Houston Texans wide receiver Nico Collins (hamstring) is inactive for Sunday night's matchup against the Detroit Lions. Collins was activated from the injured reserve on Friday. He logged a limited practice on Friday and was a game-time decision for Sunday Night Football. However, the 25-year-old isn't quite ready to return to action after missing the last four games with a hamstring injury. He was having a phenomenal season before landing on the IR, catching 32 passes for 567 yards and three touchdowns over five games. Collins' next chance to return will be Week 11 against the Dallas Cowboys on Monday night. Tank Dell (back) will be quarterback C.J. Stroud's No. 1 target with Collins sidelined, and look for John Metchie III, Xavier Hutchinson, and Robert Woods to see an uptick in snaps.

Houston Texans wide receiver Nico Collins (hamstring) has been activated from the Injured Reserve ahead of the Week 10 matchup against the Detroit Lions. Collins missed the minimum four games on the IR after suffering a hamstring injury in Week 4. The Texans could desperately use Collins on the field with Stefon Diggs (knee) done for the season. Currently, Collins is listed as questionable and considered a game-time decision for Sunday's game. Fellow wideout Tank Dell (back) is also banged up, but is expected to play. If active, Collins would likely be on a snap count and could be a risky option for Week 10.

Houston Texans wide receiver Nico Collins (hamstring) was activated off the Injured Reserve list, the team announced on Saturday. While he remains questionable for Sunday's clash with the Detroit Lions, fantasy managers could get him back in the lineup for the first time since Week 5. The 25-year-old was having a monster season before going on the shelf, totaling 32 catches for 567 yards and three touchdowns in just over four games. But with Stefon Diggs (knee) done for the remainder of the 2024-25 campaign, Collins may get even more involved.

Houston Texans wide receiver Nico Collins (hamstring) is listed as questionable for Sunday's tilt against the Detroit Lions. Collins has been on the injured reserve since Week 5 but was designated to return to practice earlier on Friday. During the practice session, Collins participated in a limited capacity. Fantasy managers should continue to monitor his status over the weekend as he may be a game-time decision on Sunday evening. Before sustaining the hamstring injury, Collins was enjoying a fantastic start to his season as he averaged a stellar 21.3 PPR points in each game across the first five weeks. During this span, Collins saw nine targets per game and tallied an impressive 113.4 yards per game. If Collins suits up, fantasy managers should lock him into their lineups as a high-end WR1.

Houston Texans wide receiver Nico Collins (hamstring) has been designated to return from the injured reserve according to Ari Meirov of the 33rd Team. Fantasy managers should continue to monitor his status for this weekend's game against the Detroit Lions as he has been unable to practice this week. Collins has been sidelined since suffering a hamstring injury during their Week 5 game against the Buffalo Bills. Before his injury, Collins was enjoying a fantastic start to the season as he averaged a stellar 21.3 PPR points per game with 6.4 receptions and 113.4 yards per game. If Collins is able to suit up this weekend, he should locked into all lineups as a high-end WR1 facing a Detroit secondary who has allowed the third-most PPR points to opposing wideouts.

Houston Texans wide receiver Nico Collins (hamstring) is still not practicing on Thursday as he works his way back from a hamstring injury. The 25-year-old has been sidelined on the Injured Reserve list since Week 5, and although his hamstring is reportedly feeling much better, it seems like he's on the wrong side of questionable for Week 10 against the Detroit Lions. Collins scored at least 14.7 half-PPR fantasy points in four of his first five games and was leading the NFL in receiving yards before getting hurt. If Collins cannot play this week, fellow wideout Tank Dell is a virtual must-start in a favorable matchup against the Detroit secondary. Fantasy managers holding out hope for Collins should monitor his practice status and official game designation on Friday afternoon.

