Las Vegas Raiders wide receiver Davante Adams (hamstring) was added to the Week 4 injury report on Thursday and was listed as a limited participant in practice. Mid-week additions to the injury report are usually never a good thing, so fantasy managers will want to keep a close eye on Adams' practice status on Friday and final designation on the injury report heading into Sunday's game at Allegiant Stadium against the Cleveland Browns. If the 31-year-old is limited again on Friday, he'll probably be listed as questionable to play in Week 4. After going for 110 yards and his first touchdown of the year in the Week 2 win over the Ravens, Adams caught four passes for only 40 yards in the Week 3 loss to the Panthers. Adams is a must-start in fantasy when he's active, but his status is now in question this weekend. If Adams doesn't play, Jakobi Meyers and Tre Tucker would see more targets.

Las Vegas Raiders DE Maxx Crosby (ankle), LB Divine Deablo (oblique), OT Thayer Munford Jr. (knee, ankle), CB Decamerion Richardson (hamstring) and TE Michael Mayer (personal) did not practice on Thursday, Sept. 26. Also, LB Kana'i Mauga (calf) and WR Davante Adams (hamstring) were limited and OT Kolton Miller (shoulder), DE Tyree Wilson (knee) and DL Christian Wilkins (knee) practiced in full.

Las Vegas Raiders WR Davante Adams (hamstring) was limited in practice on Thursday, Sept. 26, after being a full participant the day before.

Fantasy Spin: After practicing in full the day before, it would appear Adams got hurt while practicing on Thursday. His status now becomes something to monitor moving forward. He remains a WR1 if he suits up. Jakobi Meyers will be a strong flex option if Adams sits.

Las Vegas Raiders WR Davante Adams reiterated he doesn't want to be traded on Tuesday, Sept. 24.

From TheHuddle

Sep 23 9:50am CT

Las Vegas Raiders wide receiver Davante Adams followed up his massive game in Week 2 against the Baltimore Ravens with an absolute dud against the Carolina Panthers in Week 3. Adams was targeted nine times by QB Gardner Minshew II but caught only four passes for 40 yards and no touchdowns. That's an excellent target volume, but Adams could put up some duds without better quarterback play. After three straight seasons of dominance, Adams could be headed for another year similar to 2023, marked equally by big games as it is by inconsistency. Minshew Mania might not be much of an upgrade over backup QB Aidan O'Connell for Adams. He's still a must-start at WR in Week 4 against the Cleveland Browns, but fantasy managers should be prepared for a roller coaster ride.

Las Vegas Raiders WR Davante Adams ended up with four receptions for 40 yards and nine targets in Week 3 against the Carolina Panthers.

Fantasy Spin: Adams and the passing game didn't get off to a very good start, and the Raiders fell behind early. Tre Tucker and Jakobi Meyers ended up with better stat lines, but by no means are they are threat to the fantasy viability of Adams. It's one game. He'll look to bounce back in Week 4 against the Cleveland Browns.

Raiders' WR Davante Adams scored 26.00 fantasy points in Sunday's Week 2 win in Baltimore. Adams caught nine passes for 110 yards with one touchdown.

Sep 15 6:23pm CT

Las Vegas Raiders WR Davante Adams registered game bests with nine receptions, 110 yards and 12 targets while also scoring a touchdown in Week 2 against the Baltimore Ravens.

Fantasy Spin: It appeared that the Raiders had a difficult matchup against the Ravens defense, but Las Vegas definitely went beyond projections in the pass game. The Raiders face the hapless Carolina Panthers in Week 3, but that is a double-edged sword. Adams and the pass game could get off to a big start, but if the team takes a giant lead, the offense could be more run-based, too. Still, Adams is always a must-start fantasy option when healthy.

Sep 15 3:30pm CT

Las Vegas' WR Davante Adams had 9 receptions for 110 yards with one touchdown in Sunday's win in Baltimore.

Sep 9 11:10am CT

Las Vegas Raiders star wide receiver Davante Adams caught five of six passes for 59 yards in Sunday's 22-10 loss to the Los Angeles Chargers. He had a quieter game than usual. The 31-year-old tied running back Alexander Mattison for second on the team with six targets, but the deep ball was absent, limiting his usual explosive plays. Adams remains a high-floor WR2 with WR1 potential, but his output might fluctuate with quarterback Gardner Minshew II at the helm. He's still a must-start on the road in Baltimore next week, though expectations should be slightly tempered for big games.

Las Vegas Raiders WR Davante Adams denied reports that he wasn't happy. 'If I were (unhappy), I wouldn't be here right now,' Adams said.

Fantasy Spin: He'll be 32 before the end of the season and still had 103 catches last year. He wound up being the WR10 and will have QB questions again this season. He's still a very consistent, safe WR1 option, but his big-game potential is dwindling.

