Baltimore Ravens tight end Mark Andrews went into Thursday night with the hope of more snaps and involvement and cashed in during the 35-34 victory. With Isaiah Likely (hamstring) sidelined, Andrews received seven targets which he turned into six receptions for 68 yards and a touchdown. This was his second-best output of the season and his highest snap share of the year with 87%. Whenever Likely is out, Andrews gains some big-time fantasy value and becomes a borderline must-start. He'll look to replicate this performance in Week 11 against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
From RotoBaller
Baltimore Ravens TE Mark Andrews posted six receptions, 68 yards, and a touchdown during a Week 10 matchup with the Cincinnati Bengals. Andrews was targeted seven times.
Fantasy Spin: Andrews has now scored in four of Baltimore's last five games, totaling five TDs overall during that stretch. The yardage still isn't great -- his 68 yards on Thursday night were a season high -- but he has forced his way back into being a top-10 fantasy tight end after an awful start.
From TheHuddle
Baltimore Ravens tight end Mark Andrews, unfortunately, ended his string of solid fantasy outings in Week 9 as he finished in TE3 territory. Heading into a Week 10 matchup against the Cincinnati Bengals gives him some new hope to return to TE1 though. Isaiah Likely (hamstring) has been ruled out so Andrews should see more than 50% of the snaps on Thursday night. During the first time these two teams matched up this year, Andrews received five targets and ended up with four receptions for 55 yards. The Bengals give up the seventh-most fantasy points per game to opposing tight ends, so the added opportunities against a weaker defense should mean TE1 potential for the veteran.
From RotoBaller
Baltimore Ravens TE Mark Andrews registered two receptions for 26 yards on just two targets in Week 9 against the Denver Broncos.
Fantasy Spin: Andrews has seen his yardage totals go down in each of the past three games, and his three-game touchdown streak was halted. Still, he has done enough in the past month to once again be considered a TE1 in most fantasy leagues. He faces the Cincinnati Bengals on Thursday in Week 10. He had four catches for 55 yards in the first meeting on Oct. 6.
From TheHuddle
Baltimore Ravens tight end Mark Andrews wasn't a big part of the passing game despite the pass-catchers combining for 280 yards. The veteran ended the game with two receptions for 26 yards on two targets. He only received a 10.5% target share and Lamar Jackson only threw the ball 19 times. The game turned into a blowout pretty quickly after a slow first quarter, and the Ravens didn't need to throw the ball that much in the second half. Andrews will look to bounce back against the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 10.
From RotoBaller
Baltimore Ravens tight end Mark Andrews has turned around his fantasy season in a big way over the last few weeks. He's found the end zone in three straight games and finished inside TE1 territory in each one. The Ravens' offense gets another tough test, however, as they play against the Denver Broncos in Week 9. They currently allow 8.2 fantasy points per game to opposing tight ends in half-PPR leagues which ranks 21st in the league. One other issue is the addition of Diontae Johnson which could mean fewer targets for Andrews again. However, Johnson has only participated in less than a week of practices, so Andrews should have TE1 potential for at least one more week.
From RotoBaller
Baltimore Ravens tight end Mark Andrews scored for the third straight week during the 29-24 loss to the Cleveland Browns. Andrews posted five receptions, 36 yards, and a touchdown on five targets. National Tight End Day meant the veteran almost had to score to celebrate properly. This marked his fourth touchdown in three games and his fourth consecutive game with three or more receptions. Lamar Jackson and Andrews seem to have found their rhythm again. The veteran hopes to keep the momentum going in a Week 9 matchup against the Denver Broncos.
From RotoBaller
Baltimore Ravens TE Mark Andrews ended up with five receptions for 36 yards and a touchdown on his five targets in Week 8 against the Cleveland Browns.
Fantasy Spin: Andrews had an awful start to the season, but he has settled in with 16 receptions for 198 yards and four touchdowns in the past four games, including at least one score in three straight outings. He'll look to keep it going in Week 9 against the Denver Broncos. Andrews is back as a legit TE1 in most fantasy leagues.
From TheHuddle
Baltimore Ravens tight end Mark Andrews has finally started to produce the type of fantasy performances that managers have expected. He's finished as the TE3 in each of the last two weeks in half-PPR formats and has gathered 107 yards and three touchdowns on seven receptions. This all has come despite playing right around 50% of snaps. In Week 8, he'll take on the Cleveland Browns who are one of the tougher teams against opposing tight ends. They allow 5.1 fantasy points per game to the position and there are only three other teams that allow fewer. He's a bit of a risky start, but comes in around a low-end TE1, especially if Zay Flowers (ankle) doesn't suit up.
From RotoBaller
Baltimore Ravens tight end Mark Andrews wants everyone to put the word out that he's back up. In their Monday night win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Andrews caught all four of his targets for 41 yards and two touchdowns. This marks two consecutive weeks as the TE3 in half-PPR formats. He's also jumped all the way up to TE9 on the season. The Ravens' offense has become more consistent each week while Lamar Jackson has utilized more of his weapons through the air. This could mean better days ahead for Andrews who will try to score again in Week 8 against the Cleveland Browns.
