Jones were limited and are questionable, OT Cam Robinson (knee) was a full participant and has no designation, and DE Arik Armstead (rest) did not practice but carries no designation.

Jacksonville Jaguars TE Evan Engram (hamstring) did not practice once again on Saturday, Sept. 21, and has been ruled out for Week 3.

Fantasy Spin: No surprise here, as head coach Doug Pederson said earlier in the day that Engram wasn't expected to play. Engram's absence offers a slight bump to the Jags' top pass-catchers but Jacksonville doesn't have a viable starting option at tight end behind him.

Sep 21 11:03am CT

Jacksonville Jaguars TE Evan Engram (hamstring) is not expected to play in Week 3's game versus the Buffalo Bills, according to head coach Doug Pederson.

Fantasy Spin: Engram had been held out of the team's first two practice sessions of this week after not playing at all last week. TE Brenton Strange, who had three catches for 65 yards on six targets against the Browns in Week 2, would likely get the starting nod if Engram doesn't suit up but can probably be avoided in most fantasy leagues.

Sep 21 10:10am CT

Jacksonville Jaguars tight end Evan Engram (hamstring) won't play on Monday night against the Buffalo Bills. The 30-year-old hasn't practiced all week after injuring his hamstring ahead of the Week 2 clash with the Browns, although the Jags are hopeful he will return for the team's next contest against the Houston Texans. As a result, Brenton Strange will likely fill the void in the lineup, with the 23-year-old coming off a three-catch, 65-yard outing versus Cleveland. However, that type of production won't be enough to earn Strange a spot in most fantasy lineups. The same can be said for Luke Farrell, the No. 3 tight end on the depth chart, who had two grabs for 12 yards in Week 2.

Sep 20 6:00pm CT

Jacksonville Jaguars tight end Evan Engram (hamstring) missed a second straight practice this week on Friday and appears to be trending toward missing a second straight game in Week 3 on Monday night against the Buffalo Bills. Engram injured his hamstring during pre-game warmups before the Week 2 loss to the Cleveland Browns. He will likely need to return to practice on Saturday to avoid being ruled out on the final injury report of the week. As of right now, fantasy managers should plan to be without the 30-year-old veteran. With Engram out last Sunday, Brenton Strange stepped up as the top pass-catching TE and played 68% of the offensive snaps, catching three of his six targets for 65 yards. The Bills defense has been vulnerable so far through two games to the TE position, but Strange will still be only a TE2 sleeper for fantasy lineups if Engram misses a second straight game.

Jacksonville Jaguars TE Evan Engram (hamstring) did not practice once again on Friday, Sept. 20.

Fantasy Spin: Engram got injured during pregame warm ups last week and did not suit up. He appears to be trending toward not playing once again in Week 3. After ranking as TE2 overall in 2023, Engram must be in lineups if he plays.

Jacksonville Jaguars TE Evan Engram (hamstring) did not participate in practice Thursday, Sept. 19.

Fantasy Spin: Engram suffered the injury during pregame warmups last week and could miss another game if he does not practice at some point this week. He is a risky option since the Jaguars play on Monday Night Football, so fantasy players may want to consider another option and keep Engram on the bench for Week 3.

Sep 19 12:40pm CT

Jacksonville Jaguars head coach Doug Pederson said that tight end Evan Engram (hamstring) "is a little further away" in terms of being able to play in Week 3 on Monday night against the Buffalo Bills, and the team is going to take his status day by day. Engram injured his hamstring during pre-game warmups last Sunday and was inactive in the loss to the Cleveland Browns. The 30-year-old is deemed week-to-week, and it doesn't sound promising that he'll be able to suit up in Week 3 on Monday night, so fantasy managers should already be looking for alternatives at the TE position. In Engram's absence in Week 2, Brenton Strange played 68% of the offensive snaps and caught three of his six targets for 65 yards. Luke Farrell played 47% of the snaps and caught both of his targets for 13 yards. If Engram misses another contest, Strange will be in play as a TE2 sleeper in fantasy.

Jacksonville Jaguars TE Evan Engram (hamstring) is 'a little bit further away' from returning, head coach Doug Pederson told reporters Thursday, Sept. 19.

Fantasy Spin: Engram injured his hamstring during pregame warmups in Week 2 so there's a high chance he's going to miss this game. The Jaguars offense has struggled so managers may want to find a pivot option anyway.

Jacksonville Jaguars TE Evan Engram (hamstring) is considered week-to-week, head coach Doug Pederson told reporters Monday, Sept. 16.

Fantasy Spin: Engram suffered his injury during warm-ups ahead of Week 2 so managers will likely need to find a viable pivot option during his absence.

