Tennessee Titans wide receiver Calvin Ridley is up against the Green Bay Packers in Week 3 NFL action. The former Alabama star broke out in a big way last week, scoring 24.7 points - good for a WR6 finish against one of the league's best secondaries. It's clear that Ridley still has major juice, and might be heading into matchup-proof territory if he can produce against another tough defensive unit that features Jaire Alexander, another stud cornerback. This passing offense is very inconsistent right now with quarterback Will Levis playing sporadically, but Ridley is far and away the top option on this team and should see another smattering of targets this coming week. Ridley checks in as a mid-tier WR2.

Tennessee Titans wide receiver Calvin Ridley caught four passes for 77 yards and a touchdown, adding a 10-yard rushing touchdown in a loss vs. the New York Jets. It was a monster afternoon for the sixth-year pro, who was able to get in the end zone twice while battling one of the toughest secondaries in the NFL. His 40-yard touchdown reception from Will Levis was a thing of beauty, as Ridley made an incredible grab with First-team All-Pro corner Sauce Gardner right on his back. The former Pro Bowler once again led the Titans in receiving as the clear cut top option in a not-so-great passing attack. Even with quarterback Will Levis' struggles, Ridley should be started in all formats on a weekly basis given his role in the offense. He will look to keep the momentum going against the Packers stiff defensive unit in Week 3.

Tennessee Titans WR Calvin Ridley caught four passes for 77 yards and one touchdown on six targets against the New York Jets in Week 2. He also rushed for 10 yards and one touchdown on one carry during the game.

Fantasy Spin: Ridley has been targeted often in the first two games of the season and should continue to be the main option in the Titans passing game. He can be a weekly starting option in fantasy leagues.

Tennessee Titans wide receiver Calvin Ridley is up against the New York Jets in Week 2 of NFL action this Sunday. While not much went right for the Titans on offense in Week 1, Ridley led the team in targets and receiving yards, which should give fantasy managers some hope moving forward. Quarterback Will Levis will need to be better if Ridley is going to reach WR2 output, but the duo appeared to have some decent chemistry vs. Chicago. However, the Jets present a different kind of challenge. New York returns almost their entire secondary that allowed the fewest points to the WR position in 2023 and Ridley should see plenty of Sauce Gardner, who is one of the best cornerbacks in the game. The matchup definitely downgrades Ridley to a WR3 for this week, but he is still viable given his spot as the top man in the Titans passing attack.

Sep 9 9:20am CT

Tennessee Titans wide receiver Calvin Ridley caught three of seven targets for 50 yards in a 24-17 loss at Chicago. On a day where the Titans struggled to move the ball through the air, Ridley was still able to have a decent afternoon with a 22% target share and over 50% of the Titans passing yards. It's promising for Ridley managers that he was the clear #1 target for this offense, but if quarterback Will Levis struggles to move the ball downfield like he did on Sunday, it will be hard to trust the former Jaguar. Ridley will look to build on this effort in Week 2 against a very stingy New York Jets secondary.

Tennessee Titans wide receiver Calvin Ridley heads into a Week 1 matchup against the Chicago Bears on Sunday. The veteran wideout revitalized his career last season in Jacksonville with over 1,000 yards and eight touchdowns, helping him secure a large payday from the Titans this spring. With DeAndre Hopkins now 32 and in his last year of his contract, Ridley figures to be the WR1 for this offense captained by sophomore quarterback Will Levis. Week 1 presents one of the toughest matchups all year with the Chicago Bears and their formidable secondary led by lockdown corner Jaylon Johnson, who also just signed a massive extension in the offseason. The good news for Ridley owners is that Hopkins is likely to see more of the All-Pro in coverage, meaning the former Alabama star should have his fair share of chances to exploit this defense. Ridley checks in as a low-mid tier WR2 for Week 1 of the NFL season.

Aug 26 11:30am CT

Tennessee Titans wide receiver Calvin Ridley caught two passes for 39 yards on three targets in a 30-27 win against New Orleans on Sunday. The day was highlighted by a 33-yard gain in the first quarter, where quarterback Will Levis showed great patience in the pocket before dealing a strike to Ridley. It was a modest preseason for Ridley, who played sparingly, only recording one catch in the other two preseason contests. With DeAndre Hopkins' status still in question for opening week, Ridley appears locked into the WR1 position for the Titans as they set their sights on the Chicago Bears. Consider him a strong WR3 as the top pass-catching option in Tennessee with a healthy amount of upside if Levis can bring his game to the next level.

Tennessee Titans WR Calvin Ridley (ankle) suffered an ankle injury during practice on Saturday, July 27, but is doing fine, head coach Brian Callahan said.

Mar 26 1:10pm CT

Tennessee Titans wide receiver Calvin Ridley is expected to see a lot of targets in his first year with the team in 2024. "You're looking at a very similar role to what Ja'Marr Chase played," Titans head coach Brian Callahan said. The new Titans head coach previously coached Chase as the offensive coordinator with the Cincinnati Bengals. Ridley might not be the overall talent that Chase is, but his fantasy price is going to go up considerably if the Titans indeed use Ridley similarly to how Chase is used in Cincinnati. With the Jacksonville Jaguars in 2023, the 29-year-old was mostly used as a deep threat on the outside and finished with the second 1,000-yard season of his career and eight touchdowns in 17 starts. If he's running more intermediate routes out of the slot in 2024, Ridley's fantasy ceiling could be even higher.

Mar 26 11:43am CT

Tennessee Titans WR Calvin Ridley will play 'a very similar role to what Ja'Marr (Chase) played' in new head coach Brian Callahan's offense when he was the offensive coordinator for the Cincinnati Bengals.

Fantasy Spin: It comes as no surprise that Ridley is expected to become a featured part of Tennessee's offense with a new contract that averages $23 million per season in annual value, but there are enough differences between Chase and Ridley to suspect the Titans would use them differently. Assuming Callahan is being honest, fantasy managers should expect Ridley to run significantly more short and intermediate routes than he did last season as well as more usage out of the slot. It is great news for his current and future investors. As long as Will Levis is up to the task, Ridley could push for WR1 production in 2024.
