionable to face the Washington Commanders this Sunday in Week 7. Meanwhile, Ian Thomas (hip) practiced in full and has been cleared to play. Tremble shed his non-contact jersey in practice on Thursday, but apparently he had a setback with a back injury on Friday and is now up in the air to play this weekend. The 24-year-old suffered a concussion in the Week 5 loss to the Chicago Bears and was inactive for last week's loss to the division-rival Atlanta Falcons. Even if Tremble is cleared to play this Sunday, fantasy managers should be looking elsewhere for a TE2 streamer. He's caught only seven of nine targets for 59 yards and no touchdowns through four games this year. If Tremble misses another game, rookie Ja'Tavion Sanders will get more run.
From RotoBaller
Carolina Panthers tight end Tommy Tremble (concussion) upgraded to a full participant in practice on Thursday. He had been limited on Wednesday, so this development should be considered a step in the right direction. One would have to imagine that Tremble will clear concussion protocol in time to suit up for Week 7 against the Washington Commanders. He'll presumably re-enter the Panthers' offense as their No. 2 tight end behind Ja'Tavion Sanders, keeping him off the fantasy radar in most leagues.
From RotoBaller
Carolina Panthers tight end Tommy Tremble (concussion) was limited in practice on Wednesday. Tremble missed the Panthers' Week 6 game against the Atlanta Falcons due to his injury. His limited participation in practice this early in the week suggests that he is progressing well through the NFL's concussion protocol. Tremble has been virtually irrelevant for fantasy in 2024. In four games played this season, he only has seven receptions for 59 yards and a fumble lost. The Carolina Panthers offense has focused more on the wide receivers and running back Chuba Hubbard (rest). Even if Tremble suits up this weekend, leave him on the waiver wire.
From RotoBaller
The Carolina Panthers have ruled out tight end Tommy Tremble (concussion) from their Week 6 game on Sunday against the division-rival Atlanta Falcons. Tremble was unable to practice all week after getting knocked out in the Week 5 loss to the Chicago Bears. The 24-year-old will need to clear the league's concussion protocol next week in order to gain clearance to play in Week 7 against the Washington Commanders. Ian Thomas (calf) is questionable to come off the Injured Reserve this weekend, but if he does, he'll likely play second fiddle to rookie Ja'Tavion Sanders for the team's primary tight end pass-catching role. Sanders now has some deep-league TE2 streaming appeal with Tremble out. The 21-year-old rookie has caught eight of his 11 targets for 41 yards and no touchdowns in the first five games of his NFL career.
From RotoBaller
Carolina Panthers tight end Tommy Tremble (concussion) did not suit up for Thursday's practice session. Tremble has missed both practices this week after suffering a concussion during last week's loss to the Chicago Bears. Rookie tight end J'Tavion Sanders took over after Tremble's exit and hauled in three passes. Sanders could be asked to start this weekend if Tremble isn't cleared to play. He won't be a reliable streaming option though considering Tremble was barely targeted when healthy.
From RotoBaller
Carolina Panthers tight end Tommy Tremble (concussion) was held out of the first practice of the week on Wednesday. Tremble suffered a scary-looking concussion in the Week 5 loss to the Chicago Bears and is in the league's concussion protocol this week. He still has two more days to improve, but just based on how he looked on Sunday, it would be a surprise if he suited up this weekend against the division-rival Atlanta Falcons. Tremble being inactive in Week 6 would open up more playing time for rookie Ja'Tavion Sanders, but fantasy managers should be able to find better TE2 streaming options. Ian Thomas (calf) practiced in full on Wednesday and could come off Injured Reserve to play this weekend, but he, too, should be avoided in fantasy. In four games in 2024, Tremble has only seven receptions for 59 yards. He's off the fantasy radar.
From RotoBaller
Carolina Panthers tight end Tommy Tremble (concussion) is officially in the league's concussion protocol on Monday after suffering a head injury in the team's Week 5 loss to the Chicago Bears on Sunday. Tremble was knocked out cold by Bears safety Jaquan Brisker after a catch on Sunday, and just by the way it looked, we would not be surprised if Tremble was unavailable to play in Week 6 against the division-rival Atlanta Falcons this weekend. He has only seven catches on nine targets for 59 yards and no touchdowns in four games this year and isn't a realistic fantasy tight end in most leagues when he's healthy. If Tremble is forced to miss any time, rookie Ja'Tavion Sanders would see an elevated role in the passing game in Carolina, although he, too, wouldn't really move the fantasy needle as anything more than a deep TE2 sleeper.
