Miami Dolphins running back Raheem Mostert (chest) was a limited participant in practice on Thursday. It was somewhat promising to see Mostert, who hasn't played since Week 1, get on the field in some capacity a full four days before Miami's game against the Tennessee Titans. Having Mostert available would be great for a Dolphins offense in need of playmakers amidst injuries to quarterbacks Tua Tagovailoa (concussion) and Skylar Thompson (ribs). All signs point to Tyler Huntley starting under center for Miami, and their best shot at defeating Tennessee might be running their offense through the rushing attack. De'Von Achane still remains atop the Dolphins' backfield, but a healthy Mostert might see enough volume to make him an RB3 in fantasy football. Managers should continue to monitor the injury reports and check to see whether Mostert gets an official designation on Saturday.
From RotoBaller
Miami Dolphins RB Raheem Mostert (chest) was limited at practice on Thursday, Sept. 26.
Fantasy Spin: Things remain status quo for Mostert, who was limited all last week before sitting out. You probably don't want to start him in his first game back, anyway.
From TheHuddle
Miami Dolphins OT Terron Armstead (concussion), DL Calais Campbell (rest), CB Kendall Fuller (concussion, LB David Long Jr. (hamstring) and CB Siran Neal (hamstring) did not practice on Thursday, Sept. 26. Also, CB Storm Duck (shoulder), FB Alec Ingold (shoulder, knee), RB Raheem Mostert (chest), QB Skylar Thompson (ribs) and WR Malik Washington (quadriceps) were limited and LB Jaelan Phillips (Achilles, shoulder) practiced in full.
From TheHuddle
Miami Dolphins running back Raheem Mostert (chest) was already listed as doubtful and wasn't expected to play in their Week 3 matchup. Ahead of kickoff, the team made it official and listed Mostert as inactive against the Seattle Seahawks. This will be his second missed game in a row with the same chest issue that he's been dealing with since their Week 1 game against the Jacksonville Jaguars. De'Von Achane is set to take on a huge workload while Tua Tagovailoa (concussion) is also sidelined, which means the playbook will be adjusted for backup quarterback Skylar Thompson. Jeff Wilson Jr. will serve as the backup again while Jaylen Wright may see some opportunities depending on the game script.
From RotoBaller
Miami Dolphins RB Raheem Mostert (chest) has been declared inactive for the Week 3 game.
Fantasy Spin: De'Von Achane has taken over as the main running back for the Dolphins and will see most of the snaps at the position in Week 3. He should be a starting option in all fantasy leagues.
From TheHuddle
The Miami Dolphins have declared DB Ethan Bonner, LB Channing Tindall, C Andrew Meyer, RB Raheem Mostert, WR Malik Washington, QB Tyler Huntley and LB Mohamed Kamara inactive for Week 3.
From TheHuddle
Miami Dolphins running back Raheem Mostert (chest) is officially listed as doubtful to suit up in Week 3 on the road at Lumen Field on Sunday against the Seattle Seahawks. It appears as though Mostert needs another week of recovery, which isn't a surprise after head coach Mike McDaniel said he was "pessimistic" about Mostert playing earlier on Friday. Mostert suffered a chest injury in the Week 1 win over the Jacksonville Jaguars and sat out on a short week last Thursday in the blowout loss to the division-rival Buffalo Bills. With quarterback Tua Tagovailoa (concussion) out for the foreseeable future, look for Miami to lean on running back De'Von Achane heavily against Seattle this weekend. Achane saw 29 touches against Buffalo last week. With Mostert likely out a second straight week, Jeff Wilson Jr. and rookie Jaylen Wright will be sprinkled in when Achane needs a blow.
From RotoBaller
Miami Dolphins RB Raheem Mostert (chest) was limited during practice Friday, Sept. 20, but is listed as doubtful for Week 3.
Fantasy Spin: De'Von Achane will receive most of the work at running back with Mostert expected to be sidelined and should be a starting option in all fantasy leagues.
From TheHuddle
Miami Dolphins running back Raheem Mostert (chest) remains in questionable status for Week 3. On Friday, Adam Schefter of ESPN reported that head coach Mike McDaniel stated he was "pessimistic" about Mostert's status on Sunday. While this did not rule the 32-year-old out for Sunday, it does not bode well for his potential status. Mostert missed their Week 2 game against the Buffalo Bills due to a chest injury he sustained in their season opener against the Jacksonville Jaguars. Fantasy managers should continue to monitor Mostert's status during Friday's practice as it should provide more clarity on his viability for Sunday. If Mostert misses his second-straight game, fantasy managers should expect sophomore De'Von Achane to be the lead-back.
From RotoBaller
Miami Dolphins RB Raheem Mostert (chest) is unlikely to play in Week 3 against the Seattle Seahawks as head coach Mike McDaniel is 'pessimistic' about his chances, he told reporters Friday, Sept. 20.
Fantasy Spin: Mostert seems to be trending toward missing another game. This makes De'Von Achane a solid RB1 option while Jeff Wilson and Jaylen Wright should likely be avoided after what they showed in Week 2.
