New Orleans Saints TE Taysom Hill (chest) practiced in full once again on Thursday, Sept. 26.

Fantasy Spin: Hill is squarely on track to return this week but remains a boom-or-bust TE2 play.

From TheHuddle

Sep 26 12:20am ET

New Orleans Saints tight end Taysom Hill (chest) was a full participant in practice on Wednesday, according to John Hendrix of Sports Illustrated. Hill appears to be making significant progress after missing Week 3 due to injury. The veteran playmaker's full participation in practice suggests that he's on track to play against the Atlanta Falcons without any limitations this coming Sunday, barring a setback. Hill didn't deliver enough production to make him a top fantasy option through the first two weeks of the season, but his role as the Saints' Swiss army knife still gives him some fantasy appeal going forward. He should be treated as a mid-range TE2 this week.

Sep 25 4:53pm ET

New Orleans Saints TE Taysom Hill (chest) fully participated in practice Wednesday, Sept. 25.

Fantasy Spin: Hill appears to be on track to return to the lineup after missing some time because of the injury. He likely will be involved in the running and passing game if he plays but probably can be avoided in most leagues.

New Orleans Saints tight end Taysom Hill (lung) didn't suit up for Sunday's meeting with the Philadelphia Eagles. He was uncertain to play entering the contest after being hospitalized following the Week 2 meeting with the Cowboys with a chest injury. Fox's Jay Glazer shed more light on the issue, with the NFL insider reporting the 34-year-old has a bruised lung. Considering the delicate nature of this type of injury, it may take Hill a little longer to heal. With that in mind, fantasy managers will await an update ahead of the Saints' Week 4 game versus the Atlanta Falcons. In the meantime, Juwan Johnson could see a few more targets behind Foster Moreau. However, Johnson has limited value in multi-tight end setups.

The New Orleans Saints have declared WR A.T. Perry, LB D'Marco Jackson, QB Spencer Rattler, TE Taysom Hill, WR Bub Means and DL Khalen Saunders inactive for Week 3.

From TheHuddle

Sep 22 11:23am ET

New Orleans Saints TE Taysom Hill (chest) has been ruled out for Week 3's game against the Philadelphia Eagles.

Fantasy Spin: Hill logged a pair of limited practice sessions during the week but saw his injury report status downgraded from questionable to doubtful to out over the last 48 hours. TE Foster Moreau will likely receive the starting nod but he and the other New Orleans tight ends can be ignored for fantasy purposes this afternoon.

From TheHuddle

Sep 22 11:20am ET

New Orleans Saints tight end Taysom Hill (chest), who was doubtful to play in the Week 3 showdown against the Philadelphia Eagles, has officially been ruled out on Sunday. Hill suffered a chest injury in the Week 2 blowout win over the Dallas Cowboys and was even hospitalized shortly before being released. The do-it-all offensive weapon will now try to work his way back for a Week 4 meeting against the division-rival Atlanta Falcons next weekend. The 34-year-old is one of the most versatile players in all of football, but he has only eight carries for 53 yards and has caught two of his three targets for two yards in two blowout victories for the Saints so far in 2024, so it's hard to really rely on him in fantasy as anything more than a boom/bust TE2 on a weekly basis. With Hill sidelined against Philly, expect more targets for Juwan Johnson.

Sep 21 4:50pm ET

New Orleans Saints tight end Taysom Hill (chest) has been downgraded to doubtful for Sunday's matchup against the Philadelphia Eagles. The veteran tight end left the Week 2 win over the Dallas Cowboys with a chest injury and spent time at a local hospital getting tests done. Thankfully, he avoided a significant injury. However, Hill was a limited participant in practice the past two days, making him a likely longshot to play against the Eagles. Juwan Johnson will see an uptick in targets and snaps, with Hill likely out of the lineup.

From RotoBaller

Sep 21 4:33pm ET

New Orleans Saints TE Taysom Hill (chest) was downgraded from questionable to doubtful for Week 3 on Saturday, Sept. 21.

Fantasy Spin: It looks like fantasy owners won't have to decide whether or not to ride the Taysom Hill roller coaster this week. All other Saints tight ends can be avoided.

From TheHuddle

Sep 20 4:43pm ET

New Orleans Saints DT Khalen Saunders (calf) did not practice on Friday, Sept. 20, and was ruled out for Week 3. Also, OT Landon Young (foot) did not practice but is questionable, LB D'Marco Jackson (calf), TE Taysom Hill (chest) and S Will Harris (shin) were limited and are questionable, WR A.T. Perry (illness) practiced in full but is questionable, WR Cedrick Wilson (abdomen) was limited but carries no designation, and LB Jaylan Ford (hamstring), WR Rashid Shaheed (hip), CB Marshon Lattimore (hamstring), OT Taliese Fuaga (back), and S Tyrann Mathieu (heel) practiced in full and were removed from the injury report.

