Kansas City Chiefs RB Kareem Hunt rushed for 35 yards on 14 carries against the Denver Broncos in Week 10. He also caught seven passes for 65 yards during the game.
Fantasy Spin: Hunt found more success in the passing game this week but still received a good amount of carries in the running game. He should continue to be the starting running back for the foreseeable future and is a weekly starting option in fantasy leagues.
From TheHuddle
Kansas City Chiefs running back Kareem Hunt had 14 carries for 35 yards in the 16-14 win against the Denver Broncos. Hunt also had seven catches for 65 yards in this contest. The Chiefs running back led the Kansas City pass catchers in receiving yards despite not being heavily involved in the passing game coming into this contest. The Chiefs extended their winning streak on a last-second blocked field goal by the Kansas City defense. Hunt could not find the endzone in this game, but his 21 touches resulted in 100 scrimmage yards. Hunt will face the Buffalo Bills in Week 11, who rank 31st in fantasy points allowed to opposing running backs this season. Hunt should be in for a big game against the Bills as the undisputed lead back for Kansas City. Fantasy managers should continue starting Hunt as a locked-in RB2.
From RotoBaller
Kansas City Chiefs running back Kareem Hunt will face the Denver Broncos in Week 10. Hunt is coming off another solid performance, totaling 106 yards and a touchdown against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Hunt played a vital role in the Chiefs 30-24 overtime win, as he was the one who crossed the goal line to end it. The Chiefs lead back will take on the Broncos, who rank 20th in fantasy points allowed to opposing running backs this season. The Denver defense is tougher on the pass than the run, so Hunt should see another sizeable workload in this contest. Hunt logged a limited practice on Wednesday with a quad injury but practiced fully the rest of the week and does not have an injury designation for the game. Hunt is ranked RB16 in our RotoBaller Half-PPR rankings this week, making him a high-end RB2 option in this matchup. Expect Hunt to get at least 20 carries again in this contest with a good chance of finding the endzone.
From RotoBaller
Kansas City Chiefs WR JuJu Smith-Schuster (hamstring) did not practice on Friday, Nov. 8, and was ruled out for Week 10. Also, DT Tershawn Wharton (knee) was limited and is questionable and WR Mecole Hardman (shoulder, knee), RB Kareem Hunt (quadriceps), DE George Karlaftis (abdomen), DE Mike Danna (pectoral), S Nazeeh Johnson (concussion), QB Patrick Mahomes (ankle) and DT Derrick Nnadi (triceps) practiced in full and were removed from the injury report.
From TheHuddle
Kansas City Chiefs RB Kareem Hunt (quadriceps) practiced in full for the second consecutive day on Friday, Nov. 8, and was removed from the injury report for Week 10.
Fantasy Spin: Hunt kept rolling right along last week, as he broke the century mark for the second time and found the end zone. He's a locked-in RB1 entering Week 10.
From TheHuddle
After being limited in Wednesday's practice, Kansas City Chiefs running back Kareem Hunt (quadriceps) returned to a full practice a day later on Thursday. Hunt was also limited by a quad injury last week but ended up playing in the Monday night overtime win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and went over 100 rushing yards with the walk-off touchdown. There shouldn't be any concerns over whether the 29-year-old will suit up as KC's lead back for a big divisional matchup against the visiting Denver Broncos. The Broncos defense has been pretty stingy against RBs in 2024, but they did give up over 100 rushing yards and two scores to Ravens RB Derrick Henry in Week 9. Because of significant volume that he's been receiving as the Chiefs' lead back with Isiah Pacheco (leg) on Injured Reserve, Hunt has been a solid RB2 for fantasy managers.
From RotoBaller
Kansas City Chiefs RB Kareem Hunt (quadriceps) fully participated in practice Thursday, Nov. 7.
Fantasy Spin: Hunt has received at least 20 carries in each of his last four games and also has five rushing touchdowns during that span. He should see plenty of touches again this week and can be a starting option in all fantasy leagues.
From TheHuddle
Kansas City Chiefs running back Kareem Hunt (quadriceps) was limited in Wednesday's practice coming off scoring the game-winning touchdown in the Week 9 overtime win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Monday. Hunt was also listed on last week's injury report with a quad injury but managed to play on Monday and went over 100 yards rushing while scoring the walk-off touchdown to send the Chiefs to 8-0. As long as the 29-year-old doesn't suffer a setback later this week, he should be all systems go for a Week 10 divisional matchup against the Denver Broncos, where Hunt should be viewed as a solid RB2 play in fantasy lineups. Isiah Pacheco is recovering nicely from a broken leg suffered in Week 2 and is nearing a return to practice, but until he returns, Hunt will be KC's clear backfield leader.
From RotoBaller
Kansas City Chiefs RB Kareem Hunt (quadriceps) was limited during practice Wednesday, Nov. 6.
Fantasy Spin: Hunt picked up his second 100-yard game of the season last week and has at least one touchdown in each of the last four games. He will see plenty of touches this week and should be a starting option in all leagues.
From TheHuddle
Dynasty | Chiefs running back Kareem Hunt had 106 rushing yards, one catch, 11 receiving yards and a touchdown in Kansas City's win against Tampa Bay. Dynasty Analysis: Father Time is undefeated, but Hunt keeps throwing haymakers. Now with 414 rushing yards and five touchdowns in five games, the former and now current Chief has been one of fantasy football's biggest surprises this season. The imminent return of Isiah Pacheco is going to throw major cold water on his late season value, but dynasty managers can ride this for the next few weeks, at least. Hunt's dynasty value has stabilized as it looks like he still has some juice left in the tank. Still, he's a risky buy at the moment as a player who could have a sudden decrease in usage.