Las Vegas Raiders wide receiver Davante Adams says there is no truth to reports he is not happy in Las Vegas. Former wide receiver DeSean Jackson made the original claim that Adams refuted and according to an ESPN article said he has never spoken to Jackson about his current situation with the Raiders. The 31-year-old receiver out of Fresno State recorded 103 catches for 1,144 yards and eight touchdowns for the Raiders last season. With an unsettled quarterback situation this year, the outlook is a little less rosy for the veteran receiver but Adams is still one of the most talented wide receivers in the league.

Sep 4 6:10pm CT

Las Vegas Raiders wide receiver Davante Adams (undisclosed) appears to be in line to suit up for the Week 1 regular-season opener this Sunday against the division-rival Los Angeles Chargers after he was not included on the first official injury report of the season. Adams was a full participant in the first official practice of the 2024 campaign after dealing with a minor undisclosed injury toward the end of training camp in August. As a top-15 wide receiver off the board in drafts, Adams should be a must-start in fantasy lineups against the Bolts this weekend in his first game working with new quarterback Gardner Minshew II. The 31-year-old pass-catcher secured his fourth straight 1,000-yard season with an ineffective Jimmy Garoppolo and rookie Aidan O'Connell in 2023, although his eight touchdowns were his fewest in that category since 2019. Start him with confidence in Week 1 as Vegas' WR1.

Las Vegas Raiders wide receiver Davante Adams (undisclosed) didn't suit up for Saturday's preseason clash with the Cowboys. However, it appears Adams' injury isn't severe. "The other night when we had the practice here at the stadium, he had an awkward movement where he just got sore," head coach Antonio Pierce said in an interview with ESPN. "He missed practice on Thursday. And like I said, if a guy's not 100 percent healthy, I wasn't going to risk it. It's not worth it. He'll be back to practice come Tuesday." The 31-year-old eclipsed the 1,000-yard receiving mark for the fourth consecutive season in 2023-24. Yet, he caught just eight touchdowns, his fewest since 2019. But if Adams can get some stability from quarterback Gardner Minshew II, who was announced as the Week 1 starter on Sunday, he could return to the Pro Bowl conversation. With that said, fantasy managers should still view him as a top wideout, assuming he's healthy.

Las Vegas Raiders WR Davante Adams (undisclosed) did not play in the preseason Week 2 game on Saturday, Aug. 17, after tweaking something at practice during the week, head coach Antonio Pierce said. Adams is expected to be at practice this week, though.

From TheHuddle

Aug 18 12:30pm CT

Las Vegas Raiders head coach Antonio Pierce said that wide receiver Davante Adams (undisclosed) tweaked something in training camp practice on Wednesday, which is why he didn't suit up for the team's preseason game on Saturday versus the Dallas Cowboys. Adams is expected to return to practice on Tuesday, though, so it doesn't appear to be an injury that is serious enough to put his availability for the Week 1 regular-season opener in question. The 31-year-old pass-catcher is unlikely to play in the preseason finale against the San Francisco 49ers next Friday, and the team's starters won't even play in that contest. In his first year without quarterback Derek Carr in 2023, Adams still had over 1,000 receiving yards, but his 1,144 yards and eight touchdowns were both his fewest marks since 2019. He's likely to struggle for big explosive plays down the field again in 2024, making him more of a low-end WR1 than a high-end one.

Las Vegas Raiders wide receiver Davante Adams (unknown) was not at practice on Thursday night and the reason is still unknown. The star wideout rejoined his teammates on Monday after the birth of his son and has practiced as usual since then. His absence is more than likely a short-term deal but it would be worth monitoring as it remains to be seen if he suits up for a preseason game this year. The quarterback battle continues while Adams' fantasy impact weighs heavily on who wins between Gardner Minshew II and Aidan O'Connell.

Aug 12 10:20pm CT

The Las Vegas Raiders are getting wide receiver Davante Adams (personal) back at training camp this week. The three-time first-team All-Pro left the team in camp in Costa Mesa after six practices this summer -- he missed the final five practices and the preseason opener on Saturday against the Minnesota Vikings -- to return to Las Vegas for the birth of his son. "Davante will be here today," head coach Antonio Pierce said on Sunday. "Spoke to him after the game. He's excited. He watched it. He misses his teammates. Glad baby boy is here, healthy." It remains to be seen if the 31-year-old will suit up in the team's second preseason contest this Saturday against the Dallas Cowboys. Adams had a fourth straight 1,000-yard season in his second year in Sin City in 2023, but his 1,144 receiving yards and eight TDs were his fewest in those categories since 2019. He's still a WR1 in fantasy, but he's on the low end of that tier with either Gardner Minshew or Aidan O'Connell running the offense.