From TheHuddle

Sep 16 1:50pm CT

Jacksonville Jaguars tight end Evan Engram (hamstring) is considered week-to-week as per coach Doug Pederson. Engram was a surprise addition to the Jags' injury report after sustaining a hamstring injury during pre-game warmups ahead of yesterday's home tilt against the Cleveland Browns. Jacksonville is now 0-2 on the season and will be without their returning target leader for at least the foreseeable future. In his stead, backup tight end Brenton Strange caught 3-of-6 passes for 65 yards, while Luke Farrell caught both his targets for 13 yards. The two will continue to fill the gap in the lineup while Engram is deemed unfit to suit up. Additionally, wide receivers Gabe Davis, Brian Thomas Jr., and Christian Kirk could see more work now that the injury is known ahead of time. The Jaguars will head to Buffalo to take on the Bills in Week 3.

Jacksonville Jaguars TE Evan Engram (hamstring) suffered a hamstring injury during pregame warmups and will not play in the Week 2 game.

Fantasy Spin: Fantasy players will need to monitor the situation to see how long Engram may be sidelined. Brenton Strange probably will be the starting tight end this week for the Jaguars but can be avoided in fantasy leagues.

Jaguars tight end Evan Engram has been ruled out for the Week 2 game. He suffered a hamstring injury in pregame warmups.

Sep 15 11:10am CT

Jacksonville Jaguars tight end Evan Engram (hamstring) suffered a hamstring injury during pre-game warmups on Sunday and has been ruled out for Week 2 against the visiting Cleveland Browns. Fantasy managers that had Engram in their starting lineups for this weekend are going to have to adjust on the fly. In Jacksonville, Brenton Strange and Luke Farrell will now battle for targets in the passing game with Engram sidelined, but neither player is an acceptable starting replacement for Engram. The most likely scenario is that wide receivers Christian Kirk, rookie Brian Thomas Jr. and Gabe Davis will see more targets through the air against a tough Browns defense. The 30-year-old Engram had a rough season debut last week as well, catching only one of four targets for five yards in the loss to the Miami Dolphins. There's no guarantee he'll be able to play in Week 3 against the Buffalo Bills.

From RotoBaller

Sep 13 12:30am CT

Jacksonville Jaguars tight end Evan Engram had a rough Week 1 against the Miami Dolphins, posting only one catch for five yards. He did have four targets, which tied for the team lead, but in a lackluster offensive team performance, that isn't saying much. Engram will look to bounce back and show he is capable of playing like his TE2 finish in PPR leagues last year. However, Week 2 may be difficult for the 30-year-old, as he faces a stout Cleveland Browns defense that was elite against the pass last year. Establishing the run seems like the ideal strategy for the Jaguars, but they will have to throw the ball to someone. That leaves the door open for a potential mismatch like Engram to have a solid outing, and maybe catch a touchdown to produce a great fantasy outing. Engram is too talented at a shallow position to consider benching, but his upside is somewhat limited in a tough matchup.

From RotoBaller

Sep 9 7:50am CT

Jacksonville Jaguars tight end Evan Engram only had a single catch for five yards in a 17-14 loss to the Miami Dolphins. Week 1 was not kind to the Jaguars from a fantasy perspective, with the offense struggling, especially in the passing game. While the final stat line is concerning, a positive takeaway for Engram was he tied for the team lead in targets with four. The former Giants TE was drafted as a TE1 by most fantasy managers so that this performance will leave a sour taste in their mouths. However, given the volatility and lack of depth in the fantasy position, Engram should still be relied on as a fantasy starter going forward. The Jaguars offense should improve in the coming weeks, meaning Engram should be way more involved. It may not feel great, but Engram should be started once again with expectations for a bounce-back performance in Week 2, even against the tough Cleveland Browns secondary.

From RotoBaller

Sep 8 4:53pm CT

Jacksonville Jaguars TE Evan Engram was limited to just one reception for five yards on four targets in Week 1 against the Miami Dolphins.

Fantasy Spin: It's a tough start for Engram, who should still be considered a TE1. He was targeted four times, which tied a team high, but he and Trevor Lawrence just couldn't get on the same page. It's another tough matchup in Week 2, as the Cleveland Browns come calling, but Engram should still be part of your starting lineup until further notice.

From TheHuddle

Aug 24 5:00am CT

Jacksonville Jaguars tight end Evan Engram caught four passes for 48 yards and two touchdowns in a 31-0 win against the Atlanta Falcons. Engram was a matchup nightmare for Atlanta's backups, especially in the red zone, capping each of Jacksonville's first two drives with a short touchdown. With Travis Kelce getting older, the top of the tight-end rankings has never been wider open. Engram is one of the numerous guys this year with TE1 overall potential. On Yahoo, his ADP is 91, slotting him in at TE8, just after Kyle Pitts. With Calvin Ridley gone, the 29-year-old has huge potential as possibly the top receiving option for Trevor Lawrence. He finished as the TE2 last season, nine points behind Sam LaPorta. Engram could be a massive value in the middle of the draft for those looking to wait on the tight end position.