From TheHuddle
Miami Dolphins running back Raheem Mostert (chest) put in his second straight day of limited practice this week on Thursday after he was held out of last Thursday night's loss to the division-rival Buffalo Bills on a short week. In addition, RB Jeff Wilson Jr. (oblique) upgraded to a full practice on Thursday after he was limited on Wednesday. The 32-year-old Mostert has apparently improved since last week, but he could still be questionable for the Week 3 game at Lumen Field against the Seattle Seahawks. In the Week 1 win over the Jacksonville Jaguars, Mostert played 44% of the offensive snaps behind De'Von Achane and had only six carries for a measly nine rushing yards while catching two passes for 10 yards. Miami is going to rotate their backs in 2024, but it's clear that Achane is the favorite to lead in touches, and he also has the most upside of any Dolphins back. Mostert heads into Week 3 as a shaky fantasy RB.
From RotoBaller
Miami Dolphins RB Raheem Mostert (chest) was limited during practice Thursday, Sept. 19.
Fantasy Spin: Mostert appears to have a good chance to return to the lineup after a one-game absence, but fantasy players will know more over the next few days. He will see limited touches if he is active and is only a possible flex option in some deeper leagues.
From TheHuddle
Miami Dolphins RB Raheem Mostert (chest) was limited during practice Wednesday, Sept. 18.
Fantasy Spin: Mostert was not able to play in the Week 2 game but seems to have a decent chance to play this week. He probably will see limited work behind De'Von Achane if he plays and probably can be avoided in most leagues.
From TheHuddle
Miami Dolphins running back Raheem Mostert (chest) is practicing on Wednesday after missing last week's Thursday Night Football contest against the Buffalo Bills with a chest injury. The 32-year-old had a poor showing in Week 1 against the Jacksonville Jaguars, totaling just 19 yards on seven touches. Miami's backfield is already becoming tricky to navigate, and the fantasy ceiling of all the Miami backs could take a hit while Tua Tagovailoa (concussion) is sidelined. Sophomore running back De'Von Achane remains a must-start option, but Mostert is likely to see fewer red-zone and goal-line opportunities over the next handful of games after he scored 21 touchdowns in 2023. If Mostert is active this week, consider him a shaky flex play for the Week 3 contest against the Seattle Seahawks.
From RotoBaller
The Miami Dolphins have declared DB Ethan Bonner, LB Channing Tindall, C Andrew Meyer, RB Raheem Mostert, WR Malik Washington and LB Mohamed Kamara inactive for Week 2.
From TheHuddle
Miami Dolphins running back Raheem Mostert (chest) will not play on Thursday Night Football against the Buffalo Bills due to a chest injury, but his injury is not expected to keep him out long, and he's unlikely to go on Injured Reserve. A stint on the IR list would mean he would have to miss at least the next four games, so this is good news for his fantasy managers. However, the 32-year-old could only produce 19 yards on seven touches last week against the Jacksonville Jaguars, while De'Von Achane (ankle) posted 100 total yards on 17 touches. It's too early to say Mostert could be regressing, but it's on the table. In his absence, Jeff Wilson Jr. and/or Jaylen Wright will handle touches behind Achane, assuming he's active for Week 2.
From RotoBaller
Miami Dolphins RB Raheem Mostert (chest) will not go on the Reserve/Injured list, and his chest injury isn't considered a long-term issue.
Fantasy Spin: It sounds like he just may miss the short week and could be back next week. There is optimism De'Von Achane (ankle) plays in Week 2, and he'd be an RB1 option if he goes. Otherwise, Jeff Wilson Jr. and Jaylen Wright would be flex candidates.
From TheHuddle
Miami Dolphins RB Raheem Mostert (chest) and WR Malik Washington (quadriceps) did not practice on Wednesday, Sept. 11, and have been ruled out for Week 2. In addition, RB De'Von Achane (ankle) and DB Elijah Campbell (Achilles) were limited and are questionable, LB Jaelan Phillips (Achilles) was limited but carries no designation, and OT Liam Eichenberg (shoulder) and CB Jalen Ramsey (hamstring) practiced in full and were removed from the injury report.
From TheHuddle
Miami Dolphins RB Raheem Mostert (chest) has been ruled out for Week 2.
Fantasy Spin: De'Von Achane (ankle) is also a game-time decision Thursday night, which means Jeff Wilson Jr. and Jaylen Wright are worth picking up and could both be flex options.
From TheHuddle
Miami Dolphins running back Raheem Mostert (chest) will not play on Thursday Night Football against the Buffalo Bills, according to head coach Mike McDaniel. The 32-year-old missed practice on Monday and Tuesday with a chest injury. Mostert did not have a promising start to the season in Week 1 against the Jacksonville Jaguars, rushing six times for nine yards and catching two passes for 10 yards. De'Von Achane (ankle) was also held out on Monday and Tuesday due to an ankle injury, so the injury concerns in this backfield are already coming to life. McDaniel said Achane's status could be up in the air. If Achane plays, he's a must-start option in all leagues. That said, either or both Jeff Wilson Jr. and rookie Jaylen Wright could see work behind him in Mostert's absence, making them low-end flex plays. If Achane can't suit up, both of Miami's backup running backs are flex dice rolls in leagues of 12 teams or more. Wright was a healthy inactive in Week 1, but he could get involved with injuries already piling up.