From RotoBaller
Carolina Panthers tight end Tommy Tremble (concussion) took a huge helmet-to-helmet hit in the second quarter which knocked him unconscious for a while. It was a scary scene as the team's medical staff checked him out on the field and later ruled him out for the rest of the game. Unfortunately, that was Tremble's only catch on the day as well. The rookie Ja'Tavion Sanders has taken his place and currently has two receptions for three yards on three targets.
From RotoBaller
Carolina Panthers tight end Tommy Tremble can be safely avoided by fantasy managers in Week 5 when he takes on the Chicago Bears in a road tilt. Tremble is off the injury report ahead of Carolina's away matchup this Sunday but will not be a recommended fantasy option. The 24-year-old played 61 snaps in last week's contest compared to just 20 for rookie Ja'Tavion Sanders. However, the 21-year-old racked up two receptions and 12 yards, while the veteran did not receive a single target. Additionally, wide receiver Diontae Johnson has been a target vacuum, and rookie wideout Xavier Legette may be emerging as a second option for quarterback Andy Dalton. This leaves Tremble vying for the remaining targets with Sanders, WR Jonathan Mingo, and running back Chuba Hubbard. It will be difficult to trust anyone outside of Johnson, Hubbard, and Legette -- particularly against a Chicago defense that's allowed just 698 yards and two scores through the air to opposing offenses thus far.
From RotoBaller
Carolina Panthers tight end Tommy Tremble is sharing time with Ja'Tavion Sanders but emerged as the primary tight end on the team in Week 3 seeing more snaps and out-targeting Sanders. Tremble finished Week 3's win over the Raiders with three catches for 29 yards on three targets. The Notre Dame product is fully recovered from a hamstring injury that caused him to miss Week 1. However, with Chuba Hubbard garnering a large workload in the backfield and Diontae Johnson commanding a big target share, Tremble isn't a big piece of the offensive pie at the moment. That makes him touchdown-dependent for fantasy purposes and thus a risky play in Week 4 at the position. Until he shows more, Tremble should be left on the waiver wire.
From RotoBaller
Carolina Panthers tight end Tommy Tremble (back, hamstring) doesn't carry an injury designation into the Week 3 contest at Allegiant Stadium on Sunday against the Las Vegas Raiders. Tremble missed the Week 1 loss to the New Orleans Saints before making his season debut in last week's loss to the Los Angeles Chargers, when he played two fewer snaps than rookie Ja'Tavion Sanders and caught three passes for 23 yards. The 24-year-old was limited in practice all week and is ready for his second game of the season. Tremble could see more snaps on offense this week as he's another week removed from his injuries, and he should have more upside now that veteran quarterback Andy Dalton is taking over for Bryce Young, but Tremble should still not be a realistic starting candidate for any fantasy managers in Week 3.
From RotoBaller
Carolina Panthers tight end Tommy Tremble (hamstring/back) is anticipated to play against the Chargers on Sunday. The 2021 No. 83 overall pick has battled hamstring and back issues for a while, keeping him off the field for the Week 1 loss to the New Orleans Saints. As a result, Ja'Tavion Sanders got more involved, although the rookie finished with only one grab for four yards. While Tremble's expected return for Week 2 is good news for the Panthers offense, he has an uphill battle before fantasy managers can consider him a starting option in any format.
From RotoBaller
Carolina Panthers tight end Tommy Tremble (hamstring, back) is listed as questionable ahead of the Week 2 matchup against the Los Angeles Chargers. Tremble sat out in Week 1 and hasn't practiced in full all week with only limited sessions thus far. Despite that, head coach Dave Canales says Tremble is expected to suit up this weekend. His return would take away snaps from rookie Ja'Tavion Sanders who played over 70 percent of the snaps in Week 1. The Panthers offense looked atrocious in the season opener, so even a healthy Tremble would still be a shaky fantasy option.
From RotoBaller
Carolina Panthers tight end Tommy Tremble (hamstring/back) put in another limited practice on Thursday, marking his second day in a row with that designation. The Notre Dame product did not practice at all last week with hamstring and back injuries, so he's in a better spot to potentially play in Week 2 against the Los Angeles Chargers. The 24-year-old has not cracked the 200-yard mark in a single season and has just 548 receiving yards through his first 49 career games. That said, he's far from the fantasy radar, especially as a part of arguably the worst offense in the NFL led by former No. 1 overall pick Bryce Young.
