Detroit Lions quarterback Jared Goff (ankle) returned to practice on Thursday as a full participant. This is a great sign for Goff as he sat out during Wednesday's practice after rolling his ankle. Seeing return to practice the next day puts him in great position to suit up this weekend. The 30-year-old has led the Lions to five straight victories since falling to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 2. During this span, Goff has held a stellar 83.0% completion rate while averaging 23.0 PPR points per game. Goff remains a solid QB1 option in all formats this weekend when he faces the Green Bay Packers who have allowed the 18th-most points to opposing QBs this season.
From RotoBaller
Updating a previous report, Detroit Lions QB Jared Goff (ankle) fully participated in practice Thursday, Oct. 31.
Fantasy Spin: Goff twisted his ankle earlier in the week but appears to be on track to play against the Green Bay Packers. He can be a starting option in two-quarterback leagues but probably will be avoided in most standard leagues.

Detroit Lions QB Jared Goff (ankle) returned to practice Thursday, Oct. 31.
Fantasy Spin: The practice report for Thursday will indicate how much Goff participated, but this is a good sign that he'll be available for the divisional bout against the Green Bay Packers. With 12 touchdown passes over his last four games, Goff is a solid starting asset as long as he's active.
From TheHuddle
Detroit Lions QB Jared Goff (ankle) did not participate in practice Wednesday, Oct. 30.
Fantasy Spin: Goff is dealing with a twisted ankle but is expected to participate in practice later in the week. Fantasy players should keep an eye on the situation to see if Goff is in any danger of missing the Week 9 game. He can be a starting option in two-quarterback leagues if active but probably can be avoided in most standard leagues.
From TheHuddle
Detroit Lions quarterback Jared Goff (ankle) is not practicing on Wednesday due to an ankle injury. The veteran said his ankle is sore, but he expects to be fine. Goff posted just 85 passing yards in the Week 8 blowout win over the Tennessee Titans, but he tossed three touchdown passes. The former No. 1 overall pick in the 2016 NFL Draft has at least two touchdowns in each of his last five games and has been one of the best quarterbacks in the league in recent weeks. It would be a surprise if he misses the Week 9 game against the Green Bay Packers, but fantasy managers of Goff and the Detroit pass-catchers should monitor his status. Assuming Goff is good to go, he'll face a tough matchup against a Green Bay defense that has surrendered the 11th-fewest fantasy points per game to QBs. If he's at risk of being out, second-year quarterback Hendon Hooker would draw the start.
From RotoBaller
Detroit Lions QB Jared Goff went 12-for-15 for 85 yards and three touchdowns against the Tennessee Titans in Week 8.
Fantasy Spin: Goff was not asked to do much because the Lions were scoring in a variety of ways this week. He will be facing a good Green Bay Packers defense next week but should be a starting option in two-quarterback leagues and could be a low-end No. 1 quarterback in some deeper leagues.
From TheHuddle
Detroit Lions quarterback Jared Goff delivered another strong performance in Week 7, helping lead the team to a 31-29 victory over the Minnesota Vikings. Goff was highly efficient, completing 22 of 25 passes for an 88% completion rate, accumulating 280 yards and two touchdowns. His accuracy and decision-making were on full display, keeping the Lions' offense moving throughout the game. Goff's impressive outing earned him a Top-5 fantasy QB finish for the week going into Sunday night, reinforcing his status as a reliable starter. The Lions will focus on a home matchup against the Tennessee Titans as Goff is a low-end QB1 heading into Week 8.

His performance placed him as a top-5 fantasy quarterback in Week 6, showcasing his consistency as a reliable starter. Goff's connection with key receivers helped power the Lions' offense in one of their most decisive wins of the season. Fantasy managers can look forward to Goff's potential for similar performances in favorable matchups moving forward. The 30-year-old is a high-end QB2 in a tough matchup against the Minnesota Vikings in Week 7.
From RotoBaller

