Cleveland Browns running back D'Onta Foreman (coach's decision) is a healthy scratch for Week 9 against the Los Angeles Chargers. Foreman had not been on the injury report, so it appears he's the odd man out among a Cleveland backfield that also features Nick Chubb, Jerome Ford, and Pierre Strong Jr. Foreman can be dropped in all fantasy leagues. Chubb is the only Browns running back worth starting in typical 12-team leagues.
From RotoBaller
Cleveland Browns RB D'Onta Foreman ended up with five rushes for 26 yards in Week 8 against the Baltimore Ravens, and he was not targeted in the pass game.
From TheHuddle
Cleveland Browns RB D'Onta Foreman had just two runs for five yards in Week 7 against the Cincinnati Bengals, and he had no receptions or targets.
From TheHuddle
Cleveland Browns running back D'Onta Foreman (groin) has been removed from the injury report ahead of the Week 7 matchup against the Cincinnati Bengals. This is good news for the Browns backfield that will be without Jerome Ford (hamstring) this weekend. However, Nick Chubb (knee) should be back in the mix and be the primary back for Week 7. It's worth noting that this would be Chubb's first game back since suffering that horrible season-ending knee injury last year. It wouldn't be shocking to see the Browns limit Chubb during his first game back. That being said, Foreman and Pierre Strong Jr. should both be in the mix in the backfield. Foreman has seen 19 carries over the last two weeks, which is solid for a backup. However, he hasn't offered much fantasy value, so fantasy managers should consider him a desperation option in deep leagues.
From RotoBaller
Cleveland Browns RB D'Onta Foreman (groin) practiced in full on Friday, Oct. 18, after being limited the two days prior and was removed from the Week 7 injury report.
Fantasy Spin: With Jerome Ford (hamstring) ruled out, Foreman might have had an expanded role this week, but that is squashed with Nick Chubb expected to play. Foreman can be left on waivers.
From TheHuddle
Cleveland Browns RB Jerome Ford (hamstring) and S Ronnie Hickman (ankle) did not practice on Friday, Oct. 18, and were ruled out for Week 7. Also, C Ethan Pocic (knee) and S Juan Thornhill (calf) were limited and are questionable, CB Denzel Ward (hamstring) was limited but carries no designation, LB Jordan Hicks (triceps, elbow), RB Nyheim Hines (knee) and RB Nick Chubb (knee) practiced in full but are questionable, and S Grant Delpit (concussion), CB Martin Emerson (rib), RB D'Onta Foreman (groin), DE Myles Garrett (Achilles), WR Jerry Jeudy (knee), TE David Njoku (ankle), DE Za'Darius Smith (toe) and OT Jedrick Wills (shoulder, knee) practiced in full and were removed from the injury report.
From TheHuddle
Cleveland Browns RB D'Onta Foreman (groin) was limited at practice for a second straight day on Thursday, Oct. 17.
Fantasy Spin: Foreman was thoroughly outplayed by Pierre Strong last week. He might've been looking at an increased workload this week because of Jerome Ford's injury, but the return of Nick Chubb squashes that. Foreman can be sent packing to waivers.
From TheHuddle
Cleveland Browns RB Jerome Ford (hamstring) and S Ronnie Hickman Jr. (ankle) did not practice on Thursday, Oct. 17. Also, S Grant Delpit (concussion), RB D'Onta Foreman (groin), LB Jordan Hicks (elbow, triceps), C Ethan Pocic (knee), DB Juan Thornhill (calf) and CB Denzel Ward (hamstring) were limited and RB Nick Chubb (knee), CB Martin Emerson (rib), DE Myles Garrett (Achilles), RB Nyheim Hines (knee), WR Jerry Jeudy (knee), TE David Njoku (ankle) and OT Jedrick Wills (shoulder, knee) practiced in full.
From TheHuddle
Cleveland Browns running back D'Onta Foreman (groin) was able to practice on a limited basis in the first session of the week on Wednesday. Foreman led Cleveland in touches out of the backfield in the Week 6 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles after Jerome Ford (hamstring) suffered an injury just four snaps into the game. The 28-year-old managed 47 scrimmage yards on 12 touches (10 carries, two catches). In addition to Foreman, Pierre Strong Jr. saw 10 touches and went for 78 total yards. The Browns' backfield should be considered very fluid right now, with Ford potentially missing Week 7 against the division-rival Cincinnati Bengals, while Nick Chubb (knee) could be activated off the Physically Unable to Perform to make his season debut on Sunday. Chubb has the most fantasy upside of any of these names, but it might take him a while to get going.
From RotoBaller
Cleveland Browns RB D'Onta Foreman (groin) was limited during practice Wednesday, Oct. 16.
Fantasy Spin: Foreman appears to have a decent chance to play in Week 7 as long as he does not suffer a setback. He may receive a majority of the carries since Jerome Ford is dealing with an injury. He can be a flex option in leagues if he receives the start.
From TheHuddle
Cleveland Browns RB D'Onta Foreman rushed for 31 yards on 10 carries against the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 6. He also caught two passes for 16 yards during the game.
Fantasy Spin: Foreman shared playing with several other running back during the game but led the team in carries. His role for Week 7 is uncertain because of Jerome Ford's injury but could be a flex option in some deeper leagues if receives most of the work at running back.
