New York Giants head coach Brian Daboll praised new running back Devin Singletary regarding his knowledge of the offense heading into his first year with the team. "Devin's been a productive back when he was with me at Buffalo. He knows our system inside and out," Daboll said. Singletary signed a three-year, $16.5 million deal with the G-Men in free agency and is the clear lead back in New York now that Saquon Barkley is no longer around. The 26-year-old is familiar with Daboll's offensive concepts from their time together in Buffalo, but Singletary has never really operated as a true workhorse back, so fantasy managers should expect him to get plenty of help from Eric Gray and rookie Tyrone Tracy Jr. Behind an offensive line that was atrocious in 2023 and with a quarterback coming off an ACL tear, Singletary is no sure thing, making him more of an RB3/flex target in drafts.

Dynasty | The Giants have signed running back Devin Singletary. Dynasty Analysis: Singletary gets $16.5 million over three years to replace Saquon Barkley in the Big Apple. It's a monster deal for a player who has largely underwhelmed in his time in the league. While he's had between 800 and 900 rushing yards in each of the past three seasons, he's never really put together any long stretch of dominance and looked ordinary for much of his time. Still, it's a decent situation and while he'll likely be paired with another running back or two, he should retain some good value. His ranking of RB44 seems about right at the moment.
Free-agent running back Devin Singletary is expected to sign a three-year, $16.5 million deal to join the New York Giants, according to NFL insider Adam Schefter. This report comes just after the news of Saquon Barkley signing with the Philadelphia Eagles, so Singletary will presumably have a chance to carry a hefty workload for the G-Men in 2024. In his only season with the Houston Texans, Singletary set career-highs in carries (216) and rushing yards (898). Before his stint in Houston, he spent time with Giants head coach Brian Daboll in Buffalo, so there is a previous connection. As long as the Giants don't use high draft capital on a running back, the job should belong to Singletary, giving him fringe RB2 upside in fantasy football.

Houston Texans running back Devin Singletary totaled 14 touches in the team's 34-10 Divisional Round loss against the Baltimore Ravens. With the run game not working early, Singletary was leaned on more in the passing game on Saturday. He ran just nine times for 22 yards while catching five passes for 48 yards. Singletary was the Texans' lead back for most of the year and will enter the offseason as a free agent. If he returns to Houston, he could regain lead running back duties in 2024.

Houston Texans running back Devin Singletary will look to carry his solid season into the team's Divisional Round matchup against the Baltimore Ravens. Singletary was efficient last week in the Wild-Card Round win, totaling 13 rushes for 66 yards and one touchdown. The Ravens' defense has been elite all season, and they've only allowed five rushing touchdowns in 2023. However, Singletary has totaled at least 60 rush yards in five of the past six contests, making him a safe option in daily fantasy sports (DFS) contests this weekend.

Houston Texans running back Devin Singletary scored a late touchdown to put the game out of reach in the team's 45-14 blowout win in the Wild-Card Round against the Cleveland Browns. Singletary continued his strong season into the playoffs and ran 13 times for 66 yards and one touchdown on Saturday. He also caught three passes for four yards in the contest. The veteran assumed RB1 duties again in the first round of the playoffs, and his 19-yard score early in the fourth quarter gave the Texans a 31-point lead. Singletary will look to keep that momentum going in the Divisional Round.

Houston Texans running back Devin Singletary will enter the playoffs against the Cleveland Browns as the team's RB1. Singletary has been the Texans' hot hand out of the backfield over the past two-plus months. The veteran has also put together a nice stretch of games, rushing for over 60 yards in four of the past five contests. However, the one game he failed to reach that mark was back in Week 16 against this Cleveland run defense. He did see a limited workload in that contest due to Houston getting behind early. But with C.J. Stroud under center for this game, Singletary should see the volume to be a solid option this weekend.

Houston Texans running back Devin Singletary capped off a solid regular season in the team's 23-19 win over the Indianapolis Colts in Week 18. Singletary continued working as the Texans' top running back on Saturday, which included carrying the ball 24 times for 63 yards and one touchdown. No other Houston running back touched the ball on offense in the game. The veteran was also key in the Texans' victory after he scored the game-winning touchdown on a three-yard score late in the contest. The touchdown helped send Houston back to the playoffs for the first time since 2019.

Houston Texans running back Devin Singletary will look to continue his strong season in Week 18 against the Indianapolis Colts. Singletary has taken over the Texans' backfield and has posted at least 65 rush yards in three of the past four games. Last week, the 26-year-old ran 16 times for 80 yards while also catching three passes for six yards. Now, he'll go up against a Colts' run defense that has struggled to contain fantasy running backs this season. Indianapolis has given up the fourth-most fantasy points to that position group in 2023, making Singletary a nice option in Week 18.

Houston Texans running back Devin Singletary rushed for 80 yards on 16 carries during Sunday's win over the Tennessee Titans. He also caught all three of his targets for an additional six yards through the air. It's safe to say that Singletary has emerged as the Texans' best running back this season and has positioned himself quite well to earn a starting job during free agency. Until then, he'll remain the preferred backfield option in Houston, ranking as an RB2 in fantasy football with a favorable matchup against the Indianapolis Colts on tap.

Houston Texans running back Devin Singletary will look to get back on track in Week 17 against the Tennessee Titans. Last week, Singletary had just 12 touches for 63 yards in the loss. But a better game could be in store for the 26-year-old this weekend. Just two weeks ago, Singletary ran all over Tennessee, carrying the ball 26 times for 121 yards and catching four passes for 49 yards. With quarterback C.J. Stroud (concussion) back under center, the Texans should be able to move the ball on Sunday, making the running back an RB2 option in Week 17.
From RotoBaller
Houston Texans running back Devin Singletary was phased out of the game plan in Sunday's 36-22 loss to the Cleveland Browns, taking nine carries for 44 yards with three catches for 19 yards. The final score doesn't tell the story of how overmatched this Texans appeared in Week 16 without starting quarterback C.J. Stroud (concussion), as Houston snuck in a few garbage-time touchdowns. Singletary ran well when handed the chance, just as he has for the past month and a half, but he didn't stand much of a chance at ample production given the extreme level of negative game script. Still, the former Buffalo Bill can cap off his run as a difference-making midseason fantasy pickup with a strong display as the team's lead back at home versus the Tennessee Titans for fantasy-championship week next Sunday. Dameon Pierce scored on a 98-yard kickoff return but had just four touches on Sunday, keeping Singletary in the RB2 vicinity for Week 17.
From RotoBaller
Houston Texans running back Devin Singletary is coming off a career day and will look to continue his strong play in Week 16 against the Cleveland Browns. Last week, Singletary totaled 30 touches for a career-high 170 yards from scrimmage. That helped him finish as the RB7 in PPR formats on the week. The veteran back has provided RB1 value over the past five games and has scored the seventh most fantasy points during that stretch. Even against a tough Browns defense, Singletary should be started in most formats this weekend.
