Los Angeles Rams WR Cooper Kupp (ankle) did not participate in practice Wednesday, Sept. 25. TE Davis Allen (back) was limited during practice, while OG Logan Bruss (finger) fully participated in practice.

Sep 25 7:30pm ET

Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Cooper Kupp (ankle) is out of his cast and was working with the strength and conditioning/training staff during Wednesday's walkthrough practice. Kupp injured his ankle in the Week 2 loss to the division-rival Arizona Cardinals and missed the Week 3 win over the division-rival San Francisco 49er. He has already been ruled out for Week 4 versus the Chicago Bears this Sunday, but it appears he's making progress. With their bye coming in Week 6, there's a chance that fantasy managers won't have Kupp available for their starting lineups until Week 8 against the Las Vegas Raiders. Fellow wideout Puka Nacua (knee) remains on Injured Reserve, so wideouts Demarcus Robinson, Tyler Johnson, Tutu Atwell and Jordan Whittington will continue sharing targets from quarterback Matthew Stafford.

Sep 23 6:10pm ET

Los Angeles Rams head coach Sean McVay said that wide receiver Cooper Kupp (ankle) will not make it back in time for the Week 4 contest this Sunday at Soldier Field against the Chicago Bears. Kupp injured his ankle in the Week 2 loss against the Arizona Cardinals and didn't play in the Week 3 victory over the division-rival San Francisco 49ers. The 31-year-old avoided a stint on Injured Reserve, unlike teammate Puka Nacua (knee), but Kupp will miss his second straight game this weekend. Fantasy managers and the Rams can only hope that he has a shot to suit up in Week 5 against the Green Bay Packers, but with LA's bye coming in Week 6, it's possible we don't see him again until Week 7 against the Las Vegas Raiders. Kupp was looking more like his All-Pro self in 2021 before hurting his ankle, so hopefully he can return sooner than later. Tutu Atwell led LA with four catches and 93 yards in the Week 3 win.

Sep 23 5:53pm ET

Los Angeles Rams WR Cooper Kupp (ankle) will not be able to play in the Week 4 game, according to head coach Sean McVay.

Fantasy Spin: Kupp was expected to miss several weeks when he initially suffered the injury but could return soon since the team did not place him on the Reserve/Injured list. Tutu Atwell, Demarcus Robinson and Jordan Whittington likely will be the main receivers in Week 4, and Atwell can be a flex option in some deeper leagues.

The Los Angeles Rams have declared WR Cooper Kupp, QB Stetson Bennett, TE Davis Allen, DE Brennan Jackson, OT Geron Christian and RB Cody Schrader inactive for Week 3.

From TheHuddle

Sep 20 5:53pm ET

Los Angeles Rams TE Davis Allen (back) and WR Cooper Kupp (ankle) did not practice on Friday, Sept. 20, and were ruled out for Week 3. Also, PK Joshua Karty (groin), CB Cobie Durant (toe) and DL Bobby Brown III (ankle) were limited and are questionable, OL Kevin Dotson (foot) was a full participant and carries no designation, and CB Tre'Davious White (rest) did not practice but carries no designation.

From TheHuddle

Sep 20 5:53pm ET

Los Angeles Rams WR Cooper Kupp (ankle) did not practice once again on Friday, Sept. 20, and was ruled out for Week 3.

Fantasy Spin: No surprise here, as Kupp is expected to miss multiple weeks. With both Kupp and Puka Nacua out, Demarcus Robinson, Tyler Johnson and Tutu Atwell should all get more run. Robinson is the best bet of the three but he's no more than a shaky flex option.

From TheHuddle

Sep 20 3:20pm ET

Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Cooper Kupp (ankle) was officially ruled out for the Week 3 divisional contest this weekend against the visiting San Francisco 49ers. Kupp injured his ankle in Week 2 loss to the division-rival Arizona Cardinals and is a candidate to land on Injured Reserve, which would require him to miss at least four games. It's extremely bad news for the Rams offense, which is already missing wideout Puka Nacua (knee), who is on the IR. For the foreseeable future, fantasy managers need to keep Kupp in an IR spot and hope he can return sooner than later. With both Kupp and Nacua sidelined, Demarcus Robinson and Tyler Johnson will continue to serve in elevated starting roles, while Tutu Atwell and rookie Jordan Whittington will also be battling for more targets in the passing game. Tight end Colby Parkinson disappointed last week, but he, too, should see more work moving forward.

From RotoBaller

Sep 20 3:13pm ET

Los Angeles Rams WR Cooper Kupp (ankle) did not practice all week and has been ruled out for Week 3 against the San Francisco 49ers.

Fantasy Spin: As expected. Kupp is unlikely to practice again - much less play - for at least a month. Rookie Jordan Whittington should be expected to handle his role in the offense. It remains to be seen if he will be a featured player in an offense that does not have a lot of healthy bodies right now. He will fight for targets with Tyler Johnson and Demarcus Robinson.

Los Angeles Rams TE Davis Allen (back), PK Joshua Karty (groin) and WR Cooper Kupp (ankle) did not participate in practice Thursday, Sept. 19. CB Cobie Durant (toe) and DT Bobby Brown III (ankle) were limited during practice, while OG Kevin Dotson (foot) fully participated in practice.

Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Cooper Kupp (ankle) suffered a high ankle sprain against the Cardinals in Week 2, NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports. According to the report, Kupp will spend the next week or so in a cast to help ease the swelling. The Rams did not place Kupp on IR and there is still optimism he can return within the four-week timetable. It's not the worst news for Kupp managers but high ankle sprains can be tricky to come back from. The fact that he is not on IR is a somewhat promising sign. Kupp was off to a flying start to the season with 21 targets in his first game in a dominant 14 catch, 110-yard, 1-TD performance against the Lions. When healthy, Kupp is still a dominant fantasy player but the injuries have become a concern.

From RotoBaller

Sep 19 9:03am ET

Updating previous reports, Los Angeles Rams WR Cooper Kupp (ankle) could return within four weeks. He'll wear a cast for a week to combat swelling.

Fantasy Spin: Keep Kupp stashed in all formats. The Rams will have to spread the ball around to Demarcus Robinson, Tutu Atwell and Colby Parkinson in Kupp and Puka Nacua's absences. Robinson and Atwell were urgent pickups off waivers, and Parkinson is a low-end TE1.

Los Angeles Rams WR Cooper Kupp (ankle) did not participate in practice Wednesday, Sept. 18.

Fantasy Spin: Kupp is not being placed on the Reserve/Injured list at this point but is expected to miss a few weeks. Fantasy players can check later in the week to see if anything changes but should not count on having Kupp this week.

Los Angeles Rams TE Davis Allen (back), PK Joshua Karty (groin), WR Cooper Kupp (ankle) and CB Cobie Durant (toe) did not participate in practice Wednesday, Sept. 18. OG Kevin Dotson (foot) was limited during practice.

Sep 18 5:00pm ET

Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Cooper Kupp (ankle) is not expected to go on injured reserve after sustaining an ankle injury during the Week 2 loss to the Arizona Cardinals. Kupp injured his ankle when a defender landed on him during a tackle late in the second quarter, forcing him to hobble off the field. He was later seen leaving the stadium in a walking boot. While this is positive news, as earlier rumors suggested Kupp could miss extended time, his status for Sunday's game against the 49ers remains doubtful. With Puka Nacua and Kupp likely to be sidelined, Demarcus Robinson and Tyler Johnson emerge as quarterback Matthew Stafford's top targets for Week 3 against San Francisco.

From RotoBaller

Sep 18 2:13pm ET

Los Angeles Rams WR Cooper Kupp (ankle) is not currently expected to be placed on injured reserve, according to sources on Wednesday, Sept. 18.

Fantasy Spin: If Kupp doesn't land on injured reserve, that means the Rams expect him back sooner than the four-week minimum he would be out if placed on the list. That said, that doesn't mean Kupp will play this week. Assuming he sits, and with Puka Nacua (knee) on IR, Demarcus Robinson, Tutu Atwell and Tyler Johnson should all see more work. Robinson figures to be the best bet among the three to produce, but none of them are suggested lineup options.

Dynasty | Rams Head Coach Sean McVay announced Cooper Kupp will be out for an extended period of time following an ankle injury suffered in Sunday's game. Dynasty Analysis: He also said Kupp is a candidate for injured reserve. This has all the looks of a high ankle sprain for Kupp, who is quickly garnering a reputation for ankle ailments. It seems as if him going on IR may be a foregone conclusion and dynasty managers shouldn't be counting on him for the next month or longer. This is a major short-term blow to Kupp's value as he honestly looked like he could make a run at being the overall WR1 yet again this season. Instead, his dynasty value is going to start sinking again as the veteran seemingly can't stay healthy at this point in his career. Kupp remains a hold in dynasty leagues but the quick "sell" window just shut.

From Dynasty League Fantasy

Sep 16 5:40pm ET

Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Cooper Kupp (ankle) is expected to miss an extended period of time, according to head coach Sean McVay. The star wide receiver is also a candidate to land on injured reserve, knocking him out for at least four games. With Puka Nacua (knee) already on injured reserve, the Rams have Demarcus Robinson, Tyler Johnson, Tutu Atwell, and sixth-round rookie Jordan Whittington healthy at the wide receiver position. Unfortunately, Los Angeles has several players on injured reserve or likely heading there, making fans feel like it's the 2022 season all over again. Matthew Stafford's fantasy value takes a massive hit with his top two playmakers out of the lineup. Fantasy players likely want to avoid starting any Rams player not named Kyren Williams for the foreseeable future.

Sep 16 5:33pm ET

Los Angeles Rams WR Cooper Kupp (ankle) is expected to miss an extended period of time because of his ankle injury and is a candidate for the Reserve/Injured list, according to head coach Sean McVay.

Fantasy Spin: Kupp will have to miss at least four weeks if he is placed on IR, so fantasy players should monitor the situation. Demarcus Robinson and Tutu Atwell probably will be the main receivers with Kupp and Puka Nacua sidelined, but neither is more than a possible flex option in some leagues.

From TheHuddle

Sep 15 8:13pm ET

Los Angeles Rams WR Cooper Kupp (ankle) left the Week 2 game against the Arizona Cardinals, and he was unable to return. After the game, Kupp was in a walking boot on his left leg.

Fantasy Spin: We'll watch Kupp's practice status during the week before making a determination for Week 3 against the San Francisco 49ers. If he cannot go, it appears Demarcus Robinson would be the No. 1 wideout, with Tyler Johnson as the No. 2, and Tutu Atwell and Jordan Whittington as the others. Stay tuned.