Houston Texans wide receiver Nico Collins (hamstring) has been on the Injured Reserve list since suffering a hamstring injury in Week 5 against the Buffalo Bills. He is eligible to return this week, and the team is still determining whether or not he will play on Sunday Night Football against the Detroit Lions. However, he is not practicing on Wednesday despite passing tests on his hamstring. It's tough to say whether or not he'll be active this week, but more information will come out as Sunday approaches, so fantasy managers should be sure to monitor his latest updates and developments. Collins led the NFL in receiving yards before suffering the unfortunate injury, and although he will carry the risk of being limited if he plays, he's a must-start in a matchup with the Detroit defense that has allowed the third-most fantasy points per game to wideouts. If he can't go, Tank Dell becomes a virtual must-start.

Houston Texans wide receiver Nico Collins (hamstring), who is eligible to be designated to return from Injured Reserve this week, is recovering and running 20 mph in training sessions, according to a source. However, head coach DeMeco Ryans sounded non-committal on Collins' status for Week 10 against the Detroit Lions, saying, "We'll continue to evaluate Nico throughout the week and see where he is." The 25-year-old hasn't had any setbacks with the right-hamstring injury he suffered on Oct. 6, but it's unclear if he'll actually be available to play this weekend versus Detroit. If Collins is active in Week 10, there's the risk for fantasy managers that he won't play his typical amount of snaps. Before his injury, Collins was a must-start WR1 and he should be the clear WR1 in Houston eventually now that Stefon Diggs (knee) is out for the year.
From RotoBaller
Houston Texans wide receiver Nico Collins (hamstring), who is currently on Injured Reserve with a hamstring injury, is doing well in his recovery and hasn't had any setbacks, according to sources. Collins will have to miss at least two more games, but there is optimism that his original three- to four-week timetable is on track. The earliest he'll be eligible to come off IR and play will be on Nov. 10 at home in Week 10 against the Detroit Lions. The 25-year-old was among the league's leading receivers at the time of his injury, so he obviously needs to be stashed by all fantasy managers for a couple more weeks. Hopefully Collins can pick up where he left off when he's back after catching 32 of 45 targets for 567 yards and three touchdowns in five games played. For another two weeks, Stefon Diggs and Tank Dell will have higher ceilings with Collins sidelined.

Dynasty | The Texans have placed wide receiver Nico Collins on injured reserve. Dynasty Analysis: Collins has gone from an afterthought, to a serviceable receiver, to a possible lineup staple, to a WR1, to perhaps the best receiver in fantasy leagues over the past three years. This is a major buzzkill as he has been flat-out dominant. Savvy owners who aren't competing right now could make a "buy low" play for his services to a team desperate to win, but you're not likely to get him. Unfortunately, he's going to be out for at least four weeks and that should open up targets for Tank Dell, Stefon Diggs, Dalton Schultz and others.
Houston Texans wide receiver Nico Collins (hamstring) is being placed on the Injured Reserve list on Wednesday, meaning he will have to miss at least the next four games. The star wideout suffered a hamstring injury after catching a 67-yard touchdown pass in the Week 5 win over the Buffalo Bills. Collins was No. 2 in total PPR fantasy points heading into Week 5, so this is obviously a crushing blow for his fantasy managers. He will be ineligible to return until Week 10 against the Detroit Lions. With Collins sidelined, Stefon Diggs could be a top-five fantasy wideout during his absence, and Tank Dell, who has struggled so far, will likely have a WR2/WR3 outlook in most matchups. Deep-league fantasy managers might want to kick tires on veteran Robert Woods, but youngsters Xavier Hutchinson and John Metchie III could become fantasy factors. Tight end Dalton Schultz could also benefit in this situation.