Kansas City Chiefs running back Kareem Hunt handled 27 carries for 106 yards and a touchdown in the 30-24 overtime win against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The veteran running back scored his touchdown to win the game in overtime. Hunt also hauled in his only target for 11 receiving yards in the contest. Hunt once again handled nearly every carry out of the backfield as the undisputed lead back. Given the recent report that Isiah Pacheco is likely out until late November at the earliest, Hunt should remain a viable fantasy asset for at least a few more weeks. The Chiefs running back will look to extend his four-game scoring streak against the Denver Broncos in Week 10. The Broncos rank 14th in fantasy points allowed to opposing running backs this season, so it will not be the best matchup at the position. That said, Hunt has at least 21 carries and a touchdown in four straight games, making his workload among the strongest at the position. Given his performances over the past month and strong utilization, Hunt should continue to be ranked as a strong RB2.
From RotoBaller
Kansas City Chiefs RB Kareem Hunt rushed 27 times for 106 yards and a touchdown in Week 9 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and he added an 11-yard reception on his only catch and target.
Fantasy Spin: Since returning to Kansas City, the 29-year-old Hunt has scored five rushing touchdowns in a four-game scoring streak, while posting two 100-yard games. He has re-emerged as a strong RB2 in most fantasy leagues. The Chiefs host the Denver Broncos in Week 10.
From TheHuddle
Chiefs' RB Kareem Hunt ran for 108 yards on 27 carries with one touchdown in Monday's win against the Buccaneers.
Kansas City Chiefs running back Kareem Hunt will face the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 9. Hunt has been heavily involved in his time as the team's lead back, garnering at least 20 carries and a touchdown in the last three games. Hunt was a limited participant in Thursday's practice but logged back-to-back full practices on Friday and Saturday. The Chiefs running back is officially off the injury report and ready for the game. Now Hunt will face the Buccaneers, who rank 25th in fantasy points allowed to opposing running backs this season. With Isiah Pacheco still not ready to return to practice, the runway is set for Hunt to take off. The Chiefs are nearly nine-point home favorites in this week's Monday night matchup, so Hunt should be heavily involved in running out the clock. Hunt is ranked RB17 in our RotoBaller Half-PPR rankings this week, so he deserves a place in fantasy lineups.
From RotoBaller
Kansas City Chiefs WR JuJu Smith-Schuster (hamstring) and TE Jared Wiley (knee) did not practice on Saturday, Nov. 2, and were ruled out for Week 9. Also, DE Mike Danna (pectoral) and S Nazeeh Johnson (concussion) were limited but were ruled out, LB Drue Tranquill (chest) practiced in full but was ruled out and OT Ethan Driskell (illness), RB Kareem Hunt (quadriceps), WR Mecole Hardman (knee), QB Patrick Mahomes (ankle), CB Trent McDuffie (knee) and DT Derrick Nnadi (triceps) practiced in full and were removed from the injury report.
From TheHuddle
Kansas City Chiefs RB Kareem Hunt (quadriceps) practiced in full for the second consecutive day on Saturday, Nov. 2, and carries no designation for Week 9.
Fantasy Spin: Since seizing the starting role in Week 5, Hunt ranks as RB10 overall in fantasy points per game. He's a borderline RB1 play in Week 9.
From TheHuddle
Kansas City Chiefs running back Kareem Hunt (quad) participated fully in the team's Friday practice. The 29-year-old was listed as limited on Thursday, so it's nice to see him able to log a full session just one day later. It's excellent news for Kansas City, as the veteran's quad ailment is the second injury to limit him in back-to-back weeks (hip). So long as Hunt does not suffer any setbacks over the next 24 hours, it would appear he's well on his way to making another start in Week 9 when the team hosts the visiting Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The veteran RB has been on a tear, punching in at least one score in three straight contests while out-carrying backfield mate Carson Steele 70-to-13 over that stretch.
From RotoBaller
Kansas City Chiefs RB Kareem Hunt (quadriceps) was a full participant in practice on Friday, Nov. 1, after being limited the day before.
Fantasy Spin: A full practice on Friday puts to bed any semblance of concern there was for Hunt's status. He's an RB1 play in Week 9.
From TheHuddle
Kansas City Chiefs WR JuJu Smith-Schuster (hamstring) did not practice on Friday, Nov. 1. Also, DE Mike Danna (pectoral), CB Nazeeh Johnson (concussion) and TE Jared Wiley (knee) were limited and OL Ethan Driskell (illness), WR Mecole Hardman (knee), RB Kareem Hunt (quadriceps), QB Patrick Mahomes (ankle), CB Trent McDuffie (knee), DL Derrick Nnadi (triceps) and LB Drue Tranquill (chest) practiced in full.
From TheHuddle
Kansas City Chiefs RB Kareem Hunt (quadriceps) was limited during practice Thursday, Oct. 31.
Fantasy Spin: Hunt should be available for the Week 9 game, but fantasy players should keep an eye on the situation to see if anything changes. He has played well since taking over the starting job and should be a starting option in all fantasy leagues.