From RotoBaller
Baltimore Ravens TE Mark Andrews was good for four receptions for 41 yards and two touchdowns on four targets in Week 7 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Fantasy Spin: It was easily the best fantasy line of the season for Andrews, who had been blanked in a couple of his earlier games. This is why you don't cut bait on a player of his caliber, as Andrews still has TE1 ability in most fantasy formats. Next up is a trip to Cleveland in Week 8.
From TheHuddle
Baltimore Ravens tight end Mark Andrews has finally picked up some steam after posting a finish in TE2 territory in Week 5, then a TE1-level finish in Week 6. Andrews received nine targets over the last two games and turned them into seven receptions, 121 yards, and one touchdown. The difficult part of starting Andrews in fantasy lineups is that there's no way to tell which tight end on the Ravens will get targets, if any. On top of that, Tampa Bay is right in the middle of the pack against tight ends, giving up 8.0 fantasy points per game in half-PPR formats. Andrews could be started in a pinch, but it will be a risky decision.
From RotoBaller
Baltimore Ravens tight end Mark Andrews finally found paydirt in the Week 6 victory over the Washington Commanders. The veteran gave fantasy managers what they've been waiting for as he also set a new season-high for receiving yards. Andrews registered 66 yards and a score on three receptions and four targets. It's hard to tell if this is the start of an Andrews revenge tour or if he was just the hot hand this time around. Either way, it helps the Ravens offense to get Andrews going again so the opposing defenders have more to worry about. Andrews will look to gain some momentum in Week 7 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
From RotoBaller
Baltimore Ravens TE Mark Andrews caught three passes for 66 yards and one touchdown against the Washington Commanders in Week 6. He was targeted four passes during the game.
Fantasy Spin: Andrews has been a disappointing fantasy option so far this season but has started to be more involved over the last two games. He is a weekly starting option in fantasy leagues when he receives a consistent role in the passing game.
From TheHuddle
Baltimore Ravens tight end Mark Andrews finally broke his streak of goose eggs in Week 5 when he caught four of five targets for 55 yards against the Cincinnati Bengals. So far, he's only had one week with a finish inside of TE1 territory, and that took a terrible week from tight ends across the league to allow him to finish as the TE10 with seven fantasy points in Week 2. In Week 6, he goes up against the Washington Commanders who have allowed the fifth-fewest fantasy points to opposing tight ends and give up an average of 5.1 per game in half-PPR formats. Andrews hasn't done enough to give any fantasy managers confidence yet. There are better options across the league until Andrews can show some signs of consistency.
From RotoBaller
Baltimore Ravens TE Mark Andrews finished with four receptions for 55 yards on five targets in Week 5 against the Cincinnati Bengals.
Fantasy Spin: Andrews was blanked in each of the past two games, so any stats are an improvement. Based on his previous production, and where he was drafted in fantasy leagues, you cannot drop him. However, he also still cannot be trusted outside of deeper fantasy leagues until he starts producing solid stat lines on the regular.
From TheHuddle
Baltimore Ravens tight end Mark Andrews finally broke his streak of goose eggs during the three-point win over the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday. The veteran caught four of his five targets for 55 yards including a 27-yard catch for his longest play of the day. While this game was a move in the right direction for Andrews, the worrisome part was that both Isaiah Likely and Charlie Kolar were still in the mix and they both caught touchdowns. Sharing snaps with Likely was enough to drop his target share, now fantasy managers have to worry about Kolar stealing some targets away too. The biggest factor will be if the Ravens need to throw as much as they did in this game because Lamar Jackson was finally able to spread fantasy points around to more than one pass-catcher. Andrews and the Ravens will take on the Washington Commanders at home in Week 6.
From RotoBaller
Baltimore Ravens tight end Mark Andrews has caused fantasy managers everywhere to cringe at the sound of his name. The 29-year-old was once one of the easiest set-it-and-forget-it type of players over the last few seasons. Now, he's coming off two games in a row with zero receptions and two total targets. Even though the coaching staff still trusts him, he's going up against the Cincinnati Bengals who are giving up the seventh-fewest fantasy points to opposing tight ends. On top of that, the game plan between him and Isaiah Likely is always hard to predict. Fantasy managers should look elsewhere for tight end contributions in Week 5.
From RotoBaller
Baltimore Ravens tight end Mark Andrews is off to a rough start to his 2024 season. The veteran tight end dropped his lone target of the game during the Week 4 win over the Buffalo Bills. That is now back-to-back games that Andrews has delivered duds to fantasy managers. Ravens' head coach John Harbaugh continues showing faith in Andrews and says that he'll still have some big games catching the ball. It's completely justifiably for fantasy managers to sit Andrews until he starts getting involved on offense. Andrews is heading into a Week 5 matchup against the Cincinnati Bengals and has zero receptions on two targets over the last two games. Fantasy managers are better off looking elsewhere for help ahead of Week 5.
From RotoBaller
Baltimore Ravens TE Mark Andrews will a big factor in the passing game in upcoming games, according to head coach John Harbaugh. 'Andrews is going to definitely have big games here catching the ball. We're going to have a big passing game coming up here at some point in time soon. It's hard to predict when it's going to be because the games go where they go, and the ball goes where it goes and it's just a competitive deal,' Harbaugh said.
Fantasy Spin: Andrews has gone two straight games without a reception and only has six receptions and 65 yards on the season. He can still be a starting option in fantasy leagues because he has posted terrific numbers in the past and could be productive in any game.