From TheHuddle
Cleveland Browns running back D'Onta Foreman carried the ball 10 times for 31 yards and added two catches for 16 yards in a 20-16 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 6. Foreman saw an uptick in work with Jerome Ford leaving during the first quarter with a hamstring injury and eventually getting ruled out for the remainder of the game. Despite the additional opportunities, Foreman struggled to gain much traction in yet another game where the Cleveland offense had a hard time moving the ball. The Browns may be getting Nick Chubb (knee) back for Week 7's matchup against the Cincinnati Bengals, which would put a big dent into Foreman's workload in the future. If Chubb ultimately ends up not playing in Week 7 and Ford isn't ready to return, Foreman could operate as the team's lead back next week, giving him flex appeal in fantasy. Stay tuned.
From RotoBaller
Cleveland Browns RB D'Onta Foreman (ankle) practiced in full on Friday, Oct. 11, after being limited the day before and has been removed from the injury report.
Fantasy Spin: Foreman got 10 touches in a blowout loss to the Commanders last week, but his workload has been too inconsistent to trust him in lineups. Jerome Ford remains the better option, but not by a lot.
From TheHuddle
Cleveland Browns S Ronnie Hickman (ankle), OT James Hudson (shoulder), S Grant Delpit (concussion) and C Ethan Pocic (knee) did not practice on Friday, Oct. 11, and were ruled out for Week 6. Also, RB Nyheim Hines (knee) and RB Nick Chubb (knee) were limited but have been ruled out, LB Jordan Hicks (elbow, triceps) and CB Denzel Ward (hamstring) were limited and are questionable, LB Mohamoud Diabate (hip) and DT Maurice Hurst (ankle) practiced in full but are questionable, TE David Njoku (knee, ankle) and DE Za'Darius Smith (ankle) were limited but carry no designation, and OT Jack Conklin (hamstring), WR Amari Cooper (rest), RB D'Onta Foreman (ankle), DE Myles Garrett (Achilles), WR Jerry Jeudy (knee), DE Ogbo Okoronkwo (illness), RB Pierre Strong (hamstring), OT Jedrick Wills (knee) and OG Zak Zinter (knee) practiced in full and were removed from the injury report.
From TheHuddle
Cleveland Browns RB D'Onta Foreman (ankle) was limited during practice Thursday, Oct. 10.
Fantasy Spin: Foreman appears to have a chance to play this week, so fantasy players should keep an eye on the situation. He has been sharing playing time with Jerome Ford and could be a possible flex option in deeper leagues if he is cleared.
From TheHuddle
Cleveland Browns RB D'onta Foreman (ankle) did not participate in practice Wednesday, Oct. 9.
Fantasy Spin: Foreman has been sharing playing time with Jerome Ford, so fantasy players should keep an eye on the situation to see if Foreman will be available. He could be a possible flex option in leagues if he plays.
From TheHuddle
Cleveland Browns running back D'Onta Foreman (ankle) is not practicing on Wednesday due to an ankle injury. The veteran rushed for a season-high 44 yards and caught one pass for 16 yards in the Week 5 loss to the Washington Commanders. He evidently got dinged up. While Foreman is not high on the fantasy football radar, his injury status is notable because Pro Bowl running back Nick Chubb (knee) has a chance to return in Week 6 against the Philadelphia Eagles for the first time since his brutal knee injury a season ago. Whenever Chubb returns, Foreman could be phased out of the offense, but he might keep a small role while Chubb ramps up to a significant workload. Either way, the Browns' offense and offensive line have struggled mightily to begin the season, so Foreman offers very little upside.
From RotoBaller
Cleveland Browns RB D'Onta Foreman rushed nine times for 44 yards in Week 5 against the Washington Commanders, while adding a 16-yard reception on his lone target.
Fantasy Spin: The average yards per touch was pretty good for Foreman at 6.0, and he split the backfield touches with Jerome Ford. However, with Nick Chubb returning to practice this past week, the star back is nearing a return to game action, which will kill any little fantasy appeal Foreman had.
From TheHuddle
Cleveland Browns running back D'Onta Foreman carried the ball nine times for 44 yards and added a 16-yard catch in a 34-13 loss to the Washington Commanders in Week 5. Foreman unexpectedly found his way back into the game plan after he saw just six carries over the previous two contests. He ultimately wound up in a near split with starter Jerome Ford, who had 12 touches in the loss. Foreman's weekly usage has become tough to predict and he is likely to lose most of his current touches once Nick Chubb (knee) is ready to return, which could be in the next couple of weeks. Foreman will not be a fantasy consideration heading into a Week 6 road matchup against the Philadelphia Eagles.
From RotoBaller
Cleveland Browns RB D'Onta Foreman rushed four times for just two yards in Week 4 against the Las Vegas Raiders, while posting a 5-yard reception on his only target.
Fantasy Spin: Foreman appeared to be the preferred option of coach Kevin Stefanski in Jacksonville back in Week 2, but Jerome Ford appears to have pulled well ahead of the journeyman once again. However, with Nick Chubb eligible to return in Week 5, Foreman might be in danger of being a healthy inactive soon. His days of being on a fantasy roster are now over.
