Tampa Bay Buccaneers WRs Ryan Miller and Sterling Shepard each recorded one reception apiece in Week 10 against the San Francisco 49ers. Miller had an 11-yard grab on his only touch on three targets, while Shepard had a 7-yard catch on his lone reception on three targets, while also rushing once for three yards.
From TheHuddle
Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Sterling Shepard (hamstring, hip) has been cleared to play ahead of the Week 10 matchup against the San Francisco 49ers. Shepard was only able to practice once this week, but it was good enough to get removed from the injury report ahead of this game. Last week, Shepard hauled in four of his five targets for 48 yards in the loss to the Kansas City Chiefs. The Bucs are still banged up at wideout, so Shepard figures to remain a top passing option. That being said, Shepard will slide onto the flex radar ahead of this Week 10 showdown.
From RotoBaller
Tampa Bay Buccaneers WR Sterling Shepard (hamstring, hip) was limited during practice Friday, Nov. 8, but is not on the injury report for Week 10.
Fantasy Spin: Shepard likely will be one of the starting receivers for the Bucs this week and will see a handful of targets in the passing game. He could be a possible flex option in some deeper leagues but is not a strong fantasy option.
From TheHuddle
Tampa Bay Buccaneers WR Sterling Shepard (hamstring, hip) did not participate in practice Thursday, Nov. 7.
Fantasy Spin: Shepard was able to play in Week 9 but may be in danger of missing the Week 10 game because he has not been on the field for the first two practices. Fantasy players should monitor the situation because Shepard can be a possible flex option in deeper leagues if he is able to play.
From TheHuddle
Tampa Bay Buccaneers WR Sterling Shepard (hamstring, hip) did not participate in practice Wednesday, Nov. 6.
Fantasy Spin: Shepard has dealt with injuries over the last few weeks but was able to play last week. Fantasy players should keep an eye on his status this week because he could be a possible flex option in deeper leagues if he plays.
From TheHuddle
Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Sterling Shepard caught four of five targets for 48 yards in Monday night's 30-24 overtime loss to the Chiefs, adding two rushes for 21 yards. It was the second consecutive game that the 31-year-old earned five looks from Baker Mayfield and the fourth time this season he's caught at least three passes. Jalen McMillan (hamstring) was inactive for the game and should he miss another week, then Shepard could once again be one of the top receiving options for Tampa Bay. The Buccaneers have a tough matchup with the 49ers in Week 10 so even so, he's still probably only a WR4/5.
From RotoBaller
Tampa Bay Buccaneers WR Sterling Shepard had four receptions for 48 yards on five targets in Week 9 against the Kansas City Chiefs, while running for 21 yards on a pair of attempts.
Fantasy Spin: Shepard appears to be the No. 1 wide receiver in Tampa Bay right now, at least until Mike Evans is ready to return from a hamstring injury in the next couple of weeks. He is worth a look as a WR4 or flex fantasy option heading into Week 10 against the San Francisco 49ers in leagues of 12 or more teams.
From TheHuddle
Tampa Bay Buccaneers WR Sterling Shepard (hamstring) is officially active for the Week 9 game.
Fantasy Spin: Shepard is in line for a solid role in the passing game this week since the Buccaneers will be without their top three receivers. He should see a handful of targets during the game but may only be a possible flex option in some deeper leagues.
From TheHuddle
Tampa Bay Buccaneers WR Sterling Shepard (hamstring) was limited at practice on Saturday, Nov. 2, after not practicing the two days prior and is questionable for Week 9.
Fantasy Spin: Shepard has had a chance at fantasy relevance the last few weeks with both Mike Evans and Chris Godwin out, but he has failed to cash in. He can be left on waivers.
From TheHuddle
Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Sterling Shepard (hamstring) is questionable for the Week 9 meeting with the Kansas City Chiefs. Mike Evans (hamstring) and Chris Godwin (ankle) are on the shelf, so there are opportunities for others to get involved. However, Shepard may not be one of them, with the veteran wideout missing a few practices throughout the week after tweaking his hamstring in Sunday's loss to the Atlanta Falcons. If Shepard plays, he could be rostered for streaming purposes, although he'll be a risky option for fantasy managers. But if he doesn't, Cade Otton, Jalen McMillan, and Trey Palmer would be the favorites to see more attention from Baker Mayfield.
