Seattle Seahawks kicker Jason Myers will look to improve his scoring output in Week 9 when the Seahawks host the Los Angeles Rams. Myers has been accurate when given the chance in 2024. However, the Seahawks offense has been too inconsistent for Myers to provide reliable fantasy output. The Seahawks should be able to move the ball against an average-at-best Rams defense in Week 9. The question is will they be able to finish drives without turning the ball over? The offense could not get out of its own way in Week 8 against the Buffalo Bills. Various penalties and mental errors cost the team several scoring opportunities. If they can eliminate those errors in Week 9 then Myers will be worth starting in fantasy. Still, there are likely more reliable options out there if you need to pivot.
From RotoBaller
Seattle Seahawks kicker Jason Myers continues to be a quality kicker in fantasy in 2024. Myers got back into the double-digit scoring ranks when he sank two field goals and four extra points against the Atlanta Falcons in Week 7. The Seahawks are trending towards another game that will require high-scoring output in Week 8 when the Buffalo Bills come to town. Josh Allen and co. should be a lot to handle for the Seahawks defense and the offense will have no choice but to try and keep up. The Bills' defense has been good at times in 2024, but they have had trouble slowing down quality offenses. The Seahawks should be in plenty of scoring positions once again in Week 8, meaning that the K11 in Myers is in play for fantasy.
From RotoBaller
Seattle Seahawks kicker Jason Myers has had a relatively safe floor in 2024 due to the Seahawks' ability to move the ball down the field. He has remained relatively accurate, but he has not reached the double-digit fantasy heights since Week 2. That could change in Week 7 when the Seahawks visit the Atlanta Falcons. While the Falcons defense is solid, they have been susceptible to opposing offenses putting up big numbers. The Seahawks should have no issue moving the ball. The only thing that may slow down Myers' fantasy production is that he may be kicking a lot of extra points rather than field goals. If you have a kicker such as Brandon Aubrey on bye this week, you could do worse than Myers in your lineup.
From RotoBaller
Seattle Seahawks kicker Jason Myers should be another solid start in Week 6 against the San Francisco 49ers. The Seahawks should find themselves in scoring positions consistently given how often the offense has operated in opponent territory in 2024. Myers has only missed three kicks in 2024. He sits as the K17 primarily due to a two-point dud in Week 4. However, he has scored at least seven fantasy points in every other game this season. Ironically, even though the Seahawks offense has been effective, they have stalled in opponent territory several times which has given Myers great chances to kick field goals. The Seahawks should be able to put up points against a good but not great 49ers defense in Week 6. Given the Seahawks' injuries on defense, they will likely need to score to keep up. You could do a lot worse than Myers as your kicker in Week 6.
From RotoBaller
Seattle Seahawks kicker Jason Myers had a game-tying kick blocked and returned for a touchdown in Week 5 against the New York Giants. Despite the "missed" kick, Myers still ended up with nine fantasy points for another respectful outing as a kicker. Myers has only missed two field goals on the season, and one could say that neither was his fault. The first miss was a 62-yard career-long attempt at the end of the first half in Week 4. Myers should continue his excellent season in both fantasy and real-life production against a reeling San Francisco 49ers team in Week 6.
From RotoBaller
Seattle Seahawks kicker Jason Myers had a tough day in Week 4 against the Detroit Lions. Myers missed a long field of 62 yards at the end of the first half and only kicked three extra points to make up for it. It is not every day that kickers attempt career long field goals at the end of the half, so Myers' dud is unlikely to be a trend. Myers should continue his accurate kicking spree in Week 5. Additionally, the Seahawks D/ST should be in plenty of scoring positions all day. Do not be surprised if Myers delivers two to three field goals and two to three extra points. That should be enough for another double-digit fantasy day.
From RotoBaller
Seattle Seahawks kicker Jason Myers only managed to deliver two fantasy points on Monday night. Myers was 3/3 on extra points. However, Myers' lone field goal attempt came from 62 yards at the end of the first half. The kick would have been a career-high. The Seahawks also scored four touchdowns, but they went for two on one of them which left points on the field for Myers. The Seahawks' offense continues to consistently be in scoring positions in 2024. As such, Myers should have no shortage of opportunities to continue scoring points. Keep him in your lineup and enjoy the benefits.
From RotoBaller
Seattle Seahawks kicker Jason Myers continues to be consistent. He missed his first kick of the season in Week 3 but still managed to score seven fantasy points thanks to a 56-yard field goal and a couple of extra points. The Seahawks are entering a tough matchup against the Detroit Lions. Both teams should be able to score points consistently. The Seahawks will likely need to call on Myers' leg early and often in this game. He should have plenty of opportunities for field goals of various lengths and extra points. If the Lions' passing defense continues to bend, the Seahawks should not have a problem moving the ball up and down the field.
From RotoBaller
Seattle Seahawks kicker Jason Myers missed his first kick of 2024 on Sunday. Myers went 1/2 on field goals and 3/3 on extra points. He finished with seven fantasy points. The Seahawks offense has been in scoring positions all season affording Myers plenty of chances to score. He will look to continue his solid season in Week 4 against the Detroit Lions.
From RotoBaller
Seattle Seahawks kicker Jason Myers continues to excel in the kicking game. He has yet to miss a kick in 2024 and the Seahawks offense continues to be in scoring positions. With the passing offense starting to click, expect more of the same in Week 3. The Dolphins' defense is solid but nothing to fear. As such, Myers should have plenty more chances for extra points and field goals in Week 3.
From RotoBaller
Seattle Seahawks PK Jason Myers was 3-for-3 on field-goal attempts, including the game-winning kick in overtime, while adding two extra points in Week 2 against the New England Patriots.
From TheHuddle
Seattle Seahawks kicker Jason Myers should have another solid outing in Week 2. Myers finished with 10 fantasy points in Week 1 after connecting on all his kicks. The Patriots have a stingier defense than the Broncos, but Seattle's offense should still be able to move the ball and get into scoring positions. Insert Myers into your lineup for Week 2.
From RotoBaller
Seattle Seahawks kicker Jason Myers had a nice outing on Sunday against the Denver Broncos. Myers connected on both of his field goals and both of his extra points on Sunday en route to 10 fantasy points. The Seahawks offense started off slow and was forced into two early field goals which was beneficial for Myers. As the season wears on, the offense should continue to improve and put Myers in more positions to secure points in fantasy.
From RotoBaller
Seattle Seahawks kicker Jason Myers is a solid option in fantasy in Week 1. The Seahawks offense should have plenty of chances to score on Sunday against a middle-of-the-road Broncos defense. Myers was the K6 in 2023 and should be able to pick up where he left off. He is an incredibly accurate kicker and should have a chance for plenty of field goals and PATs. Start Myers with confidence in Week 1. He has a chance for double-digit fantasy points.
From RotoBaller
Seattle Seahawks kicker Jason Myers went 3-for-3 on field goal attempts in Saturday's preseason loss to the Tennessee Titans. Myers made tries from 29, 48, and 50 yards out. The only blemish on his stat line was the missed extra point that followed Easop Winston Jr.'s first-quarter touchdown. The Titans' margin of victory in the game? One point. Myers was perfect on extra-point attempts last season but this is the second try he has missed in as many weeks. The 33-year-old is Seattle's incumbent kicker, though another misfire in the preseason finale against the Browns on August 24 might prompt the team to look at other legs. Myers has been a useful fantasy asset in the past but is by no means automatic.