Dynasty | Lions quarterback Jared Goff completed 18-of-25 passes for 315 yards with three touchdowns and no interceptions in a 47-9 road demolition of the Dallas Cowboys. Dynasty Analysis: Despite going 18-of-18 last week, this was Goff's best game of the season as he simply carved up the Dallas defense and did whatever he wanted. The Lions are rolling and Goff looks like he's hitting his stride. While dynasty managers are always going to complain about the lack of rushing yards, Goff is again in the weekly QB1 conversation as he looks like he's getting into a serious groove. He remains one of the more underrated dynasty quarterbacks and a clear target for contending teams in need of a signal caller.
Lions' QB Jared Goff passed for 315 yards on 18-of-25 with three touchdowns in Sunday's win in Dallas.
Lions' QB Jared Goff scored an impressive 30.30 fantasy points in Monday's Week 4 win against the Seahawks. Goff threw for 292 yards on 18-of-18 with two touchdowns. It's the 1st time this season Goff scored at least 25 fantasy points in a game.
Dynasty | Lions quarterback Jared Goff completed 18-of-18 passes for 292 yards with two touchdowns and no interceptions in a win over Seattle. Dynasty Analysis: He also caught a touchdown pass from Amon-Ra St. Brown. His effort featured the most completions in a game without an incompletion in NFL history. Goff was masterful on the evening and has complete control of this Lions offense here in his fourth season. A relative "throw-in" years ago in the Matthew Stafford trade, Goff continues to impress. He'll remain being a low-end QB1 or high-end QB2 as we move forward.
Detroit Lions quarterback Jared Goff threw football's version of a perfect game, completing 18-of-18 passes for 292 yards and two touchdowns against the Seahawks on Monday night. Goff's 18 completions without an incompletion set an NFL record and he caught a touchdown pass from Amon-Ra St. Brown for good measure. The former No. 1 overall pick turned in the QB4 performance on the week as the Lions racked up 42 points on the night. It was by far the best game of the season for Goff and could signify a breakout moving forward for the signal caller of a talented and diverse Lions' offense.
From RotoBaller
Detroit Lions QB Jared Goff completed all 18 of his pass attempts in Week 4 against the Seattle Seahawks for 292 yards, two touchdowns and no interceptions in Week 4 against the Seattle Seahawks. He also had a 7-yard touchdown reception on a pass from WR Amon-Ra St. Brown. It was just the fifth time in NFL history that a team had two players throw at TD and catch a TD in a game.
Fantasy Spin: Goff had an unbelievable night, but fantasy managers are probably a little sad that he just missed 300 passing yards. Still, fantasy managers can't complain too vehemently. Unfortunately, you must find alternate options for Week 5, as the Lions are on a bye week.
From TheHuddle
Detroit Lions quarterback Jared Goff faces a stiff test with the Seattle Seahawks defense on Monday night. The Seahawks come in with the No. 2 overall defense and No. 1 pass defense in the NFL through three weeks. At the same time, Goff represents the best quarterback the Seahawks will have faced after matching up with Denver's rookie Bo Nix, New England's Jacoby Brissett, and Miami's Skylar Thompson and Tim Boyle. Seattle boasts a strong secondary and Goff has yet to break out through three weeks of this season. Expect a run-heavy focus for the Lions' offense on Monday night with Goff attempting to get the ball to Amon-Ra St. Brown and Jameson Williams whenever possible against Seattle's tough corners in Devon Witherspoon and Riq Woolen. Goff profiles as a mid-range QB2 in this matchup with better options available.
From RotoBaller
Detroit Lions quarterback Jared Goff hasn't had the greatest start to the season as he continues to hover around the QB2 territory each week. He did, however, lead the Lions to their second win of the season behind 199 yards, two touchdowns, and one interception on 18-for-23 throwing. He also took two sacks on top of three carries for six yards. Right now, Goff has thrown one more interception than touchdowns (4-to-3), and he's averaging 241 yards per game. Detroit's offense has been split almost perfectly down the middle so far as they've had a total of 101 rushing attempts compared to 107 passing attempts. Goff saw a lot of touchdowns come from red zone targets to Sam LaPorta, but there haven't been many of those to start the year. Goff will look to post a big-time performance in a primetime game against the Seattle Seahawks in Week 4.
From RotoBaller
Detroit Lions QB Jared Goff completed his first 14 passes in a 20-13 win over the Arizona Cardinals in Week 3, finishing with 199 yards, two touchdowns and an interception.