From RotoBaller
Tampa Bay Buccaneers WR Mike Evans (hamstring) and DL Greg Gaines (calf) did not practice on Saturday, Nov. 2, and were ruled out for Week 9. Also, LS Evan Deckers (hamstring) practiced in full but was ruled out, RB Bucky Irving (toe), WR Jalen McMillan (hamstring), and WR Sterling Shepard (hamstring) were limited and are questionable, S Antoine Winfield Jr. (foot) did not practice but is questionable, S Tykee Smith (concussion) practiced in full but is questionable, OG Ben Bredeson (shoulder) and DL William Gholston (knee) did not practice but carry no designation and LB Lavonte David (ankle, chest) practiced in full and was removed from the injury report.
From TheHuddle
Tampa Bay Buccaneers WR Sterling Shepard (hamstring) did not participate in practice Friday, Nov. 1.
Fantasy Spin: Shepard was in line for a bigger role in the offense because of the injuries at the position, but he suffered an injury in the last game. He has missed the first two practices of the week and probably can be avoided in fantasy leagues even if he is able to play.
From TheHuddle
Tampa Bay Buccaneers WR Sterling Shepard (hamstring) did not participate in practice Thursday, Oct. 31.
Fantasy Spin: Shepard suffered the injury during the last game, so his status for Week 9 is uncertain at this point. He will only see a few targets if he is able to play and probably can be avoided in most leagues.
From TheHuddle
Updating a previous report, Tampa Bay Buccaneers WR Sterling Shepard (hamstring) was able to return in the second half of the Week 8 game against the Atlanta Falcons after exiting with a hamstring injury.
From TheHuddle
Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Sterling Shepard (hamstring) has now been listed as questionable to return to Sunday's contest as he deals with a hamstring injury that he picked up in the second quarter. The Buccaneers are already dealing with a thin receiver corps, so they'll now have to rely on fewer pass-catchers. Cade Otton will be even more important while Jalen McMillan and Trey Palmer will be the top two receivers unless Shepard returns.
From RotoBaller
Tampa Bay Buccaneers WR Sterling Shepard (hamstring) suffered a hamstring injury during the Week 8 game and is considered questionable to return.
Fantasy Spin: Fantasy players keep an eye on the situation to see if Shepard will miss extended time. He was in line for a bigger role since Mike Evans and Chris Godwin are injured but should be avoided in he misses time.
From TheHuddle
Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Sterling Shepard will be asked to take on a bigger role during the Week 8 matchup against the Atlanta Falcons. The Bucs lost their top two wideouts in Mike Evans (hamstring) and Chris Godwin (ankle) during last week's loss to the Baltimore Ravens. They will now be forced to use the committee of Shepard, Jalen McMillan, and Trey Palmer. The expectation is that running back Rachaad White and tight end Cade Otton will be mixed in as well. It's unknown exactly what the Bucs plan to do without their top options available. That being said, Shepard can't be trusted as more than a low-end flex option. He hasn't done much this season outside of a 51-yard performance in Week 4. Sometimes an increased role doesn't always come along with increased value which could be the case here.
From RotoBaller
According to head coach Todd Bowles, Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Sterling Shepard will be counted on more in the offense in the absence of teammates Mike Evans (hamstring) and Chris Godwin (ankle). Specifically, reporters asked Bowles about Shepard and his familiarity with quarterback Baker Mayfield. "He's been a heck of a receiver in this league when he's healthy," said the Bucs' head coach. "He can make plays all over the field; we've seen that briefly over the last couple of weeks." The chemistry referred to by reporters stems from the time he and Mayfield spent together in college at Oklahoma. Seeing how targets shake out over the coming weeks will be interesting. For what it's worth, the former Oklahoma Sooner played fewer snaps than fellow wideouts Trey Palmer and Jalen McMillan in the team's Week 7 loss. Still, production in this offense will need to come from somewhere, with Godwin done for the year and Evans not projected back until after the team's Week 11 bye.
From RotoBaller
Tampa Bay Buccaneers WR Sterling Shepard had a 15-yard reception on his lone target in Week 7 against the Baltimore Ravens.
From TheHuddle
Tampa Bay Buccaneers WR Sterling Shepard rushed four times for 31 yards, while finishing with three receptions for 23 yards on four targets, in Week 6 against the New Orleans Saints.