From TheHuddle

Sep 20 4:43pm ET

New Orleans Saints TE Taysom Hill (chest) was limited at practice once again on Friday, Sept. 20, and is questionable for Week 3.

Fantasy Spin: The lack of a full practice this week suggests Hill doesn't have a good shot to play. Per usual, he's a boom-or-bust tight end option if he does suit up.

From TheHuddle

Sep 20 3:00pm ET

New Orleans Saints tight end Taysom Hill (chest) is currently considered as questionable ahead of the Week 3 matchup against the Philadelphia Eagles. The veteran tight end sat out of Wednesday's practice, but was able to get through a session on Thursday. He was limited on Friday and as a result will be tagged as questionable for this weekend. If healthy, Hill is a boom-or-bust TE2 otherwise Juwan Johnson figures to see more chances. Johnson is a desperation option in deep leagues if Hill is unable to play.

From RotoBaller

Sep 19 8:40pm ET

New Orleans Saints tight end Taysom Hill (chest) was listed as a limited practice participant on Thursday after he was held out of the first practice of the week on Wednesday. It's progress for Hill, but he could still be up in the air to play in a Week 3 home showdown against the Philadelphia Eagles. The Swiss Army Knife left the Week 2 blowout win over the Dallas Cowboys last Sunday with a chest injury and had to visit a local hospital in Dallas as a result. The Saints are surprisingly the highest-scoring offense in the league after two weeks, but it's discouraging that Hill has only eight carries for 53 yards while catching two of his three targets for just two yards. Hill played 32% of the offensive snaps in Week 1 before playing 47% of the snaps against Dallas. If the 34-year-old is able to play on Sunday, he'll be a boom/bust TE2 in fantasy, and if he's out, it will make Juwan Johnson a more appealing TE2 sleeper pick.

From RotoBaller

Sep 19 5:53pm ET

New Orleans Saints QB Taysom Hill (chest) was limited during practice Thursday, Sept. 19.

Fantasy Spin: Hill seems to have a chance to play in Week 3, but fantasy players will know more in the next few days. He will be involved in the running and passing game if he is cleared to play but probably can be avoided in a majority of leagues.

From TheHuddle

Sep 18 5:33pm ET

New Orleans Saints QB Taysom Hill (chest) did not participate in practice Wednesday, Sept. 18.

Fantasy Spin: Hill suffered the injury during the last game, so his status for Week 3 is uncertain at this point. He will see a handful of touches in the running and passing game if he plays in Week 3 but is not a strong option for fantasy players.

From TheHuddle

Sep 16 9:33pm ET

New Orleans Saints QB Taysom Hill (chest) checked out fine after suffering a chest injury in Week 2, per source on Monday, Sept. 16.

From TheHuddle

Sep 16 1:20pm ET

New Orleans Saints tight end/fullback Taysom Hill (chest) returned home to New Orleans on Sunday night on the team's charter after being transported from the stadium to the hospital due to a chest injury he suffered in the Week 2 blowout win over the Dallas Cowboys. Hill is scheduled for more tests on Monday, but at the moment, the Saints don't think his injury is overly serious. We'll have a better idea of the 34-year-old's status for a Week 3 showdown with the Philadelphia Eagles once the Saints start practicing later this week. But if Hill is limited or out this weekend, expect to see more pass-catching opportunities for Juwan Johnson and Foster Moreau at tight end and more backfield work for running back Jamaal Williams behind Alvin Kamara. In two games in 2024, Hill has eight carries for 53 yards and has caught just two of three targets for two yards through the air.

From RotoBaller

Sep 15 10:50pm ET

New Orleans Saints tight end Taysom Hill was seldom used in Sunday's 44-19 blowout win over Dallas. The gadget player rushed the ball three times for 18 yards. He also caught his lone target for an additional yard. The showing was disappointing from a fantasy perspective, but there was no need to mix Hill into the game plan in a game that the Saints controlled from the jump. Hill will look to get more involved in Week 3 against the Philadelphia Eagles.

From RotoBaller

Sep 15 5:30pm ET

New Orleans Saints quarterback/tight end Taysom Hill (chest) exited Sunday's win over the Dallas Cowboys. He was transported to the hospital for further evaluation. However, head coach Dennis Allen implied it was likely for precautionary reasons. The 34-year-old had 18 yards off three carries in Week 2. While Hill isn't always featured in fantasy lineups, there is usually a point in every season where he gains streaming attention. Fantasy managers will likely see him referenced on the injury report heading into the Week 3 showdown with the Eagles. There will also likely be an update on his condition soon.