After initially being deemed day-to-day on Monday, Houston Texans head coach DeMeco Ryans said that the team will evaluate wide receiver Nico Collins (hamstring) "week-to-week." "It takes a hamstring a couple weeks," Ryans said. Collins managed to catch both of his targets for 78 yards and his third touchdown of the season in the Week 5 win over the Buffalo Bills before leaving the game, and now his status for the Week 6 contest against the New England Patriots is firmly up in the air. Fantasy managers should already be preparing as if he won't be available this week. The 25-year-old's status will be more clear once the Texans hold a few practices later this week. He currently has a league-high 567 receiving yards through five weeks and would be a big loss for Houston's offense. Second-year wideout Tank Dell, would be the biggest beneficiary in the Texans offense from a fantasy standpoint if Collins misses any time.
From RotoBaller
Houston Texans wide receiver Nico Collins (hamstring) was forced to leave the team's game on Sunday against the Buffalo Bills after hauling in a 67-yard touchdown pass from C.J. Stroud. According to Adam Schefter, the team is now considering Collins day-to-day with the hamstring injury that he seemingly suffered on that play. While the Texans were able to hold on and win the game, losing Collins would be a big blow to the offense while the backfield is already banged up. Collins is currently the WR2 on the season in half-PPR formats, so his status will need to be monitored throughout the week with hamstring issues usually causing more nagging problems.
From RotoBaller
Houston Texans wide receiver Nico Collins (hamstring) didn't return to Sunday's matchup with the Buffalo Bills. He's been one of the NFL's top wideouts this season. Unfortunately, there's concern about his health moving ahead after suffering a hamstring injury in Week 5. According to KPRC's Aaron Wilson, the Texans are "optimistic" that the injury is "short-term," so it appears fantasy managers could see him back for the Week 6 matchup with the New England Patriots. Collins will likely undergo more tests in the next day or two and may also miss some practices. If he's ruled out, it will likely mean more targets for Stefon Diggs and Tank Dell.
From RotoBaller
Houston Texans wide receiver Nico Collins (hamstring) has been ruled out of the rest of their game against the Buffalo Bills on Sunday. Collins hauled in a huge 67-yard touchdown pass before exiting in the first half. The star wide receiver finishes the game with two receptions for 78 yards and one score on two targets. Since hamstring injuries are always tricky, his status is something to monitor closely as this week goes on. Xavier Hutchinson has been the one to come into the game and receive targets while Tank Dell and Stefon Diggs should see an uptick in opportunities.
From RotoBaller
Houston Texans wide receiver Nico Collins (hamstring) is questionable to return to Sunday's matchup with the Buffalo Bills. The wideout was on a roll before going down with a hamstring injury, catching two passes for 78 yards and a touchdown. There should be an update on his status soon. But in the meantime, Stefon Diggs and Tank Dell will remain the top receiving options for C.J. Stroud.
From RotoBaller
The Buffalo Bills have been awfully tough on pass catchers in 2024, but Houston Texans wide receiver Nico Collins remains in elite territory as the two sides prepare to clash in Week 5. The 25-year-old receiver looks to be entering his prime with a capable supporting cast, and the early returns have been excellent. Collins leads the NFL in receiving yardage and is drawing 10.8 targets per game. Buffalo has allowed the third-fewest air yards in the NFL and ranks No. 1 against fantasy wide receivers, though Collins has produced against everybody he has played in 2024. Until that changes, the Michigan product should be valued as a WR1 in any format.
From RotoBaller
Texans' WR Nico Collins scored an astounding 33.10 fantasy points in Sunday's Week 4 win against the Jaguars. Collins caught 12 passes for 151 yards with one touchdown. It's the 2nd time this season Collins scored at least 25 fantasy points in a game.
Dynasty | Texans wide receiver Nico Collins had 12 catches for 151 yards and a touchdown in the Texans win against Jacksonville. Dynasty Analysis: Collins has established himself as a true WR1 in dynasty leagues this season with nearly 500 yards in just four games so far this season. Even better, he has a whopping 43 targets on the season, with three different games featuring at least ten. The questions about Collins breakout season last year being a fluke have been answered and he looks like a player to build around in dynasty leagues at this point. At just 25 years old, Collins looks like one of the "untouchable" players in dynasty leagues when it comes to trades right now.
Another week, another impressive stat line from Houston Texans wide receiver Nico Collins, who compiled 12 catches for 151 yards and a touchdown in a 24-20 victory against Jacksonville. The NFL's receiving yards leader was productive from the outset. Once again the target leader for Houston with a whopping 15, the former Michigan Wolverine caught a three-yard touchdown pass from quarterback C.J. Stroud in the first half for the Texans' second touchdown. Collins will look for yet another big performance when the Texans play host to the Buffalo Bills in Week 5.
